You can redownload iTunes purchases by:

For other music you need to get them from where you got them before.

As long as you don't mind doing a little post publish editing of your .js files, it's fairly easy to do. You will find them in this path on your iDisk, using the Go menu in Finder:
Go/iDisk/MyiDisk/Sites/iWeb/Nameofsitefolder/Page_filesFolder/Page.js
Open the .js files for that particular page on your iDisk with any text editor (I like Taco, and it's free) and make the following changes to the script code that controls your movie: (you will find the movie code near the top of the page in the .js file)
Change autoplay="false" to autoplay="true"
Change loop="false" to loop="true"
Changing controller value="true" to controller value="false" will remove the controller from the page entirely. Make these changes in both sets of tags, (object and embed).
Make the changes and just "Save". Clear your browser cache and you should see the changes take effect immediately. Bear in mind you will have to make this modification each time you republish your site. You can also save this modified .js file and replace the republished file with it, as long as no other changes were made to the page in iWeb.

Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola.
If it's a Mac, try Senuti or Music Rescue.

No, I haven't figured it out. And no one from Apple has contacted me to help. Very frustrating. Sure makes me want to not buy music on iTunes and just buy CD's.

Getting to song to play ONLY on one playlist.

Is there any way that I can get a song to play ONLY on a certain playlist, and somehow exclude it from the main list of songs?
Me and my girlfriend have a very wide disparity in music tastes, and we share an iPod together. Is there a way that I could make it so that when I put a song on the iPod and she wants to shuffle songs, that mine wont get thrown into the mix?
Also, is it possible to shuffle song play while playing only from a playlist?

Yes, you could do the exclude from shuffle, but that would exclude it from everyone's shuffle that uses the computer (unless you manually do it to your iPod library only)
The easiest thing to do would be to do the grouping as I listed, then make a Smart Playlist that you use as the main. The only thing you have the smartlist do is exclude those songs which you label.
Smartlists are shuffleable as well.
This way you just label the ones YOU don't want played, set a rule 1 time on the playlist (set it to live update) and everytime a new song is added that you don't want you add it to the grouping. And your playlist automatically updates!

I can't get a song to play on the title screen of IDVD. Help! The song is there, but won't play in preview. I have done myriads of movies on IDVD, and know how to put a song onto the title screen. The volume is up, etc. but no song will go on.

My 7th gen nano ipod is playing everything super-slowly! How do I get the songs to play normally?

My iPod 7th gen nano is playing songs very slowly. I have reset it and that did not help. In podcasts, when I tap the top, it says "1x" I reset my settings, and that did not help.
Does anyone know how to get the songs to play at their normal speed?

Are you setting the Shuffle Albums setting here:
Settings>Shuffle>Albums
If you have that last setting = Songs, then it is going to shuffle your songs. If you have it set to Albums, then it should shuffle the Albums but play the songs within the albums in order.

Presuming they're on your computer, right click on them and then follow the prompts to locate hte file on your computer.

I ordered several downloads on iTunes and one of the song says I authorized on 5 computers and that is false. How do you get the song to play?

Cant get a song gift that a friend sent me.... not a gift card

my friend sent me a song as a gift and now i cant get it. i haveno clue how to redeem that. its not a gift card issue.

All songs i have discovered are greyed out and a complete album I have bought will NOT fully download and stops just short of the complete download then fails .
