Cant Hold and Place Another Call on BB 8120 pls Help

Dear All,
I have a BB pearl 8120 and i noticed that when ever i make a call, place it on hold and then simultaneuosly make another call, i dont hear it ring and cant seem to connect with my new caller while it shows me connected on the screen.In actual fact it actually rings at the other end and its actually being picked while he or she cant hear me.
This also happens when i place calls on conference, i notice that im able to connect the parties involved but wont be able participate in the conference myself.
Can anybody pls help?

I am facing the same problem with my Blackberry Pearl 8120 mobile.
I hope RIM will resolve this in the next software update for mobile phone.
I found one workaround for this. Call the second person, put them into a conference at this time they can talk to each other. Now press menu and hold the call then resume the call. Mostly you will be in proper conference (all three).
I also hope the experts in the forum suggests better solution

Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - if you would like help then you will need to provide more information than 'can't import' e.g. how are trying to sync content and what happens when you do it ?
You have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer, and your phone appears in it when it's connected to your computer ? If not then see if this troubleshooting page helps : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
You should be able to sync music and films/TV programmes by selecting your phone on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via control-S on a PC) and then using the tabs on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync your content

It's not an Apple issue and Apple has nothing to do with it.
The only way to buy an iPhone officially refurbished by Apple is to buy it from an Apple store or via Apple's website.
Refurbished iPhones sold via other retailers are not refurbished by Apple.
Sounds like Wireless Wave did all they could... they refunded your money.
Your only issue is with them. Stop getting all worked up over it.

On phone and get another call

When I was talking to my Sister I got another call and I pressed answer and hold call but when I tried to go back to her call she was gone. How do I answer a call and put the one I am on hold? I know I am doing something wrong

Same thing here---2 days into IPhone and problems:
1. When I am on Skype and a call comes in--just the fact that someone is calling me cuts off my Skype call!
2. People can't hear me sometimes--and volume is on max.
3. When I plug in my earpiece my speaker doesn't work--so using it with driving is not happening!
4. when I went to the store they want a $35 RESTOCKING FEE---hey I SPECIFICALLY asked about SKYPE!!!
5. When you take a picture you can upload to "Tweet", Email--attach to contact use a s wallpaper and print--BUT YOU CAN'T UPLOAD TO THE LARGEST NETWORKING SYSTEM IN THE WORLD------NO FACEBOOK!! Phone contacts are alphabetized--but when you create a "favorite contact" list---I have about 32 in my favorites---about 250 phone numbers stored--you can't alphabetize your favorites--so you have to look at EACH one to get to who you want---better to leave them in regular contacts---also the alphabet at the side is so tiny when you on it it will take you directly to calling a person instead of the names in that letters vicinity for you to pick from.

I am logged into Icloud on both devices. There is plenty of storage. My Iphone5 has never backed up automatically or manually. It is plugged in and on Wifi. The message is always backup did not complete. My new ipad backed up once on 10/29/12 and does exactly the same thing as my phone. If you start the backup manually it stops after 10-20 minutes and says did not complete back up. I have made sure my login password is the same on both devices....I was bumped up a level last night on Apple Support call and she could not figure it out. We have another call tonight. So far I have no backup of my contacts and do not know what the issue is.

Yes, we are talking about FCP X...this is the thing:
I worked on a project a few days ago and went to share - export movie.
Today, i opened the FCP again, to make some changes, and when i enter to the project, it shows me as one big clip.....i dont see it says compound clip....and i tried anyways pressing break appart clips...but nothing....could it be that i made it compound before exporting it..? if so how can i recover the un-compound version >?
I tried to import the saved .mov file, but it opens the same....as one long clip...

On flight right now and laptops just died... Pls help

I am on a flight right now and was in the middle of watching a tv show in iTunes. Then all of a sudden it froze on me. I put the screen down and waited a few mins. Nothing happened. Then I restarted it by holding the power button down. As it started to restart the only screen that came up was the white screen with the apple logo on, then the logo flickered between that and a circle with a line through it. Pls help I have a long flight ahead of me!!

It looks to me like my HD has died.
Sounds like that's a good possibility. It may be a long flight.
One thing you might try while you're on the plane, just in case that's not it: try to start up in Single User Mode and run fsck:

I could previously open my itunes program on my computer. Not now as when it asks, Do you want to allow this program to make changes to your computer and I select, Yes, it shuts down. I have removed and re-installed itunes, checked firewall. Pls help

When I select itunes a dialogue box opens with question - "Do you want to allow this program to make changes to your computer" When I select YES, it just shuts down. I have removed and reinstalled itunes. have checked firewall and spent hours trying to fix. Please help.

A possible cause of this error is that Firefox is set to run as Administrator.
Check that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
* Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
* "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

Cant get c-media to work on fressh install pls help!!

Hello all,
I just reformatted my machine with win2k.
Everything has worked fine before no issues.
Since the reformat I am unable to load drivers for the onboard c-media sound chip.
It goes throught the install process and at the end says "invalid data type" for driver, install failed.
I have tried resetting bios via the jumper, no fix there.
It worked fine until I reformatted the PC and reinstalled win2000.
I reload the OS every 4 months or so and has never been an issue. Any help please ?

Just a few thoughts:
- make sure you have c-media enabled in your bios, I know it sounds stupid, but go to bios and check,
-if your system has recognized the card, try remove it from hardware list, and let the system find it again, and then install software,
-try newer version of c-media drivers,
-if nothing works and nobody comes up with a better idea you can reinstal wink2, maybe the next install will by a luckier one
