Cant Listen to CD's on my computer

I am unable to play CD's on my computer using a digital signal. i am running Microsoft Media Player and I am trying to listen to CD's using a Digital signal instead of analog and it sounds like a cat scratched the heck out of my CD when it plays. The reason I want to listen to it using a digital signal is because I want to see he visualizations on my screen. Can anyone help me with this?

O/S: Win 98
Mobo: K7N420
Graphics card: Onboard
Sound card: Onboard
Processor: AMD 1800XP+
RAM: 1 stick Crucial 256MB in #1 slot
HD: Maxtor 7200RPM 60GB

I am thinking of buying a TDK CD-RW drive instead of just a CD-ROM drive. I am looking at the VeloCD 48x16x48. I heard alot of good things about TDK. the price on it is $109.99 and i have seen other drives that are slower and more expensive. Is this a good drive to go with. My other choice is the Plextor Plex combo that is a CDRW/DVD drive. it sppeds are 20x10x40. I write speed/rewrite speed/ read speed. I want a DVD player but am not sure if it is worth it to get in the same package if the speeds are going to suffer. any info onthat would be appreciated. One last thing, if I record from my 4x speed CD-ROM to the new CD-RW is it possible and will it be slower than if I also upgraded my CD-ROM or can I record from the CD-RW to the hard drive and back to a CD-R? will the quality be better or worse?

I have purchased musicfrom itunes on my iphone, how do i listen to this music on my computer?

I have recently purchased some music on my iPhone from itunes, does anybody know how i can then listen to this music from my computer? i have signed into itunes i have also aauthorised the computer to download purchaes from my iphone but when in itunes it just comes up grey and doesnt let me listen to it?

Open itunes, connect iphone, click File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
This will put the music on your computer. Listen to it.

Cant sync iPhone because itunes says this computer is no longer authorised

whenever i try to sync my iPhone 5s to my computer (iMac.. the older/thick one), it backs up and works fine until it starts to download music and apps. it says that it cant sync to my iPhone because the computer is no longer authorised for the purchases made on the phone, it gave me the option to authorise (which it already was) so i did, still didn't work, so i reauthorised and reauthorised a couple of times. i first started to notice the problem when i updates to IOS 8 (iTunes v12.0.1.26) so i don't know whats at fault. i have a 4th-gen ipod touch (6.1.2) that syncs without any problems. i dont know what to do anymore , i just want my new songs on my phone. is there any way i can fix this because having to carry my ipod and my phone everywhere is getting quite tedious.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re not able to sync your iPhone 5S with your iMac because of repeated alerts to authorize the computer. Take a look at the article linked below, it provides more information about the alert message that you’re seeing and possible resolutions.

Somebody suggested clearing the Store cache. I don't know why that would affect the radio. Seems to have not worked for some, worked for a few or maybe they imagined it. Many other posts about this if you browse the forum.
This is happening to some people some of the time in some places, but then not affecting people in other places, or in the same place at different times. You try to guess what is going on. Hasn't happened to me. Maybe it's my iTunes 7.5, or maybe it's luck of the draw since I never use iTunes radio.

Personally I'd continue to backup to your mac, I see iCloud backup as a means to backup for those that don't have a mac/PC or are otherwise regularly away from it.

When tracks in iTunes display a it means the file cannot be located; it may have been moved or deleted. For this issue, see the following article:

I am going to assume you mean iPod not iPad.
When trying to listen to media without headphones plugged in, does the display indicate that headphones are still connected?
Does the device ring when called? Do any other sounds work?
Let's eliminate the obvious, is the device set on mute? Do you see a red dot just above the volume rocker on the left hand side of the device?

What happens when you try, how are you doing it, and what are the files (music, films, documents ...) ?
If you are trying to copy documents then you first need an app on the iPad that supports the type of file that you want to copy to it - the iPad doesn't have a file system like a 'normal' computer, everything has to be associated with an app. As to how you then get the file to your chosen app will depend upon what the app supports - different apps will have different ways of copying their content to/from a computer e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc.
If you are trying to copy music or films then are you using your computer's iTunes ?
