Cant get rid of a notification window

I installed Maverick on my computer and now I have a window on the screen that wont go away. It says, In order to continue installation, please close the following application. ( itunes )

I had this same issue. If force quitting worked for you that's great, but I tried to force quit through terminal, and through activity monitor. Neither worked.
I found out that the "In order to continue installation..." alert window was actually caused by a second user I have set up on my MacBook Pro. I logged into the other user and for some reason iTunes was open and running and had an alert screen that stated I needed to update to the latest version of iTunes. So I opened the App Store (in the second user) and it stated that all apps were up to date. So, I quit the App Store, then clicked on iTunes again and the alert screen telling me to update was gone. I simply quit iTunes and switched back to my user. The "In order to continue installation..." window was gone.

Upgrade to itunes 8.1 now I cant get rid of the info window

I just upgraded this morning and have 8.1 I too wish I had never bothered. WHen I click on the info icon the info window will not disappear. I have to close and reboot the software to get rid. That's all so far but looking at the discussions I may find many more problems. As another person said are we joining Microsoft? I have never had a problem with apple or itunes in my years of using your software. Support is extremely difficult to find.
What do I do down load the previous software will this be a simple option I do not want to lose any of my music or set up?

I just had help from another thread. Go to System - change resolution for display. re-open and the podcast description window has a close button yeah. You can then go back and put the resolution back to where it was an so far all is well.

Cannot get rid of critical notification to "Get a developer license" for Windows store and phone apps

I have no intention of developing such apps so I'm not going to get a license for them. How do I get rid of this notification?

i tried tinyumbrella (and another similar software) to exit recovery but it only remains on the apple logo stuck there. please is there anything else i can do? i've contacted apple and they have told me the only choice i have is to restore and lose all my data.

First I would try to hold down the power and the home button for about 15sec, but at least as long as the iPhone restarts, if it is still stuck or still in recovery mode then I can suggest you the tool "Wondershare Dr. Fone for iOS", it is both a Windows and Mac tool and I just used it today to get my iPad out of the Recovery mode.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.

That's related since the process is attempting to load your Safari bookmarks from iCloud, and is crashing for some reason.
Try this:
Select the entire line that follows (triple-click to select it), then control-click, and from the contextual menu that appears, select Services > Reveal in Finder:

Drag that entire folder to the Desktop.
Quit Safari.
Attempt to open iCloud Preferences again. If it opens de-select Safari.

You cannot stop it from popping up.
it will continue every few minutes until its installed.
just keep using the back button near right side of home button.

And, what is your punjabidraw class?
Save the currend page reference in a variable called, say, curPage, then do
curPage.dispose();in the event handler for the button.

1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your

2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the MDI window at run time?
I could achieve this by setting the data window to be a dialog
window, and set the set_window_property(forms_mdi_window,
window_state, minimize). Is there a better way to do than
that?

Cant get rid of waiting symbols

Hi guys,
I have the following problem re an Ipad 2;
I've downloaded two apps from the apps store onto my computer and tried to download them to the Ipad;
Now I have two waiting symbols I cant get rid of;
I've tried to delete them from the computer and resyncing..no luck
I've tried to delete from Ipad but there is no X after the wiggle;
I've tried to turn off and on the Ipad....no luck;
I've tried holding down the home button and on/off button until the apple symbol appears.....no luck
Does anyone have any suggetstions please.

it wont go away no matter if you register or say dont remind me again, i've tried uninstalling creative but its still there, and i cant get rid of the bit that i need to!!? is there a way to completely wipe anything to do with creative off your computer in one go, cos currently i can only find the programmes in parts
