Adobe Pro is not a program. Is this Acrobat Pro? What OS are you ruinning? Are you downloading from the Adobe store or did you get a DVD to install from?

Are you getting any error message. Please follow the kb: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html if Acrobat showing up to date even after you uninstalled it.

I migrated a user from another mac and cant get any updates to install, for example it says iPhoto is intalled but its not, i never copied it from the older imac, and i cant download it to this one now

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

Hi a bought Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 for the reason to get after effects but after i completed the installation the only application which did not download and install was after effects does anyone know how i can fix this as i only bought if for my work and it is a waste of money if i cant use it thanks

Cant get macbook pro to send midi signals

I have a new Macbook pro running 10.8.2 and I am trying to send midi singals to an Elation Magic 260 light controller. I have an M-Audio Midisport USB Uno connected from the macbook to the magic 260. I have installed the drivers for the uno, I can see it show up in my AMS screen and have created an external device for my Magic 260. When I go to test the setup...I get no sgnal coming from the macbook. Just wondering if anyone out there can offer some insight or advice?

Want to buy QT 7, but cant get free version to install Errors 1714 and 1603

Hi all,
I was trying to install QT 7.x on this XP Pro machine and it failed and now after uninstalling QT and iTunes, I get errors 1714 and 1603 when trying to re-install iTunes.
I tried the QT installer by itself, will not install

I went thru regedt32 and deleted all registries for items and QT and also all files, still no go.
And the above error message is pointing to a file that is right where the error says, so its not missing.
I have spent about 2 days trying to resolve this and WANT to BUY QT 7 pro, but not if it is never going to run onthis machine.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'm getting the same error messages when trying to install the latest version of Quicktime along with the message 'unable to locate file c:\windows\downloaded installations\{59C4F14F-7590-45FC-BE9F-A67AB3590709}\iTunes.msi
I'm also being instructed to contact my technical support group (whoever and wherever they are).
I tried running the program that Jacumba recommends to no avail.
I wouldn't mind being permanently without iTunes, or Quicktime come to think of it, but unfortunately I need Quicktime to use a training program that I've bought, and there doesn't seem to be an alternative.

Cant get any geforce driver installed

I built a computer, my first time actually building from the case up.
But I have been dealing with computers since the Commodore 64, the Commodore 128, and the all time great TRS-80.
So, I have a little experience with computers.
My computer as is:
Xp home
P4 2.4G
2x256mb (512mb) - PC1066 Rambus ram
gigabyte p4 titan board
40gig hd
Creative DVD 5x
Sony 24/10/40 burner
SBaudigy platinum
MSI gforce4 ti4800SE.
Every time I go to install the driver for the videocard, be it msi or nvidia, when it gets to the end, it automatically reboots. (no warning, no confirmation).
The machine also does not finish installing the driver, once rebooted, somtimes it goes into an endless loop of rebooting, (until i choose to enter safe mode).
And, when the machine does reboot correctly, it still does not finish installing.
XP comes across a fatal error and shuts down at the last second before install has finished the driver.
During installation, it comes up that Microsoft has not certified the drivers with their WHQL seal.
A couple times, I did get the driver installed, but for some reason it still did not work right, games were extremely slugish or graphics were streaked.
Sometimes I have to reinstall windows, or atleast attempt to re-install the driver, to no avail.
If anyone could help me it would be very appreciated.
I have never called tech support, and by the reviews I got for the MSI tech, I do not think they will be a great deal of help.

Ok here is what I did because everytime I tried to install my drivers for my Video Card the setup would say I didnt have a Nvidia card so I
downloaded the newest drivers expanded them then I went into safe mode made sure all the drivers were uninstalled and registry didnt have any in it then I manuly install the drivers with windows new hardware in control panel
also make sure your device manage in system propertys is clean
If that doesn't work for you then reinstall windows without formating and do it again GL 8)

Cant get Officejet 4630 to install on W8.1

I just bought the officejet printer and tried installing using a usb connection. Printer shows up in device window as a printer, but cant be seen as a printer to apps. Also, when you right click, no printer command come up. Only scanner options. Scanner works. Tried a new Usb cable, multiple usb ports, all no luck.Ran the HP diag tool, it said files missing to uninstall and reinstall. Did that, no luck.(all that from disk included in box)Downloaded drivers online. de/reinstalled again. No luck. Set up printer for Wifi. Deinstalled, reinstalled and tried to install as network printer. No luck Tried all of this on another computer (same os and level) No luck What can I do with this brick I bought? Ready to throw it out the window! Not sure if Best Buy will even take it back. Thanks in advance for any help.

I previously had a trial of Flash Pro CC.
My computer had to do something were it deleted some recent programs.
It happened to delete Flash Pro CC, but my Creative Cloud still think i have it and wont let me re-download it.

Cant get 10.1 to install

Everytime I try to install the new 10.1 it wont install right, it just says that installation failed

Ok, try the following
download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (save to disk);
download the FP plugin installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (save to disk);
now close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installer.
If you don't get any error messages during the install, can you see the Flash animation and version information at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ?

HT204266 I cant get free apps to install on my iphone 4

Its seems ever since I have updated my phone with the latest software, I am now unable to get free apps from the apps store. When I find an app I want, I hit 'Free' then hit 'Install app' it then asks me for my password but then after that, the little box, which before would change to 'installing' now goes back to 'Free' and nothing else happens. I know its nothing to do with my password as I've entered a wrong one to check. I also know its nothing to do with having no card details registrered as I can easily get these apps on my ipad. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this issue on my iphone? Thanks in advance

T-23 needing to get xp pro re installed

My tennant asked me to fix her father's t-23 that she inherited. Her "geek" nephew, wiped the drive with a botched linux install, so I can't use the convenient (thinkpad) button for restoring windows xp. From what I've learned from reading the Lenovo site, the don't sell restore cd's you have to buy a whole new tatooed hard drive. That's a bit much in my opinion. What have you guy's been doing when you upgrade your hard drive's? Any suggestion's? Thanks in advance, Jim.
