Cant install photoshop elements 9.0

i tried to install photoshop elements but at the end of intalltion an error comingup like failed to install shared technologies. can any one help me to come out of this.

Hi,
I kepe getting an error message when trying to install Photoshop elements 12. I have re-downloaded the files multiple times from different places and none work so I know it isn't a corrupted file. Tried a system restart. Tried using support advisor but it found no issues.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.9 on a 2012 Macbook Pro that meets system requirements.
Any help is greatly appreciated

I have gone through the install logs and the error I am getting is 'PIM - Error could not create PIM Common Folder Path'. I have gone to the PDApp folder and it does not have any permissions on it. I have gone to the folder PDApp and it doesn't have any permissions, I'm not sure what to do from here. The PDApp folder is a alias that leads to the Adobe Application Managers folder. Sorry for the font being bold, it wouldn't turn off after pasting the error message.

You are allowed to have two activated installations. If you happened to have one on this Windows 8 machine before, it is possible that the activation used for it was never deactivated (did you deactivate it before you upgraded Windows?). No, if you mean can you copy the installed version over. That never works because PSE is a highly complex program that strews stuff all over your hard drive and you can never hope to find all the bits and bobs. You should deactivate it on the computer you no longer need, then install from scratch on the new machine.

Yes you can store images on an external hard dive and have them referenced in Organizer. It’s best to export copies to separate folders/subfolders and that will ensure iPhoto does not get corrupted.
Alternatively you could continue to use iPhoto with the Elements Editor set up in the iPhoto prefs as your external editing app. Then there is no need to use Organizer and no need to duplicate your images.
You can then call up photos directly from iPhoto as normal with the additional option e.g.
Double-click on a thumbnail to edit in iPhoto editor.
Control (right) - click on a thumbnail to edit in the elements app.

Your right. It won't make any sense to subscribe for a software that I don't own. I have CS5 on my Dell Laptop which has been giving me issues, so I re-installed the Operating System along with all my editing programs and nothing more. So I can toggle between the Mac and the PC to get the job done in the meantime. I will eventually get CS6 for the Mac.

In any case it doesn't matter. I returned it to the store where I bought it.
Rule #1; Don't use a product if the people who produce that product (software, hardware, etc.) don't properly support it.
User forums and\or chat lines, are useful and may help. But! They do not constitute proper support (not for installation purposes anyway).
