Cant get windows to load

I have a Pm8Pm motherboard and I cant seem to get windows to load. It will go through about half way and give me the blue screen of death. Any ideas???????

Uninstall iTunes and the iPod software updater in Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel, if any, and try installing them again. Recommend to download the latest versions from the Apple site instead of using the programs from the CD.

I am having the same issues with watching Netflix on my Mac. It started after I downloaded the new updates for Safari. When I try to watch a movie it tells me "plug-in failed". I have downloaded every plug that I should need and it still does not work. I know it is not Netflix because it tells me that everything is fine and it works on my Wii.

Cant get library to load after transfer from PC

Ok so I copied my consolodated library to my mac including the library and XML file. I get the playlists loaded, but none of my music will load. No matter how many times I load the library it will not put my music on. GRR!

How did you transfer the library and library files from your PC to the MacBook?
The song locations are stored in the 'iTunes Library(.itl) file (more info about the library files here).
If you just copied it to the MacBook, iTunes will still look for the path of each song on your PC.
There are a few ways to correctly move the library.
If you have a large capacity iPod, use the instructions in this article:
How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
If you have a FAT32 formatted external HD, use these instructions:
iTunes: Moving your iTunes Music folder.
First move your library from PC to external.
Connect the drive to the MacBook and copy the 'iTunes Library(.itl)' file to the proper location on your MacBook (./Users/YourUsername/Music/iTunes).
Then move your music from the external drive to the MacBook.
Then there is another method by changing the paths in the 'iTunes Music Library.xml' file and using it as an import source, but this will not retain all information. I can explain it if you can't use one of the two previous methods.

Cant get windows to install in RAID

Hi,
I am using a MSI neo3 p45 Express. First i create a RAID set, Then load driver with floopy using f6. everything goes great till i get to the part when it says windows XPSP2 is installing, then BSOD. I then go back , delete he RAID, and set controller to IDE, xp works fine to where it sees both drives and asks me where i want to install. Ive tried everything please help??

From looking at your code there are two problems... the first is that you have a security exception being thrown because you are attempting to load a file locally with insufficient privileges to do so. This is because Applets have additional security levied on them so they don't say, in this circumstance steal a file off the loaded machine and send it back to the server that delivered them.
If you want to get your applet to load a local file (I don't think that is what you're asking here) then you have to digitally sign your applet and allow the user to decide if they want to be allow it to load a local file.
Nutshell is that you need to understand that the URL returned from getDocumentBase() in an applet is going to be from the Jar file you send the applet with or the URL you served the applet from. This is a bit of debugging code to show you what you are looking at and hopefully explain anything ambiguous I may have stated.

Cant get ibook to load

hi all i have a big problam i have an ibook g4
it used to work fine then one day a cd got stuck in it and after that it wont load up the os.i tried to reset user account and i get past the language screen ie select contry then it hangs up it wont get to the login screen when i do a cmd v on boot it says login window crashed and then just goes into a continuaous loop doing this over and over again i dont have the main install disk osx but did buy snow leapord as was a lot cheaper and was hoping i could boot from this to get me into the os and sort it out....please can anyone help me with this problam

thxs for that it still dosent load i tried resetting everything includeing admin password i get to the language select screen and select english then it come up with starting os x a blue bar starts going across about an inch then the screen goes blue and flashes and thats as far as it goes when i do the apple key and v it says login screen crash and reapeats over and over again....i tried what you said it takes longer to get to that stage but still the same thing is there a way of chooseing what start up items can load or do 1 thing at a time to find out what is causing the prob im very new to macs

Cant get videos to load

Cleaned cache using ccleaner and delted too many cookies. I am running windows 7 home premium 64 bit. Videos on Cnn.com show ads but no video news content. BBC games do not open. Ads and games on addictinggames.com do not appear. Happens with both IE9 and FF19.0. No problem with Youtube. Installed latest from Flash. IE9 keeps asking me to install Flash but does not recognize after flash is installed.

