Cant install premiere and photshop 3.0 onto windows 7

I can not install photoshop 3.0 with premiere onto my new windows 7 computer. Ran great on my old xp system. Ran the compatability program from windows 7 and still would not install. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am at best a novice when it comes to this stuff. Thanks so much.

Thanks for the response. I don't know what happened but the photoshop 3.0 did
eventually download and is working fine but no dice on the premiere 1.0.
Oringinally all my photos from my old computer transfered over to the windows
media center and displayed. I then tried to open photoshop one more time and it
did open and retrieve all my photos into it. Dont' know how it happened but I
will monitor it carefully. Looks like I will have to purchase another Premiere.

I purchased the disc bundle for premiere elements/photoshop elements 10 and installed this software on my iMac utilizing the installer fix 1. Yes, that's exactly what happened. If you buy another drive, you could copy from your existing drive to the new and your files will be read/write. The new drive will have to be formatted as an HFS drive (that's the Mac's format). If you need to format it, you use Disk Utility which is in the Utilities folder on your Mac. Be careful with that -- it wipes out whatever is currently on the drive. Make sure you format the right drive.
I keep all my images on an external drive, too. In fact, I have two matching drives and sync them so I always have a backup.

The need to Install Premiere and Photoshop

I've purchased Adobe Photoshop /Adobe Premiere Elements 10 in the same package. I was instucted to click on the Install Adobe Premiere Elements 10 first and not the Install Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 toggel. After successfully installing Premiere Elements 10 do I need to now go back and click on the Install Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, or is it bundled into the install of Adobe Premiere?

Issues installing Premiere and After Effects CS5

I've been trying to install the master collection of CS5, but the installer does not install Premiere nor After Effects, i've checked the solutions over and over and nothing seems to work, im running a system that meets all the requirements specs are:
Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise Edition
Intel Core i7 920 Processor
6Gb Ram Memory
Nvidia 250GTS Video Card SLI x 2
Aside from the vid card not having the "official certification" i don't see any problem here, i have administrator privileges and those are the only two products that i cannot get installed, thanks for your help.

Cant install premiere elements cd or online trial on Mac

I bought Adobe Premiere Elements from Staples and it wouldn't load.
The Read me file said that for Mac users having issues, to download online trial and enter the serial number.
I keep getting "invalid checksum" error.
the issue number that it created was 00-25182-090615042012 in case I needed to open a case or something. It acts as if it is extracting but i think it went all night and seems stuck. Any help is appreciated!

I tried clearing cookies, cache, saving it to a different spot, one of the errors came up in the help program something like "this error shows when you have a previous version of photoshop installed. Uninstall the previous version first."
-I wasn't installing photoshop. I was installing premiere elements.
-Also, I haven't had photoshop ever installed on my Mac.

Windows Update in Endless Loop of 'Installing updates" and "Undoing changes" on New Windows 8.1 Pro Install

I am setting new Windows 8.1 Pro computers, and am installing Windows 8.1 Pro to bare drives. Everything goes fine until Windows Update starts installing updates, and then the computer goes for hours installing updates, and then "We
could not complete the updates Undoing changes". It's an endless loop. It seems to be the same 38 updates. This is a recent phenomenon. I have not run into this until the last week or two on several new computer installs.
Again these are brand new installs, so something is clearly wrong with the Windows updates.
If anyone can please tell me how to avoid this, it would be much appreciated.

Have you made any modifications to the machines ?
To resolve this issue ,running the built-in troubleshoot tool is a very good beginning .It will automatically diagnostic the windows update components and check the configurations for us .

If there are antivirus software installed in these machines, please turn off them temporarily to have a check.
The command line included in the link as S.Sengupta posted is very useful and convenient to repair the windows corrupted files .We can have a try .
"sfc /scannow" ,"DISM.EXE /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth "
We also can check the windowsupdate.log for more information to troubleshoot this issue .
Run "windowsupdate.log"

How to install Rescue and Recovery 4.21 on Windows 2003

There should be a good amount of users running Windows 2003 on their thinkpad for various reasons. As much as I tried, I could not get Rescue and Recovery's MSI to install on my X61 running Win2003 R2 SP2, despite attempts to modify the Setup.ini file.
the changes made in setup.ini:
[Win2003Server]
MajorVer=5
MinorVer=2
MinorVerMax=3
BuildNo=3790
PlatformId=2
The returned installer error is "The current operating system is not supported for running Rescue and Recovery. Supported operating systems includes Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 or Windows XP with Service Pack 1 or later".
This is such a shame as I'm pretty sure RR would run just fine on win2003 as both WinXP and win2003 are based on the same underlying technologies and code. Please advice if there's any method such as a command switch for MSI installer to suppress OS detection error or any modification that can be made to setup.ini to get it to install on win2003 or any utility that can be used to modify MSI files and database? Thanks!

