If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Write down what it says about "version"and report that here. Now continue to "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).

The main issue might be having too little RAM. Most computers run newer systems more smoothly with more RAM than Apple says is a "minimum" for running that system version
After installing 10.6.3 run the updater to 10.6.8, then upgrade iTunes.

The new system should install on top of the old one. That said, things have been known to go wrong and it makes sense to do a backup before installing the new system. In fact you seem to care about your files and things so you need to always have a backup because one day you will wake up and you hard drive will be dead and everrything on it gone. Buy an external hard drive and start using Time Machine or something to back up. The other risk is when you install the new iTunes. It doesn't happen frequently given the millions of users but there are daily posts here from people who for some reason the installation wiped out their whole library. If you have a backup then there's nothing to worry about.
This is well within what many people can do at home. It's a matter of inserting an optical disc and clicking you way through menus.

Cant get email with Entourage (office 2004)

All of a sudden I cant access email thru either gmail or att in Entourage. I believe my computer is so old it cant be updated to later versions of Office. Is there any other way to correct/troubleshoot this without reinstalling? I have no idea where my disks are since I moved. Using OS X Tiger 1o..4.11. Help! I know this isnt really a Mac question, but would really be grateful for any ideas.

I have Office:Mac 2008 nicely running on a G4 tower with 10.4.11 from 2004, and Entourage works fine. 2008 was the last of the Office version the support PowerPC Macs. We also have been able to use the much older older Office X on an older eMac and, again, Entourage works fine. So I don't think it's a version issue with Entourage.
Can you access either account through your browser? That's important to check that the accounts are active and your ISP is doing its job.

Cant get emails on my torch 9800 after update

I received notification to do a system update so i did to vs 6.0.0.3155, now i cang get emails, i have tried pulling the battery and restarting, i have tried going to set up and email and then it freezes and wont do anything. I have tried deleting email account from the phone completely and restarting the phone and tring to go through set up once again and the same thing it freezes up. also they touch pad is now not working properly as well as its working slowly

Cant Get Email To Work on 5800

Basically i want to link up with either my hotmail, gmail or college accounts. I spent all day yesterday trying to configure the settings correctly. I even downloaded from the nokia site correct servers for hotmail yet it still wont work.
I have a Nokia 5800 with an orange Sim, but to save cost i am connecting through my home Wifi to retrieve emails, but i cant seem to get it to work.
Is there a step by step process anyone can lead me through because i have looked around and there are none specific for orange.

Hi there
The settings for Hotmail will be POP settings. You only get access to POP based Hotmail when you subscribe to Hotmail Plus. To get your Hotmail e-mails onto your device without subscribing the easiest thing to do is to download the Windows Live Messenger App and install it on your device from the downloads menu. You can then set-up your account within the program and a Hotmail mailbox will appear under messaging where you can synchronise your e-mails.
Gmail automatically gives you access to POP/IMAP but you need to activate it on the Gmail site. Once logged in go to Settings, mail and forwarding and then select to enable POP. Once this is done you can set-up the mailbox with these details:
Incoming server: pop.gmail.com with SSL
outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com with SSL
Username: [email protected]
Password: *********
