Cant find my purchased videos
i believe i have deleted over $150 worth of videos. I wen to tranfer everything from my mac mini to my external hard drive exactly like the guy in the apple store told me and now they are gone. they are not in my deleted files/folder/trash can either.
i am hearing that if they were deleted from my deleted file then i am not in luck; however, i find it hard to believe if I have a reciept for all of these purchases, I am not intitled to getting them back.

First explain in detail exactly what you did?
Once we see the steps you have taken we may be able to help you find the files.
If you have not emptied the trash and they are not in there then it is very likely you have simply moved the files and we just need to help you locate them.
Apple will allow you to download the files IF you contact them and ask nicely.

Cant find Adobe TV videos on 3D in Photoshop CS4
Im trying to find all the videos I can about Photoshop's 3D capabilities.
I have attempted to search Adobe TV's videos on the Adobe TV site.
All attempts fail miserably.
The search function on Adobe TV is useless. Simply doesnt work.
Adobe TV seems to be working much worse than it was a few months ago. What happened?

Cant location additional content for my Desolation of Smaug purchase. Video downloaded fine.
Now they are saying that only movies purchased before July 10, 2014, can you download the Extras content. ***?
And i only found this after searching the web for the last 3 hours.
So if you want to watch the extras, you have to have an internet connection and stream it.
What about if i don't have an WIFI connection and want to watch on a plane or a car ride. What is the point of buying a movie to enjoy if you can only do that based on a wifi connection.
No where on the films page, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (Extended Edition), does it say extra content is only streamable. It only says "This HD purchase "INCLUDES" online access to iTunes Extras" - It does not say limited to. This is very misleading.
I would not have bought the film if i had know that. In fact, the only reason i bought this was for the extras because the other Hobbit and LOTR movie extended editions have been so awesome on the making of the film.....
This is bogus. I want my money back so i can buy the Blu Ray. At least then i can take it and watch whenever i like... not just when i am connected to WIFI. -
Cant find my purchased movie in my libary

I changed my email awhile back and have been using it fine until the other day i had to wipe my computer clean and when I downloaded the Itunes and pluged in my ipod I lost all my purchased items. where can i find them and get them back
They would only be where you put them.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If or some reason you failed to do the basics and maintain a backup, then you can redownload purchased music in some countries:

You only get one download of movies. It is your responsibility to backup your purchases. -
E71-I cant find the copied videos from my PC to E-...

I have copied 3 movie clips from my PC to my E-71, so when it was completed the memory had counted the copied clips, and this confirmed while browsing it on my PC and it was copied to VIDEO Clips in my E-71. When I was about to play and view the movie in my E-71, I can't find it there, though when the memory card counted it, but if I connect the USB reader cable from my e-71 to my PC, it is there, so why I can't find it in my E-71....so what is the problem with this? anyone can help me please?

My wife has purchased ALOT of music for her iphone and didnt transfer them before updating her phone and lost them. How do retrieve untransffered music?

You ought to have backed up your data before nuking Windows...
You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

I recently switched from a pc to a laptop and am in process of moving my Itunes library to my laptop.I cant find my "purchased"songs .How do I recover my purchased songs and get them into my new laptop library? There is a record of my purchase in the Itunes store.

They will only be where you put them If you are doing the very basics, then they will be on your computer and they will be in your backup copy of your computer.
The itunes store is not global at all, never has been. You cannot redownload your content from another country. You can only use the countrys itunes store for the country that you are physically located. -
Cant find conversion program for my windows video clips.

I recently purchased an Intel iMac as my main desktop PC. I have a little cheap mini DV camcorder which i occasionally filmed my dog on agility course etc. It seems to save the files with a .ASF extension.
The windows media player (on previous desktop win XP home edition) had no problems viewing these and I was able to put clips together to make a mini movie which it was saved with .MSWMM extension.
I have looked through free downloads like perian etc on this site but cant find a mention of .asf or .mswmm extensions that would allow me to view and edit these in iMovie.
I looked at 'MPEG streamclip' which i liked as it allows you to save 'youtube' clips, but that doesnt mention .asf or .mswmm either and i cant find an email address to contact anyone about that on the site i saw it on.
Can anyone tell me what i need to be able to play my existing video clips on my iMac?
Also is there a camcorder out that does automatically saves video clips in a mac compatible format to save me having to convert everything all the time in future?

KatiI've had pretty good luck with Flip4Mac. Here's a blurb about what it will translate (thru Quicktime):
Advanced Systems Format (ASF), Advanced Stream Redirector (ASX) and Audio Video Interleaved (AVI). The plug-in can also handle Windows Media Video (WMV) containers, which have the same roots as ASF. The Microsoft's audio container, Windows Media Audio (WMA) is also supported by this plug-in.
One quick question....you downloaded it, but did you install it? Sorry if that's a dumb question for you, but, for some, it's a reasonable concern.
All that being said, if you're asf isn't playing, possibly it doesn't conform to a standard compatible with F4M. Occasionally I will run across a file that says it's a wmv, but hiding underneath is an unsupported codec, which renders it unplayable on a Mac with F4M, or anything else.
Sometimes VLC will play content that nothing else will. -

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
