Hi Diane,
I imported a new grammy nominees cd {bought CD} no problem then i done the itunes update for mac through the software update function then the next day i bought the 2 adele albums 19 and 21 and neither of these will even play on my drive, however ,my wife has the same macbook ,same version itunes,same settings for importing discs and managed to import them no problem.My drive reads data discs and other music discs and will import other music discs but will not even play never mind import my new discs. I'm so confused!!

Do you have OS x 10.8 Mountain Lion, any earlier OS such as Lion will NOT mirror. It is not an update it is a purchase from the app store.
Third party apps such as airparrot or reflectorapp can help too.

This is usually the result of trying to convert a "muxed" (MPEG1, MPEG2, VOB, some AVI, AVI MJPEG, etc.) source file. QT Pro, QT-like applications, and those that depend on QT tools all suffer this problem. Use an MPEG based third party application to perform your conversions. Many Windows users are using Videora Converter for this purpose. Do a Videora search in this forum for more information.

So it sounds as if you are not getting video from your MacBook Pro to your external TV display via the HDMI cable. I would suggest looking at this article to start with -

Cant get FLV to play white box shows up

I was wondering if someone could help me out, i have tried
EVERYTHING on the forum to try and fix this problem but with no
luck! I upload everything to the ftp site and the video comes up

Cant get audio to play on TV through DVI cord

I'm trying to play videos from my mac pro onto my tv through a DVI cable. The video works fine but audio only comes through computer speakers... How can I play audio through tv?

DVI does not carry audio signals only video. What Macbook Pro do you have? Maybe use your computer's audio out to your TV's audio in.

Cant get sound to play IN headphones

I used to have the problem where I could not get the internal speakers to work on my MB and had the red light ect. Fixed that now I have the opposite problem, I can't get anything to connect to my MB for sound purposes and I get the red light again. I have tried Q-tips some and plugging unplugging many times still no sound from headphones, any ideas?

Cant get garageband to play back.

Hi, The sound I am recording is not playing back for me to hear. My mic is working (I checked it on another computer), The speakers work, and the funny thing is if I go into something my brother recorded with his keyboard a long time ago it plays. But nothing else will. Even the drums that are automaticly put in when you go into "Songwritting" wont play. And I assume that was put in by apple right into the program. Can someone help me???

I bought an audiobook on itunes and I cant get it to play on my ipod shuffle (version 3 or 4)

I bought Bill Bryson's History of Everything, I would like to listen to it while running. I have sync it to the ipod shuffle, it syncs too fast and then doesn't play when I go looking for it, it is not there!

Audiobooks are accessed and selected on the 4th gen shuffle as a "playlist." If you press and hold the VoiceOver button on the shuffle, so that VoiceOver starts going through your playlists, your audiobooks that are synced to the shuffle should be on that list. You can then select it and play it.

Cant get a stream play with sound

i have a lg 7s20 phone dowmloaded Ff..to stream live news wten live stream out of albany ny..it worked for 3 week now i can see video and no sound and a video not found error comes up while playing the video with now sound?..i have done everything that i can think of to try and fix this!..its not the phone its a month old and other streams run and work fine! Its virgin mobile too...please help!

When the video has focus the sound can be adjusted but if you tap outside the video or pan the screen the focus is removed from the video and adjusting the sound of Flash is prevented.
Android has several sound levels. The guaranteed way to change the sound level is to use the Android settings.
* Open the Android Settings
* Tap Sound
* Tap Volumes
* Adjust the Music, video games, & other media volume

I cant get tracks to play in true stereo in the newest version of Itunes.

We use Itunes to run live tracks for our band. We pan click track to the right and the music tracks to the left. In older versions of Itunes, all you had to do was turn off the sound enhancer option and everything ran in true stereo. In the new version, it doesnt work. Everything still bleeds over.
Does anyone have a solution?
Can apple fix this?
