Google Chrome comes with Flash Player preinstalled, so you cannot install it manually for Chrome.
If you have completed the installation for Internet Explorer (do you see Adobe Flash Player in Control Panel | Programs and Features?), then check

  • Find All Computers with Adobe Flash 12.0.0.77

I am trying to make a collection with all computers that have Adobe Flash version 12.0.0.77 so that I can do a subselect query but I am getting a syntax error and I don't know why.
    SELECT SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID, SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType, SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name, SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,
    SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup, SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client

    dbo.SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS ON SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.ResourceId = SMS_R_System.ResourceId
    WHERE (SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.DisplayName LIKE '[%Flash%]') and (SMS_G_System_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS.Version '[12.0.0.77]')
    Can someone please help?

I took the time this weekend to write the query so that it will work for both x86 and x64 software.

  • I need help finding a version of Adobe Flash player to run on my PowerMac G5.  It is a Power PC, not Intel

I need a version of Adobe Flash Player to work on my PowerPC.  Adobe has not been able to help me at all.

    Hello,
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/865/cpsid_86551.html#prob1=uninst,os=m10.6,
    Download this if you haven't...
    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp10.1.102.6 4_and_9.0.289.0archive.zip
Once downloaded if it doesn't unzip automatically the double click on that file.
Look for the fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive folder, open it, look for the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder & open and look for 101r10264 folder & open it, double click on the flashplayer101r102_64_ubmac.dmg file, choose the Install Adobe Flash Player file to install... they don't make it easy!
    Or simpler yet...

And the Standalone Player if you need/want it.

  • Premiere Elements 11 Shared Technologies error DW020 Adobe Flash Player 10 plug in missing.

I am unable to complete the install of Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my Windows7 Pro 64 bit system.  When the installation process gets to installing Shared Technologies I get an error message "The installation process has encountered an error while installing Shared Technologies.  Please restart your system and try again."  Restarting the system gives the same result again.  The download assistant program identifies two errors: DW050--Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX: Install failed, and DW020: Adobe Flash CS5.5 depends on Adobe Flash Player 10 plugin to be installed.
My system currently has Adobe Flash player 11.7.700.224 installed.  I can find a download of Adobe Flash Player 10 but where do I put it?  Do I need to uninstall Adobe Flash Player 11.7... ?  Is there another solution?

This install problem seems to be solved.  I uninstalled every Adobe program, but still couldn't get past the Shared Technologies issue.  Then I went to C://Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/ and deleted all recent folders & files.  This seemed to do it.  Both Premiere Elements 11 and Photoshop Elements completed installation.  Now on to figuring out how to force Windows7 64 bit to run these programs in 32 bit simulation mode.

  • How is one to safely deal with the "Update Adobe Flash Player" Pop-Up?

Good computer security practice would be to *not* click on anything in the unexpected pop-up, but instead close that window and then either:
Go to the Adobe site and download the "Update" from there -- but the site never offers "updates", it just offers downloads of the product.
Open the cited application on one's computer and use its "update" process -- but I can never find the most recent Adobe Flash Player application on my Mac.  I've used Adobe's Update process multiple times in the past and the result is multiple old versions of Adobe Flash Player scattered around, but the latest version which the Adobe Flash Player test site at URL:  http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/   says that I have is nowhere to be found.  Right now, running that test on my Mac results in the feedback:  "You have version 11,0,1,152 installed"
If one does click on the "INSTALL" button in the pop-up, is the Adobe "update" process which is to run supposed to just add another "new" version of Adobe Flash Player (in some non-intuitive place), or is it also to remove the older versions, or at least the most recent older version, of Adobe Flash Player?
Is there some predictable default location where Adobe Flash Player should be installed on Mac OS X?

The download does EXACTLY what the "update" does... it downloads the full new version (about 3.6mb) and OVERWRITES the older version.
In your Library/Application Support/Adobe folder (I forget just exactly where) the plug-in installs for your installed browsers.  The updater overwrites the files there.

  • Adobe flash plugin crashed, how do I fix it?

I try to play Treasure Isle on Facebook and I cant because it keeps saying adobe flash plugin crashed. How do I fix the problem to prevent this from happening?

  • Why won't Adobe flash load and why am I now left with blocked plug ins ?!!

Yesterday I received a demand via Safari to download latest version of Adobe flash player.
I did so and immediately found my system virtually unusable, with blocked plug ins at every turn. Neither has the flash player actually installed, despite constant attempts.  I have removed previous versions, etc, restarted the Mac etc, taken every bit of advice going.
24 hours later and having wasted nearly a whole day,  I am still left with a Mac with applications I cannot now access which were running to perfection before trying to download Adobe flash player.   Hugely frustrating and annoying.

I had a different issue in that the install hung at 95% but I used a manual install and that fixed the problem. See if this works for you as it appears that the installer is buggy.
Use the "Manual Install" mode. Control-click on Install Adobe Flash Player.app
"In the Contents/Resources folder, you’ll find a file named Adobe Flash Player.pkg. Double click it"
    That worked.
Just to mention, you do not need to restart the system after installation

Hi, can anyone help? I have google chrome with latest version of adobe flash but I cant seem to run it. I cant open files that require adobe flash. Instead I get a blank page with a prompt to get adobe flash. When I click on the prompt, another message says I already have adobe flash installed but it has been disabled. I follow the step by step instructions given and confirm adobe flash is enabled but it still wont work. I've tried again and again and the same messages are still coming up. What could be the problem?

  • Cannot install adobe flash

Where can I find the download for Adobe Flash that will run on my iBook G3 with OS X 10.4.11?  My brother gave me his old iBook after he bought a new lapto

Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

  • Flex is open source, what about adobe flash?

    Hi all,
There is some confusion on our Flex team. We're aware of the
Flex announcement that Adobe intends to release Flex under the MPL
at some future date. Some of the developers on our team, however,
believe the Adobe Flash plugin in browsers such as Mozilla are open
source as well. After googling, I could not find any indication
that adobe Flash is open source. We're aware of Gnash, etc, but our
question relates specifically to Adobe Flash - is it open source or
has there been an announcement that Adobe intends to open source
Flash browser plugins? What, if anything, is open source concerning
    Flash?
    Thanks,
    iksrazal

Flash will not be open source.

  • I can't use adobe flash player. Is there an alternative

ive tried to view some things online but cant see them due to adobe flash payer not being supported. I there an alternative that I can download

Depending on what you're trying to access, there may be alternatives. Many sites, such as YouTube, have dedicated apps. You might also try browsers such as SkyFire, Swiffer and Puffin. They render the video on their servers. Depending on the site, they may or may not work for you.
    Best of luck.
