Cant join PC to domain and not able to send emails

I'm having a few issues with a SBS 2011 Standard server. To give you a setup overview
Server x1 (SBS 2011)
Workstations x6 (4 running Windows 7 Pro and 2 running Windows 8.1 Pro)
The server is used as domain controller and exchange. It doesn't host the web domain - emails are directed via a pop3 connector to exchange accounts
Main use for server is file sharing, domain control and exchange
The server and workstations connect into 8 way Ethernet switch
This switch is then connected in BT 2wire business hub
The LAN ran from 192.168.0.69 (server) to .70, .71 etc while BT hub was 192.168.0.253
OK now the problem.
Everything was setup and working fine until BT decided to block the IP from web.  BT said to factory restart the hub which we did. This fixed the internet to hub but screwed up the LAN. The new hub IP was 192.168.1.254 so the LAN was moved from 192.168.0.x
to 192.168.1.x
The first issue I am having is that I cant join a new pc that was rebuilt to the network. I have tried joining via right clicking my computer and changing domain, but when I enter in the domain and admin password it says it cant find the domain?
I then tried the http://connect but that just loaded a blank page. I'm struggling as to how to connect this pc now. I tried to change the DNS on pc to the server LAN address but that didnt work either. I'm not sure if the domain controller is working or
if its another issue?ow.
Also on the pcs that are still connected, every time they login the mapped drives to the server dont open. the user has to try to open the drive and then enter in their username and password to open the drive. The drives are all shared correctly and this
is only happening now.
The 2nd issue I have is unclear as if its still a BT issue or not, but when a user tries to send an email the get an instant bounce back saying
COL004-MC1F51.hotmail.com gave this error: OU-002 (COL004-MC1F51) Unfortunately, messages from 86.XXX.92.XX weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since
part of their network is on our block list.
This happens on a number of emails not just hotmail
When I checked that IP on the spam networks it had no record of it being blocked.the server has internet access ok and can receive emails fine, just not send them.
I dont know it both issues or connected or not.
would anyone have any ideas on what to try? first issue is getting this pc on the network. have been told that it needs all sorting for Monday morn, so any quick advice would be great.

Hi,
Could you please share the IP Address of the server ?
Make sure the server is set to Static IP Address. With one NIC card enabled. DNS IP should be pointing to the server IP itself.
On Client machine assign an IP address and make sure the DNS is set to Servers IP Address.
Once that is done , Try to ping the server.
Also ping connect from the client machine , Connect should show servers ip address.

    I am not able to send emails out from my outlook account on my iPhone 4s.  This feature has been working fine for 2 years and all of a sudden decided not to work.  I was able to receive emails but not send out.  I tried deleting the outlook account and recreating it but now I can't even recreate it.  It tells me it cannot verify my account information.  The interesting thing is that the account works fine on my PC, so I know my login info is correct.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • Could not able to send email notification through approval workflow

    Hi,
    I am trying to send an email notification to the requester and approver on request creation and when the approver approves the request then an email should get triggered to the request with approve/reject outcome. All the SOA configuration has been done and also able to send test email through SOA console but could not able to send email through SOA composite.
    For configuring an email notification, I am using notification tab in ApprovalTask, but still problem is not resolved.
    Please help me in resolving the issue.

    Also check whether any firewall issue is there which is preventing OIM to contact the email server in sending out emails. Check the logs if there are any issues.
    Also check this system property 'RequestNotificationLevel'. This property indicates whether or not notification is sent to the requester and beneficiary when a request is created or the request status is changed. If the value is 0 for this system property, make it 1.
    I was facing a similar type of issue due to two reasons:
    1. System property
    2. Firewall
    Check both of them and try again.

  • [SOLVED] Evolution :: not able to send email

    HI
    It was working before, but now I am not able to send email over work {office} smtp server.
    I have two accounts in Evolution, work and personal. For personal I am using my own debian server with postfix and I can send email over that.
    I did contact hosting company who we are using for work smtp server and they are saying that there is no incaming connection for my acount in time when I am trying to send email.
    I did install Thunderbird, wow, I can send email from work and personal account and with same configuration as evolution, port 25 with and without security (TLS).
    I think it is cleary problem of evolution, can someone explain me what could happen?
    Friend visit me today, He is using Evolution too, but he is running MINT, same problem.

    Thanks, I was trying to check trafic on router, and I did not see where the problem is, well I did not check IP.
    Now, tcpdump show me the problem. I am using OPENDNS and here is output from tcpdump:

  • Not able to send emails via Mail anymore !?!?

    Very bizarre : since yesterday night, we are not able to send emails from all of our 3 accounts !?!?!? When we are sending an email Mail always ask us to enter our password. If not Mail says that we should choose another server to send our email but then after it keep asking us our password and the message always stay in my sending box ? Is there a way to solve that problem ?

    It appears you might need a Yahoo plus account to utilize it as an SMTP server.    The server address is plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    Other than that, I would contact Yahoo support directly.  Ask them if they require password authentication. If they do, usually your e-mail address is your username.  Often they require port 587, 2626, or 2662.  Only Yahoo would know for certain which one to use.

    You might want to try removing they email account and setting it back up again

    depending on what email account you are using, you may need to enter a password for you outgoing mail server, go back into mail settings and check, same p/w as your incoming mail server.

    Some Insights-
    The PDF printing can be done from a BEx Web Application, BEx Web Analyzer, or BEx Report Designer. There are no current plans to make this available in the BEx Analyzer.
    From the BEx Analyzer, you can use the "launch in web" functionality to then initiate print to PDF.

    Have a requirement to send email notification to multiple emails from workflow. As per the given requirements have derived the emails and concatenated with comma (,) and passed to the API createadhocrole to create.

    A new role is getting created but there is no email sent.
    Created a new attribute of role type and in the notification function have assigned the same as the performer.
    The NOTIFICATION_PREFERENCE in WF_ROLES table is DISABLED for the new role.
    If anyone came across same issue please let me know to to achieve this.

    You need to provide the correct email address but not the dummy address like '[email protected],[email protected]'. One more thing you can give only email address per one user or role. You cannot assign multiple addresses, if you do also it treats the entire string as one email address only.
    After changing the email address, modify the notification preference to MAIL* and then send a notification.

    I have yet to find an email server that does not work with Mail.app. Your solution will be to configure its ports and send/receive protocol according to the email server's requirements.
    Try the Zimbra support forums. I found this excerpt from a relevant post:

    Unable to relay - This happened because your Company network don't permit relay. Do talk to the network administrator and check with way safe you can send.