Alrighty..I've manage to google a hack to this problem of getting Rescue and Recovery to install on Windows 2003. So let this post be a guide to how to get this done:
Getting the tools to modify Rescue and Recovery MSI (Windows Installer)
Download and install Orca MSI editor from http://astebner.sts.winisp.net/Tools/Orca.zip
Review http://ravi1337.blogspot.com/2007/05/orca-msi-editor-make-any-software.html, this guide should give you a good idea what you'll be doing with this tool.
Download Rescue and Recovery™ 4.21 from Lenovo
Download Rescue and Recovery™ 4.21 for Windows XP (32-bit) or Windows 2000 from http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/license.do?filename=thinkvantage_en/z652_setup_rnr42_016c...
Ensure you are downloading full install with all language pack to avoid any missing installation file due to regional settings
Run the installer and see that all files are extracted accordingly.
Modification of Rescue and Recovery Installer
Delete all files in C:\Documents and Settings\(User Account Name)\Local Settings\Temp\ this will prevent confusion on which files are unpacked and created by RR installer
Extract z652_setup_rnr42_016c.exe into a folder named z652_setup_rnr42_016c.
Execute tvtrnr42.exe
The MSI installer is then unpacked to the following default directory: C:\Documents and Settings\(User Account Name)\Local Settings\Temp\. Note that the installer creates two directories for installation of RR, that are {F151F2B3-0C32-44D3-90E2-E639B8024622} and _isXXXX <--- 4 randomly generated digits
The folder _isXXXX contain Rescue and Recovery.msi
On the first run of the installer, the following error will be shown "The current operating system is not supported for running Rescue and Recovery. Supported operating systems includes Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 or Windows XP with Service Pack 1 or later". DO NOT CLICK OK! This is cause the installer to purge all installation files and related directories in the temp directory. Just leave the error window as it is without clicking the OK button!
Copy all TVT files from folder z652_setup_rnr42_016c into both directories
Modify setup.ini entry for Win2003Server with notepad and save changes:

MajorVer=5
MinorVer=2
MinorVerMax=3
BuildNo=3790
PlatformId=2
Right-click on Rescue and Recovery.msi and edit with Orca
Go to LaunchCondition Table
Drop the following rows and save changes:

IEEXISTS=1 OR Installed - [ProductName] requires Microsoft(R) Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. You cannot install the Rescue and Recovery program without this version of Internet Explorer.
INCOMPAPPNAME=0 OR Installed - [INCOMPAPPNAME] is installed and is incompatible with this version of [ProductName]. This application cannot be installed. To install [ProductName], uninstall [INCOMPAPPNAME] and then restart this setup.
Not SGEWRONGVERSION OR Installed - [INCOMPAPPNAME] is installed and is incompatible with this version of [ProductName]. This application cannot be installed. To install [ProductName], uninstall [INCOMPAPPNAME] and then restart this setup.
When you're done with these modification, re-run Rescue and Recovery.msi without closing the previous error window. Rescue and Recovery should now install without any glitch! Good Luck!

You will have to use iTunes to restore your son’s iPad to get passed the passcode issue. Now you have two options to get you where you want to be. The first is using another computer if you have access to one. The other would be taking a look at the article below to walk you through some troubleshooting option to get iTunes to install properly. Just installed Premiere and can not open a new project, database error

Everytime I try to open a new project i get a Database is "Failed to perform the database operation as the Organizer database is busy. Please try again later."
Anyone had this problem yet?

Of prime importance...what version of Premiere Elements are you working with and on what computer operating system is it running on?
So, right now a lot of generalizations
1. Close all opened projects and programs.
2. Right click the Taskbar at the bottom of computer desktop to bring up Task Manager/Processes. Look for and End Process for any traces of Premiere Elements and/or Elements Organizer whose process remained opened after you closed the program.
3. Open Premiere Elements to its Splash screen where hopefully you will see tabs for Organizer and Video Editor. Hold down the Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys of the computer main keyboard (altogether) as you do a left mouse click hold down on the Organizer tab for about 15 seconds. After that time, release just the mouse click hold down. Wait for a message about deleting the preferences/settings file. Click Yes to the message that should appear. Unhold the Ctrl+Alt+Shift, and then click on Organizer or Video Editor and try to open the Video Editor or Elements Organizer sections of the program without error.
4. Did that work for you? If not, please supply more details.