I am having the exact same issue - CNN.com videos will not load after the advertisments. I don't think my issue is caused by cookie deletion. I believe I started having this issue after I reset my global flash settings. I am wondering if removing the audio and video licenses caused the problem, although I didn't think I had any licenses on my computer to worry about losing.
I'm runing:
I7 MacBook Pro, Mountain Lion 10.8.2, Safari 6.0.2, Flash Plug-in version 11.6.602.171
Really hoping someone out there knows how to resolve this.

STILL cant get Windows 7 to connect to Magic Mouse

Firstly, pardon my ignorance. I am new to Macs and have been having a rough time adjusting.
My problem is: I have a dual partition (Mac OSX and Windows 7). I am having an unbelievably hard time trying to connect the Magic Mouse in Windows 7. I have tried installing the Mac OSX Bootcamp drivers etc. I have also followed the article that says to boot in OSX first and then unpair-repair your mouse. (Which I am still a bit confused as to how to do)
Anywho, I am not sure what else to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have checked Device Manager and the Apple "driver" is definitely present.

The Magic Mouse is not supported by Windows. If you get it to work, it's functionality will likely be hampered by it's lack of official support and official drivers, etc. Any drivers that are being made available are non-official and likely unsupported.
Note the system requirements from Apple's site on the device:
System Requirements
* Mac computer with Bluetooth wireless technology
* Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0* or Mac OS X v10.6.1 or later with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0
* Existing keyboard and mouse for setup

Please Help: Cant' get Windows computer to see network printer

I have my printer shared on our network directly into the airport. All of the Macs can use it no problem, but when we try to get a Windows computer to access it, we're having no luck.
I followed these direction I found on Macworld:
AirPort printer sharing isn’t restricted to Macs: Windows PCs can also use an Air-Port print server. To set this up, you’ll need the AirPort’s IP number. (By default, it’s at 10.0.1.1.) With the PC attached to the AirPort wireless network, open the Add Printer wizard in Printers and Faxes. Following the steps in the wizard, create a local printer, deselecting the Automatically Configure option. Next, click to create a new Standard TCP/IP Port, and enter your AirPort’s IP number in the IP number field. If the IP number is 10.0.1.1, the queue name should automatically fill in as IP_10.0.1.1. In the next screen, select Standard as the device type, and then specify Hewlett Packard Jet Direct. Finally, click on Finish, and then select your printer make and model from the list of available drivers.
but had no luck as well.

I fixed the problem. I coudln't get the Windows machine to find it on the network unless it was actually plugged into the USB port of the Airport Extreme.

I have Ipod nano second generation cant get it to load up my music into cloud which I have loaded on via CD..

Hi I have an iPod Nano second generation I have just purchased cloud and the songs and albums that I purchased from Apple have loaded from my ipod. A littlke while ago I had a hard disc failer so had to replace it. I have permissioned my lap top for apple but also seem to have problems loading the data from my iPod to my lap top. excuse spelling feeling rather frustrated.

Have you set the iMac to Share Internet?
Make sure all of the sharing you will need is turned on in the iMac, file sharing if you want that, etc.

[Solved] Cant get fglrx to load after an overdue pacman -Syu

I tried to launch steam tonight after doing a long overdue pacman -Syu yesterday, and it gave an error about GL. Upon closer inspection, no GL apps will run, giving similar errors:
$ glxgears

Here's what I've been able to track down:
The fglrx module isnt loading. When I try to load it manually:
$ sudo modprobe fglrx

I'm using the unofficial pacman repo from Vi0l0, so I also tried his catalyst-hook package, and the catalyst and catalyst-hook packages from AUR, running catalyst_build_module all and rebooting a couple times, but with no success. (his repos seem to have newer versions of the packages anyways)
Any idea what the root of the problem might be, or what I should try next?

Ok, so I'm gonna go ahead and answer my own question! (This is why I dont usually post in forums!)
I installed catalyst-test from AUR. Everything is fine now.
Guess I didnt see that the first time looking through the older forum posts.
