Cant get link aggregation working on srw2048

Hello
We are trying to setup link aggregation between 2 nodes in our cluster. They are 64 bit nodes running Opensuse 11.1 and are connected by Gigabit Ethernet. We have an srw2048 switch.
The problem is we are not able to see any performance improvement in network bandwidth after the configuration. We seem to have configured the nodes correctly: ifconfig shows something like this on both nodes, where eth4, eth5 are slaves to bond0 :

Starting the network services shows
bond0          bond0     enslaved interface: eth5     bond0     enslaved interface: eth4     bond0     (DHCP) . . IP/Netmask: '192.168.1.198' / '255.255.255.0'
So it seems that the client side configuration is correct. The bond has been configured with the default mode balance-rr.
On the switch side, we have grouped the right ports to form LAG groups and have checked LACP on them. Running some trusted TCP benchmarks yields the same results as the original configuration without link aggregation.
I feel we are missing some configuration on the switch side.
Can anybody point out what we are doing wrong?

If you think this has been a mis-configuration on the switch side, please try to reset the switch and then re-configure it again. You may also seek assistance with a Cisco/Linksys tech support so that they can guide you step by step at real time.

Here's an answer from the net:
Go to Settings/Mail,contacts,calendars/Add account choose other, choose Add Mail Account. Fill in name, email address, password and description on the screen that comes up. Save those.
One the next screen tat comes up click om POP in the first line then fil in the host name as
spop.west.cox.net or spop.east.cox.net or the one to go with your region.
Note that is not a misprint, that is spop (secure pop)
Fill in your username one more time (the password should have carried over from previously)
Fill in your outgoing mail server like smtp.west.cox.net (change for your region) and click Save.
When all the settings are verified a checkmark will appear next to them all and you are good to go.
If it says something like "can't connect via SSL would you like to ..." then you probably missed the step about selecting POP on the second screen and are trying IMAP so go back and try over with POP. Or perhaps mistyped soemthing.
Once everything is working you can go back into the settings and see that it has automatically connected on port 995 and that SSL is on
Note that you probably won't be able to send email from a wifi in a cafe or similar as cox won't let you connect to their smtp from outside their network.
I haven't tried receiving mail from a non cox connected wifi yet but I suspect it will work just fine. Anyway these settings work for me using my ipod to my home wifi router connected to cox.
I could not find a definitive guide when I searched so I hope this helps other folks trying to configure this.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)

I made a terrible mistake today and moved all my files from my harddisk to my external harddisk. I had to reinstall everything but I cant get frontrow to work properly. I cant find it on my external harddisk either.

Can you describe your problem in a bit more detail? Why did you decide to move your files? What files did you move? What method did you use to move them? Did you move them over completely by way of backing up and then erased your disk prior to moving them back?

i havent added anything to the query apart from the date/time

but now I cant get nginx to work from the /opt/nginx location. I am getting

bash: nginx: command not found
If I try with "pacman Ql nginx "
ruby-2.0.0-p481 [ytsejam@ytsejam ~]$ pacman -Ql nginx
error: package 'nginx' was not found
but I can enter the directory of /opt/nginx by using cd command.
can anyone help me ?

Try these in order:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
     Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
     COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
     after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
     Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Cant get Information to Work..Please help

All has been well with with I photo. I have many hundreds of photos that I have labeled. Now I cant get the information to show for each photo. It is there if I look at all the photos but when I double click on one photo it isn't coming up. I have tried the blue button? Please help it is a lot to lose? Maybe related the photos in the library are sorted into date folders not source folders?
If I bought iLife 08 would it all come good?

Hp touchsmart, win7, cant get tv tuner working...

I recently upgraded to windows 7 (32-bit) from vista (32-bit) and cannot get my tv tuner working for the life of me.
I have an hp touchsmart iq517jp.......
I'm not exactly sure which tv tuner is in my computer. It's difficult finding information for this specific model because it seems it's an iq500 model that has been tweaked here in japan before being sold.
I have tried installing Pixela, Aver, and Hauppage drivers. The Pixela one is the only one that actually installs properly, but windows media player says the capture card can't be found.
I tried installing StationTV, the software that came installed on the computer in windows vista, but it also says it cant find a capture card and therefore cancels the installation.
Has anyone else had and solved this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of wasting my little free time after work rippin my hair out.

Your system is with Pixela TV Tuner card. They did not release Windows 7 compatible drivers for this tuner. Alternately you can install Windows Vista drivers in Compatibility mode and get the tuner working.
