Do the photos display correctly in the media browser when the mail library ("iPhoto") heading is selected? If so, you could simply add the photos from the library rather than the specific album. Alternately, if you have to select your photos from an "album," you could try reselecting the photos in the main library in the iPhoto application and create a different album to see if all photos then show up in the secondary album in the iMovie media browser.
If the "missing" photos do not show up under the main "iPhoto" heading in the iMovie media browser and do not show up in the main library in the iPhoto application, then the files may be corrupted. In this case, simply re-import the original files if possible. You could also try to force a rebuilding of the thumbnail cache, but this is usually done automatically when the application itself detects inefficiencies in thumbnail access or when the application is updated. In any case, there does not appear to be a manual menu option to do this arbitrarily when the user so desires. I suppose you could try to locate and delete the cache manually and hope this forces an automatic rebuild the next time the iPhoto application is opened but I am personally not that familiar with the package structure to advise such action at this time. You might check the iPhoto forum and see if anyone can help you further in this area of endeavor.

Getting images to show in Apex that are stored in the DB
I'm trying to get an image to show in html code or javascript that I store in the DB. It shows in an IR but I can't get it to show in a html <img> tag.
My DB is an oracle XE 11 DB and I'm using Apex 4.
This is my table:

I gave the following grants in my Shema:

CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM my_image_display FOR schema1.my_image_display;
I created a html region and added the following code:
<img src="#OWNER#.my_image_display?p_image_id=2"/>
2 ofc being the id of one of the images.
Yet when I load the page the image won't show. I do get a little icon when I right click it and check the code I just see:

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm also open for suggestions on other ways to do this..

IPhoto doesn't display all photos that are in Masters
Hey guys, so basically my problem is that my last two imports using my Nikon point-and-shoot have not appeared in iPhoto 11.2.3. The imports were apparently successful but the photos went only into Masters (within the iPhoto Library file) and I cannot see the two latest Events in iPhoto.
I've just reinstalled OS X Lion 10.7.3 and iLife 11 and have fully updated both using Software Update. I've added the Library (10,000 photos) back into Pictures and fired up iPhoto to no avail. I have previously tried rebuilding the iPhoto Library - even checking all the options and waiting an hour or so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kieran.Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. -

hello i just came back from the apple store and they had to restore my phone and i just downloaded all my apps and music back but my photos that are on icloud i only got 80 out of 768 back. what do i do to get all of them back?
If you tried to restore to your iCloud backup and your photos didn't fully restore, first go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and make sure it isn't still in the process of restoring.
If the restore is complete and all your photos weren't restored, all you can do is try restoring the backup again. You might try the solution posted by ezjules in this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. This involves opening the photos app after the phone restarts and you provide the passwords for your Apple IDs, then leaving it open for the remainder of the restore process. -

If you just turned photo stream on, it's likely that the missing 649 photos are older than 30 days and thus are no longer in icloud to stream to your device.
Did you turn photo stream off and back on, or sign out of your iCloud account, then sign back in? -
my iphone has calendar history for 10 years. my icloud only shows about 6-8 weeks back. how can i get icloud to show all the calendar events in the past that are on iphone?
I encountered a similar problem when finally (and with much regret) I was obliged to migrate my MobileMe to iCloud last month.
Many years of iCal history vanished without trace during this automated transition by Apple and iCloud then kindly synched the resulting vacuum back to iCal on my Mac.
Fortunately, iCloud wasn’t able to decimate iCal on my other Macs because (1) they are still running Snow and (2) I had switched them off as a precaution. Good job I did.
My solution was to export my iCal data on one of those other Macs to a backup file – then I imported that backup file into my Lion-updated Mac’s iCal. That restored all the iCloud-deleted iCal data back on to my Mac and this was promptly synched automatically to my Calendar on iCloud. So now it’s all there and showing.
Perhaps you could do something similar? In the meantime, be very careful not to let iCloud’s amnesia get synched to your iPhone (and other devices).
Experience has taught me never to trust an “upgrade” until it is proven to be working correctly and always to keep in reserve another Mac with a properly-functioning system and all synching to it switched off... -

Did you purchase them on your iPad with the same Apple ID that you are using for iTunes on your iPhone and that iTunes on your Mac is sign into?

Faces is a great way to locate all photos where someone's face appears. But what about photos that the person is in, but their face is not (e.g., the photo was taken from behind the person)? What's the best way to tag photos so that I'll be able to have all photos that contain Person X together, whether their face is in the photo or not? (Note: I know I could use Faces to add a face to the back of someone's head - that would get that picture to appear in Faces for that person, but would likely mess up the face recognition for that person).
My current thought is to use keywords to tag those photos with the names of people who appear in photos without their face showing. I could then create a Smart Album that includes all photos that contain a Face or Keyword for Person X. Is there a better way to accomplish this?(Note: I know I could use Faces to add a face to the back of someone's head - that would get that picture to appear in Faces for that person, but would likely mess up the face recognition for that person).
That will not mess up the face recognition. iPhoto will only use the faces that have been automatically found by iPhoto to learn the parameters for the recognition of the person. So you can include any part of the person to get the photot in the Faces stack on the cork board.

Cant get icloud to show in Outlook 2010 . it is added in.
I have just moved onto a new computer,PC , installed Office 2010 and managed to get mail accounts sorted but not contacts or calender appointments. Was hoping to grab these from Icloud, but II cant get it to show in Outlook. I have downloaded the addin, and that shows in 'addins' but not available in outlook itsel. Help!

You could also try to add the instance "movie" to your path. I've seen that a couple of times and also in an answer from Adobe.

In regards to redoing the project in CP3 you could actually copy/paste the slides from CP4 to CP3. I just had to do that with a big project we created in CP4 but for some weird reason all the embedded animations and sounds played on the first slide of the project when we published it. There was no way we could fix it (we tried all possible solutions) so we had to revert back to CP3. Fortunately it's possible to copy & paste slides directly from CP4 and into CP3. If you have used any CP4 specific solutions they won't work but otherwise you should be fine. The only think we lost in the copy / paste process was the timing of buttons/click boxes so we needed to redo those. Still it was far better than having to create the entire project from scratch in CP3.

IPhoto '08 shows all photos, but can't locate images in Finder
I just bought a MacBook and did an "Import to Library" from my backup external drive. All photos now appear in iPhoto including some that I just imported last night from my camera. The only problem is, I can't find the folder that actually contains all of the pictures. When I click on "Pictures" in my home folder then the iPhoto icon, iPhoto opens. Where is the folder with the actual images?

The photos are in the iPhoto LIbrary package in the Pictures file. SeeTD's treatis on file access. It describes three ways to access the image files.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -

Does your ipod touch have the lightning connector or the 30 pin connector.
Lightning connector does not transmit video because it is digital and the KW is analog.
You can buy a convoluted combination of splitters and converters to get around this but it will be expensive and a spaghetti of wiring. If you do have a 30 pin connector, then details for proper setup are on page 106 of your English Manual. -

Depends -what other clues? What recently changed? Do you have a good current backup? best guess is to Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - and repair the database - if that does not resolve things rebuild your iPhoto library database
