Okay. That's got the most common (current) possibility ruled out.
There's a lot of stuff that might be on the table still, though.

I get the message Itunes has stopped working and Windows is closing the program.
That message is usually a sign that you tried to roll back to an earlier build of iTunes, but occasionally I've seen it connected to a new upgrade. This technique should fix things.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

My iTunes keeps crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, including recreating the entire database, and it is still doing it. I recently upgraded to 10.5. Any ideas? I am running Windows 7 on a new, decent, laptop. The music is on the laptop's hard drive. There is plenty of hard drive space left.
iTunes starts fine, and I can do stuff, then within a minute or two or three it gives me an error message pop-up.The error message says:

The file that I'm have issues with in itunes is the file called iTunes Libary.itl.
So just to get itunes to open I had to delete that file and then sync all of my music back into itunesday, is there anyway so I do not have to keep doing that? -

My itunes won't work on my Windows 7 anymore. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled SEVERAL times, but to no avail. It consistantly freezes, won't open or doesn't work correctly. The only way I can get it to close anymore is to go to the task manager and 'end process' itunes. I do get an error at the beginning saying " the registry settings used by the itunes drivers for importing and burning CD's and DVD's are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please re-install itunes." I have searched the internet for possible fixes to no avail. Please help...anyone!
Lets see whether this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working? -
I am usually pretty good in solving my own problems, but this is one is taking me back. My computer and itunes will not reconize my ipod. Itunes is telling me that I need to restore it factory settings. When I try to dwnloads and extracts then it stops or freezes and I get error codes 42408 or ? error 14. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything. I've even had support send me hyperlinks to remove old apple & itunes programs. Can anyone assist me? the only way I knew this spot was here is because the cursor is blinking. Only see 2 lines above here. Otherwise I can't see it. This is the same with everything since I installed the new version of Foxfire. I tried to uninstall and reinstall several times and get the same result. I will have to start using another browser but don't want to since I have used Foxfire for years. I don't have this problem on my desktop where I haven't installed the new version.

Is anyone else having issues with the most recent Facebook app update? I updated it on my iPad 2 yesterday, now it will not open app at all. I just started having this yesterday. It's only happened twice, but it's annoying. My wife texted me that she was coming home last night, and it showed up immediately on my iPod Touch but not my iPhone. I opened my iPhone and it soon updated. Worked fine after that. Then just a moment ago today my wife texted me and the same thing happened. I heard my iMac and iPod Touch receive the message but it didn't display on my phone until I opened the phone and it showed up again a little bit thereafter. I suppose I'll send Apple some feedback on this issue.
