Cant install Illustrator cc on mac

Hi I cant seem to get Illustrator to download, every other Apps download and install except illustrator, can any one help Please!

there is no other illustrator on system, this is on a fresh install, my screen shot is in the attachment thanks.

but when i have done this my serial number for lightroom 2 wont work for this one, how do i get a new serial number or do i have to buy it?? if so is there no other way so i dont have to spend?? thanks

Cannot Install Illustrator CS5.5 - Mac Lion

I bought CS5.5 Production Premium and have tried unsuccessfully to install it about a dozen times now. After searching the forums I've tried a wide variety of things to get the install to work, but no matter what, when the installation is complete, Illustrator hasn't been installed. The errors I get depend on the actions I've taken before the install. I've tried uninstalls, repairing permissions, deleting folders, installing in safe mode, installing Illustrator separately... nothing has been successful.
I'm on a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM running Lion 10.7.1 (Installing off of disks)

Try this solution and let me know if it works.
Open on Finder.
Click on Go Menu > Go To Folder.
Type in /Library/ hit Return.
Find the folder ColorSync.
Inside ColorSync folder find and delete the folder named Recommended.
Once the Recommended folder is deleted try to install the software.

You may try to restart the Creative Cloud application by quitting and relaunching it.
Have you installed the Application Manager?
It should work with 10.7.5.

Cant install Illustrator cs4 on mavericks 10.9?

hey everyone,
recently got a new macbook, running mavericks 10.9, went to install my old stuff from the last macbook and everything works fine except illustrator. i re-downloaded illustrator to try it again and when i get to the set up screen and click on the installer it does nothing at all, just sits idle, doesn't matter how long i leave it alone, nothing happens. any thoughts?

I am Having a similar install problem, and didn't want to start a new thread, as the Adobe TechNote indicated: Error " Unable to read Adobe file version for path/Library/Fonts/MinionPro-Bold.otf". I think you have identified the issue, as being the directory/path at which the installer is expecting to find the font.
Problem: This "library" path that you mentioned, appears to be the path for an individual user's selected fonts (in my case, nothing is in this file yet).
The path, Applications\FontBook...etc. is the directory in which I would have thought the installer was expecting it. That is the directory in which all the fonts are located.
Are you still suggesting that we should delete the following two PSE8 disk files?
Library\appsupport\adobe\caps\ ; and
Library\appsupport\adobe\backup

I am attempting to install PSE8 on a new Mac OS 10.6
1. Installation was interrupted at about 95% complete.
Error: I.D. 18470, Unable to update installed font.
2. The font is not locked
3. I attempted to run "Clean Scripts", however, there were no files to be "cleaned"
4. I "disabled" MinionPro-Bold.otf - didn't help. Still couldn't install.
5. I exported the MinionPro font family to my desktop, as you had recommended in one of your responses, but that didn't work either.

The online subscription says my illustrator is up to date however I cannot find the Illustrator cc in downloads, on my applications, or when I click the trial version, it just askes me to purchase the subscription, although I have, and I downloaded it already, so when I sign in, it will not allow me to download, however when I try and open the program it will not allow me to either, It just takes me in circles asking me to purchse the program, which I have.
I am going around in circles and very fed up. Its been 4 hours

Cant install software on new MAC after PC died on me

I just bought a MAC after my PC went into a death spiral. The Mac can access the internet directly connected to the Linksys E2000 or through the guest wireless access. I went to set up the Cisco software so I could manage the router and get access to the passwords for guest and myself....I forgot the nonguest password. I can't get the Mac to recognize the router to set up the software, but it uses it no problem for internet access. How do I get the software on the Mac? I've tries the software from the disc that came with the router and also downloaded another version off the website.

you don't need any software to configure your router,
just plug a cable from your mac to router's LAN port
Check the gateway on your mac (Apple menu> System preferences> Network> Built-in Ethernet: Router)
remember that IP address,, (by default is 192.168.1.1)
open safari and type that address,
if you're prompted for a username and password, fill in by "admin" for both of'em
from that page, you can setup your wireless network and of course the security too.

Problems Installing Adobe Illustrator CS4 on Mac OS X Yosemite

Hi all,
When trying to install Illustrator CS4 on Mac OS X Yosemite, I receive an error: "required resources are missing."
Previously, I had problems using Illustrator CS4 when I upgraded to Yosemite, due to an error with the plugin "photoshopimport.aip." I had attempted to uninstall Illustrator, but the uninstall also gave me errors. I ultimately used the CC Cleaner Tool to remove Illustrator.
Now, however, I can't reinstall Illustrator CS4 either! I use the version provided on Adobe's website, so it's not a problem with a physical DVD.
Any ideas for potential solutions? Many thanks!

I don't have an Adobe installation log, and it's not hidden either. I tried installing Illustrator CS4 again, and I noticed that the install fails while ~80% through an "initializing" step. So, it fails before it even starts to generate an install log! I re-downloaded it and had the same error.
I did notice that I have some errors in the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool when I was removing Illustrator CS4. If you look at my first post, I couldn't use it, or uninstall it, so I simply used the Cleaner Tool to remove it. There are some errors in the Cleaner Tool log, such as this one:

Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
