Cant fix email with imail and iphone

Seriously I'm nearly in tears going nuts here. I bought my phone just a week or so ago. Went from a blackberry to the iPhone 4S and I know it's supposed to be better, but serioulsy I wish I had my BB for email right now! I am receiving emails on my phone, but not on iMail on my iMac. My phone shows IMAP and my computer showed POP, so we tried making a new account with IMAP. What happened then was iMail tried to check BOTH. When I disable the POP, ALL my inbox disappears with and I have none of my stored messages. If I enable it and tell it not to check POP, somehow it still does and they "fight" and don't get anything. Mean time I am ONLY recieving emails on the iPhone and that wont work for me! I tried syncing the emails and then I ended up with 2 accounts on my iPhone and I got double messages, but STILL nothing on iMail. I also lost ALL of my messages on my iPhone when trying to add accounts and whatnot on iMail because I deleted everything from iMail not realizing the iPhone email doesn't work the same way as Blackberrry! Please help! I have a photo issue too that I'll write a separate message for.

I was not familiar with iPlanet Messenger Express, so I did a search for it. Appears to be a web-based email service. You could access it with Safari.
However, if you are looking to download your email you need to find out the POP3 or IMAP servers your university uses.

Email with Ipad and Iphone-Deleting off of server

On my ipad and Iphone, I have icloud turned OFF. I have a ATT account that I have set up to BOTH my Iphone and my Ipad. When I recieve and email, both my Ipad and My Iphone recieve the email. However, If I delete it from my Iphone, It automatically deletes on my Ipad. But the major problem is this....
I have on both Iphone and Ipad in Advanced Settings for Mailbox Behavior to Delete messages "On My iPhone" Trash, and not the server. But, When I delete a message on either device and go online into my ATT account on the server, the message is GONE.. It is not even going into my trash. It is like the message never existed!
If I delete a message from my Ipad or My Iphone, it is just to clear them off my phone, I want them to stay in my inbox on the server so I can do work when I get to my desk. I have doubled and tripled check that the Mailbox behavior for delete is to my iphone/ipad! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you are running v10.6.4, click the Apple () menu (top left in your screen) Software Update ...
Then sync both devices, restart both devices.

POP3 Email with Outlook and iPhone email at the same time??

I have my iPhone set up to receive my Comcast email.
I would like to use Microsoft Outlook to also get my Comcast email.
I know how to set up Microsoft Outlook to get my Comcast email - my problem is this:
When I have Microsoft Outlook opened on my PC, I no longer get the emails sent to my iPhone. The only way to get the emails to show up on my iPhone is to have Outlook closed on my PC.
Anyone know how to have Microsoft Outlook always opened on my PC and receive the emails on both my iPhone and in Microsoft Outlook?

It sounds like Outlook is set to remove messages from the server when retrieving email.
Try clicking on File-->Account Settings-->Select your account and click change-->click More Settings-->click the Advanced Tab and check the box to leave a copy of the emails on the server.
You can then also choose to have the emails removed from the server after x number of days or when the email is deleted from the Deleted Items box

You need to send through the smtp address provided by your mobile network or switch your mobile email to an imap provider such as gmail or an apple .me account as these tend to work.

Having trouble syncing email with iCloud and iphone--

If I delete mail from the icloud or iphone, email is deleted from imac, iphone, and/or icloud. If I delete mail from the imac, the iphone and icloud email is not deleted. Any ideas as to whether I have a setting on the mac? I am running OS X 10.7.2. Thanks in advance for your help!

Cant send emails with attachments

All of a sudden I cant send emails with attachments from my iphone or iPad.
Has anyone else had similar issues?

HT5275 With Safari version 6, I cant send emails with attachments (e.g. photos, word documents) using my Yahoo Account. How can I solve this?

I recently updated my safari to version 6. After having updates, I found out that I cant send emails with attachment. This is only with my Yahoo Account. I used my Yahoo Account more often than my other emails, can someone help me fix this?

Syncing outgoing email on MacBook and iphone. Read loads of posts but still can't resolve...

Ploughed my way through loads of previous posts but have yet to find a solution.
It's that age old problem: I want to sync email on MacBook and iPhone so that changes on either device are reflected on the other.
Everything other than mail is synced succesfully via iTunes so no problem there. My email server is oneandone and accounts on both devices are IMAP. Incoming mail shows on both accounts but outgoing mail is only shown on the device the action was performed on.
Any suggestions on how to resolve? Am running 10.6 with a MacBook Pro and iPhone 4S.

I have never found a solution (and I have looked). As I recall, if you uncheck "store sent mail on server" all the mail looks like it is sent from me.
I send a little mail from my iPad, but most of it is from my MacBook Pro.
I realize this has not resolved the issue, but I thought it would, at least, indicate that you are not alone.

This bothers me so much. It is absolutely ridiculous. I use my Apple ID as well as a family member's Apple ID to download music.
Every once in a while I will purchase a song and it won't download correctly or will give me an error that my computer is not authorized, a solution I usually fix by deleting and redownloading the song from the cloud. This doesn't work, however, when it happens to both accounts within 90 days.
It is incredibly frustrating to me that I have paid for a song, it downloaded incorrectly, and I must wait 90 days to try downloading it again because of these assinine policies.

Trouble sending email from iPad and iPhone

I'm haing trouble sending email from iPad and iPhone 4. No trouble receiving email, just sending!

If this happened in the past hour or so with dot-mac or dot-me mail, the iCloud servers were having a problem.
