Cant find the WAP (GPRS) connection on my n85
Hey guys,
call me stupid but I cant find the option to go online by the WAP (GPRS) function. Only way I can use the internet is by using a WLAN... In the manual is described that WAP 2.0 is supported by the mobile. Can somebody help me?
(and sorry for my terrible english - Im from ger )
On my phone there are two ways to connect using wap.
Menu > settings >connection > access points > wap.
Shortcut method. Hold down zero button.
Have you read the manual?
If not then I would suggest you do. Thats what a manuals for. It is in there because I have just had a look. A little bit of research on your part would help.

I upgraded from Dreamweaver CS4 to CS6. but now when I want to upload I get "an TFP error occured - cannot make connection to host". I spent hours with the host technician and we cant find the error. I reinstalled DW4 and it connects to host perfectly. Anyone else seen this problem?

None of these issues are causing the error in DW CS6. We have double checked all of them and we have everything exactly right. Also I have exactly the same SiteSetup in DW CS4 and that works perfectly well. Could there must be factor in 6 that didn't exist in 4? Something that isnt in the SiteSetup but in some hidden dialog box ?
I can also upload to my host using Fetch, a third party FTP. And as I said DW CS4 works fine. So the problem is not with my host, its with DW CS6 in particular.Thank you Jon, that fixed it perfectly. You have saved me from going crazy. The only difference I see now is in "Server Name" it changed what I had entered (my ftp address) to "Remote Server"; which seems odd -- but it works! Although I know there maybe also some other dialog box I have never seen
Of course I saw that menu item "Import" and but I thought thats obviously not for me: "Why would I want to import an entire website?". I did not however see "Export the selected site" for thats only a tiny icon in the footer. However I would have thought the same: "Why would I want to export my entire website?".
An observation: I've seen this problem in a lot of Adobe software, the menu-names of items are obscure, non descriptive. What would be better would be for the menu names or popups to say "Export Site Setup settings" and "Import Site Setup settings" -
I cant find my wireless netowrk connection on the lower roght corner
My is Linksys WRT54G2 and for the past few days it worked but i cant see the wirless network connection but my internet connection is fine but yesterday our internet was gone and we fixed it but when i got to my computer i tried playing but there was no internet connection so i tried on my sister's laptop and there was internet but mine doesnt have im trying to find the "Wireless Network Connection" on the lower roght corner of my PC so i can connect but i coudnt find it pls help me.
any suggestion?

Things you need to do :
1. Check the Network Connection. You can find it under the Control Panel. See if the Wireless Connection is Enabled/Disabled.
2. Check the Device Manager. You can find it on your System Properties. See if you have the wireless adapter installed.
3. For Laptops. Check if you have the WiFi Switch Enabled. See you Laptop documentation for the WiFi Switch Info.

The same way you would sync with any other version of iTunes.
Connect the device.
Select the device.
Select Sync.
In the new version of iTunes, the sidebar is disabled by default. With a device connected, it will be listed in the upper right hand corner.
If you want the side bar back, type Cntrl + S. -

amitIt doesn't appear on the left-hand side, a Photos tab appears on the right-hand side of your computer's iTunes when you've selected the iPad 'device' on the left-hand side - but that is only used to copy photos to the iPad, not to copy them off.
To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard -

Pay no attention to iinami, the amount of replies to people saying their handsets must have been jailbroken everytime iTunes throws out an error is tremendous. (Clearly you don't need to have any real knowledge to get to level 3 on these forums, let's hope apple's geniuses know a lot more than some of their customers.)

Error 9
This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB troubleshooting, using a different USB dock-connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software. -
my daughters ipod touch says disabled. went on help, did the sync, cant find the asst that asks me to restore.
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -

3 common causes when this occurs:
1) The Windows FireWall is blocking the connection attempt between AirPort Utility and the AirPort Express
2) The PC anti-virus software is doing the same thing
3) Microsoft Security Essentials....if installed...is doing the same thing
Check the settings in each application to see if a "block" is occuring, so you can make an "exception" or "allow" the connection to occur.
It might help to try a direct connection from an Ethernet port on the PC to a LAN <-> port on the AirPort Express. If you can configure the Express this way, you can disconnect the Ethernet cable once the Express has been set up.
Although primarily used for printer communications, it is a good idea to install Bonjour for Windows, as Bonjour may help communicatons on the network.

Try installing all CR patches and then test using OLE DB. If not an option we need to know more details of the database and driver/client?
I recall this may be an issue and not sure if it's been patched or not. Try searching here to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Not possible. Safari won't download and save a Zip file. You either had to use a 3rd party app, or as wjosten suggests, your phone is jailbroken. If the former, you'll need to use that app to find it. If the latter, you'll have to look elsewhere for assistance.
