Hello, I cant get bbm on my ipod x

I find no app titled bbm in the USA App store
The said that bbm was delays for iOS

SInce it is not in the App store I can't check if it is applicable to other than the iPhone. Since the iPod is not a phone it may not be compatible when it is rerelased

Does your ipod touch have the lightning connector or the 30 pin connector.
Lightning connector does not transmit video because it is digital and the KW is analog.
You can buy a convoluted combination of splitters and converters to get around this but it will be expensive and a spaghetti of wiring. If you do have a 30 pin connector, then details for proper setup are on page 106 of your English Manual.

Cant get music downloaded on ipod to computer

i downloaded songs from the itunes app on my ipod and i cant get them on my computer. i transfered my puchases but only the ones i downloaded on the computer showed up.anyone know how i can get them on there?

Cant get iTunes to recognize iPod can't do a restore

After having the iPod Touch4 for one week i can no longer get iTunes to recognize it when i connect it.
1/ The USB cable is fine
2/ I have completed all troubleshooting steps suggested by apple support

4/ I have uninstalled and re-installed the latest iTunes
So, my next step was to do a reset back to the original factory settings (even the ipod is only a week old). When i click on restore in iTunes (because it recognizes the iPod is in recovery mode) i get the message - 'the iPod software update server can not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later.
I have now gone through the troubleshooting section on the apple website with this issue and now can not even restore the iPod.
Can anyone else give me any advice as i can only think i am going to have to end up taking the thing back for a swap/refund which is pretty frustrating when it worked perfectly for a week and then started playing up for no apparent reason.......

You did not specify what Apple troubleshooting you tried. It is easy to miss Apple articles.

What iOS is curently on your iPod (Setting>Genral>About>Version) you need as lest 2.0 for apps but most apps need 3.0 or later.

All songs deleted, and cant get them back onto ipod.

okay, so the other day my ipod all the sudden lost all of its 700 sum songs and all the music in my ipod library got deleted. but its still on my general computer. i have no idea how this happened.
i took my ipod [i pod touch] to best buy, where i bought it 6 months ago, and the geek squad person said that i need to update my software on the ipod and update itunes.geek squad updated my ipod while at best buy, but she told me that i need to update itunes on my computer and i should just be able to get my songs back onto my ipod. when i hooked my ipod up to my computer when i got home, i could not find where to update itunes. and nothing happened to my ipod.
i called bestbuy and re-told them the problem i was having. GS told me to first plug in my ipod to my computer [which i did] then sync the songs back onto my ipod.... that did no good.
then GS proceeded to tell me to just drag and drop the songs i want back onto my ipod, that are on my computer into my music library then re-sync my ipod..... once again this did not work. and my library is not locked so there is no reason as to why this should be happening. the GS person told me that he has never heard of anything like this and that he does not know what to do.
any help?!?

OMG......this just happened to me...except my library is still there. I've tried re-installing itunes, restarting, & everything. It still doesn't recognize my ipod. I updated my iTunes/iPod to the newest version since it keeps asking me everyday and when I did it, it erased all of my songs & apps. I admit, my iPod was jailbroken, so I had apps on it that I'm afraid I won't be able to get back. I avoided updating my iPod because I was scared that it was gonna erase my jailbroken apps off.....but someone told me that it was best to always update regardless. I didn't think it was gonna erase my music though....it was completely full too That's not such a big deal since it's still on my computer. The main prob. is that I can't put it back on. I've tried going back to an older version and it keeps telling me that the newest version is installed and that I'm not allowed to do that. When I try to go to the iTunes tab on my ipod, it doesn't go...the same with the videos & music tabs. The only thing that works on my iPod is Safari & youtube.

I need urgent help with an Ipod.
Only because my boyfriend is on the phone asking me how to set it up.
He's downloaded all the crap he needs to download but he cant sync (or move or whatever you call it) the songs off his computer on to the ipod.

When did you last update iTunes? you might want to try downloading the latest iTunes software. Some of the newer iPods won't agree with the older versions of itunes.

Cant get some videos on ipod because of an error message

on my 60gb ipod i just got 4 xmas i have tried everything i can think of and nothing works. i always get this error message:
"Some of the songs in itunes music libray, including the song("names the music video i am trying to play"), were not copied to the ipod "my ipod" because they cannot be played on this ipod"
Yet is the newest ipod out there it say every where that it can play videos evan inside the ipod i have tried many different videos but yet the same thing happens so can anyone please help me on the problem.

This question doesn't address the real issue, because it's too vague.
If a video file will not sync to the iPod, it's because it does not meet the following criteria:

Simply having an .MP4 extension is not enough for the video file to be compatible. The video file must be within ALL of the limits specified above.
If the video file is not within those limits, it must be converted to a new file which does meet that criteria.
There are numerous software packages available for converting video files.
Most of them have been mentioned in these forums dozens of times.

I cant get access in my ipod folder

i can only edit my ipod from my library...i cant touch inside the ipod, the screen has everything in grey writing and wont let me delete/play songs out of my ipod! I just got a replacement ipod and it hasnt let me touch inside my ipod at all yet. The only way it can be updated is through the library first, i plug in my ipod, it says dont disconnect ipod while updating and then when it is done updating the songs from the library it automatically disconnects my ipod. What do i do?

I cant get movies in my ipod.

I have movies in MP4 format on my PC. When i add them to itunes all is good.
But when i connect my ipod to get them in it doesn´t work. While it sync it shows that movies ar in my ipod but when it finish its shows that they are not

Try using the Create iPod and iPhone Version option in the Advanced tab of iTunes. If that does not work you need a converter computer program such as the free Handbrake program (Google Handbrake video)

I cant get songs onto the ipod nano

ok so ive had this thing since xmas and i had like 235 songs on it.
and it was a 2 gb, and with 235 songs, it was full.
so i thought, well maybe if i just delete some i can put new songs on.
i delete like 50 songs so i can put some on and i didnt know how to get it all back on the nano.
somehow, i accidentally deleted the playlist that had every song in my library from my ipod.
and now i dont have anything on the ipod.
i try and sync it all back on but it says this:
"Songs on the iPod "Matts iPod" cannot be updated because all of the the playlists selected for syncing no long exist"
so i try and make a new playlist, and it STILL wont sync.
oh and i went to "About" on my ipod when it was empty and it said i could have 1.7 GB but it said i only had 1 GB available.
can someone explain this to me?

Use the instructions in this article to add that playlist to the playlists set to be synchronized to the iPod, or change the iPod's synchronization mode.
