Cant get apps to sync

Hi there,
I have the latest itunes and running xp on my lap top.I have an iphone 4s and ipod touch 4thg.I cant get them to sync pass back up.I can put music on them both but thats about it.I have reinstalled itunes.Restored iphone and ipod but still no go.It comes up with an error report and then close's.I have tryed every thing.What do i do?.please help.

YOUR SUGGESTIONS DID NOT WORK BUT I TRIED SYNCINGI PHONE ON THE SMALL COMMPUTER THAT I DON'T USUALLY USE BUT HAD USED ORIGIONALLY TO PUT THE INFO ON MY PHONE AS OUR MAIN COMPUTER WAS BROKEN AT THE TIME. AND EVERYTHING SYYNCED SMOOTHLY

On set up I am frozen on screen which ioS 6 cant get itunes to sync and I can turn the IPAD mini on but has no apps and is un responsive. When checking with computer its downloaded my pictures from Old ipad but I can see no apps or differing screens.

In windows goto control panel>add and remove and uninstall itunes AND quicktime.

Do you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer? Have you called Apple Technical Support (if you're in the US call: 1-800-MY-APPLE). Your phone came with 90 days of technical support. Use it.

I did that and the device driver is correct, at least there is no error triangle there. I have no third party software that should interfere, so I'm back to square one. When I plug the device in to the PC with the USB the device shows up in itunes. When I remover the USB the device disappears, so it is not finding it wirelessly. I have checked and unchecked the sync this device over wifi and reapplied the settings and still it won't hold. I don't know what else to do. Is Apple going to release a fix for this?
When I was going thru the steps to uninstall and reinstall itunes, the apple device support program would not uninstall so I skipped it and went on. Itunes works but not wireless. Would that make a difference?
This is frustrating that Apple would release something so flawed. Was this never tested? Seems so simple and so basic.

I too was a mobileme user and have just migrated to iCloud on mackbook pro w/OS 10.7.4. Transition caused my sent mailboxes to rearrange themselves so that I have no comprehensive 'sent' mailbox as I did previously and the view on both incoming and outgoing mailboxes keeps rearranging itself no matter how many times I set preferences. One result is that search function no longer works. Is anyone else having problems like this? All was fine for a week after transition but after having an evening when my password was repeatedly rejected I had to log in and out of iCloud (as directed by tech support) and w/in an hour or so the mailbox problem began.

It obviously depends on what Mac you have.
Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

Sounds like you may have deleted something you shouldn't have. Boot to an OS X DVD or a bootable backup, and using Disk Utility, do a repair disk, and while there repair permissions. Disconnect any peripherals, and reboot. If you get the same startup behavior, do a safe boot, by holding the shift key down when booting. If that works, try a normal boot. If neither step helps, you may need to relaod your operating system.

Microsoft account setup on the Phone? Settings > email+accounts > microsoft account - tap it
Is the time zone and time set correctly?
Go to email, tap sync on the bottom, does this work?

I purchased Bejeweled 2 On my phone, bought through app store on my actual phone and it would not sync. So I then went on my computer showed up in my apps but would not sync, I then deleted the app, re downloaded and tried again, can still not get it on my phone, any ideas. Thanks

make sure your running iTunes 9.0.2.
if your on a mac you can update by: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1338
if your on a pc you can update by:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ download the latest itunes and install. or by opening itunes, go to help menu, chose check for software update..
repeat this till software update says there are no more updates.
ones your itunes is up to date. make sure the iphone is up to date.

then try to sync apps to your iphone. do other iphone apps sync?
