Cant load half of the FB apps using my usb modem

What would possibly cause a USB modem to cause half of the Facebook apps to no longer to load as of ten days ago.
1) It is NOT my computer.
-I used my laptop under 4 different internet connection and had no problem accessing all my FB apps
2) It is NOT Facebook
-I have no problem using any of the facebook apps when NOT using my usb modem.
3) It's THE usb modem
-I used the same usb modem on my other laptop that has VWAcess Manager and got the same results of not abling to gain access to half of my facebook apps.
4)The current USB Modem I am using is Pantech UM150-AL and been using it for 4 years
I eliminated many many possibiltiies and can only conclude its the USB Modem, but I cant see how the heck it's doing it. Any help on this will be grateful.

Installation fails on half of the CC apps (-60) error

I have contacted tech support numerous times to try and get this working and have even gone to the point where I wiped my ENTIRE machine, erased all hard drives, did a clean install, etc etc.... and still, every time about half of the CC apps fail to install. I get the following error message....
"Installation Faile - Learn More." and the more info segment will say, "Installation Failed. The download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes.(-60)"

I'll try downloading from somewhere else, I just wanted to get these installed before I bring this huge machine back to my apartment as it's a pain to transport, but also.... wouldn't that be strange since it downloaded and installed the other half of the applications without any issues? Also, it always encounters the same error at the same spot no matter what, it doesn't make a different if I delete everything or not. This is all being done from my office and is note wireless, so there is definitely a strong connection.... I will try to download onto a thumbstick from the library, though, and see if that works.
Oh yeah, one more thing that makes it all the stranger, I have a Windows PC sitting right next to this PC and have installed all of the CC apps just fine on there without issue using the same connection. =/

Which services in the Server app use PostgreSQL?

I want to use Postgres.app for PostgreSQL and move my databases currently on the Apple installed instance. The documentation states that it works best if there is only one active instance of PostgreSQL.
I currently use the latest version of the Mavericks Server app for DNS and Websites (for now). I know that at one time Websites was using PostgreSQL. I would like to know if I can turn of postgres and still use the DNS service. I think I can figure out how to host my one website in Apache.
For future projects I would like to know which services in the Server app use PostgreSQL.

When formatting your column to date/time, pick Date & time, and then pick the letter i in the circle to the right. Then scroll down and pick "No time"

Can't use my USB modem "HUAWEI model E156G" on my MACBook Pro

I'm new to MAC (I used to be a windows user) and I'm a little bit frustrated for not being able to use my USB modem "Huawie E156G" for connecting my new MacBook Pro!
I followed these steps:
Got the USB modem drivers found on Huawei site that should support my USB modem model. there were 2 drivers, one for "Intel" and another one for "PowerPC" platforms
First, I installed the "Intel" version succesfully. According to the steps, I tried to run the installed driver, but I got the following message:
"you cant open the app HuaweiDataCardApp because PowerPC app are no longer supported".
I repeated the installation procedure using the "PowerPC" version that finished succesfully (without removing the previous installed driver because dont know how to do that). I got the same message when running the driver application:
"you cant open the app HuaweiDataCardApp because PowerPC app are no longer supported".
It would be much appreciated if anyone can help me

It takes a full minute and a half for the Mac App Store Application to load on my iMac. How can I fix this. No other applications launch so slowly.

Whenever I click on the Mac App Store icon in my dock, I get the spinning wheel for a minute and a half. It then loads. While in the App Store application, it takes a minute and a half to switch from "featured" to "top charts" for example. Nothing else on my 24" iMac takes that long to load. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Drag the App Store app from the Applications folder to the Trash. Drag the App Store icon off the Dock. It should go "poof"..
Download and install the v10.6.7 combo update.

That should re install the Mac App Store for you. It's ok to do this even if you are already running v10.6.7
If the combo did not re install the MAS for you use Pacifist to extract the MAS from the v 10.6.7 .dmg folder.

Hi,
It means in your options of the KM you have it set to quit when it hits one error, if you set it to 0 (infinite) then it will not stop no matter how many data load errors it hits.
If you set it to 0 and run the interface, depending on how you set up the options in the KM it can write to two log files, which you should check.

Duplicates in the Photos app using Nokia 1520!

I have recently had this problem where the Camera Roll using the Photos app will duplicate photos. In fact right now, one photo I took yesterday had a duplicate but now, there are 5 copies of the photo! If I take out the SD card and look at the images, there are no duplicates.
So this is a problem with the database of the the Photos app. Sometimes when I restart the phone and take pictures, there would be no duplicates but the problem would come back again. All of this is software related.
Also I do not dare delete the duplicates because last time I did that, it corrupted the original!
This is one big reason why I SO regret getting the 1520. This and the issue with the stuttering video recording unless a very expensive high speed SD card is used. Windows phones need to step up their game to compete with iOS and Android. If this is not resolved soon, I will gladly go back to those 2 main platforms, in fact, because of these issues, I just cannot wait until a bigger screened iphone comes out for my aging eyes!

Have you checked in settings for updates ? I don't have your issues, but did have issues with screen sensitivity with swiping and tapping not always having the desired results. However in the last week my 1520 has had two software updates and now has zero issues, latest one today. It may be worth checking on your handset, settings then scroll down to check for software updates

Why does an iPad (1st gen) using iOS 5.1 and the Photos app not send a single photo to a projector while a slideshow is sent photo by photo?

I am not 100% sure, but i believe the iPad only does mirroring when connecting with AppleTV. AV cables will output audio and video out the bottom of the iPad (30-pin connector) to a TV/monitor, but the iPad screen itself will only show video controls (play/pause, FF, RW, Done, Progression bar). If your cables say otherwise I am interested to know what brand they are and where you got them. If you are not getting any video at all the cables are probably not Apple approved and dont have the special chip in the 30-pin connector that allows for video transition.

Why is the mail-app using so much space?

My iPhone is desperately needing some RAM-space to operate, space that is currently in use by the Mail-app. After I have deleted all messages (inbox, sent and trash) the mail-app still takes up for 7,0 GB of space. Somehow it seems not to delete messages (and or attachments) that should have been deleted from the device, or it there something else wrong? Can anyone help me to get rid of the junk in the Mail-App?

Thanks for the suggestion. In that case I would like to know how to delete seperately stored attachments on my iPhone, since I already deleted each and every one of my e-mails. (cleared all inboxes, sent boxes, trash.... all of them). And even after deleting all e-mails it still takes up 7 GB.
