Cant load my studio 8 to the mac (its win/mac) what is the problem?

I have a new mac mini and cannot get the thing to recognize the license even though the thing is win/mac. what's wrong?

If any of the music files didn't come from Apple, then you will need to seek the advice of another Mac website, like MacRumors or Apple Insider, to inquire about the latest third party software that can place ALL the files back onto the Mac.
Supposedly there is a way to reverse only iTunes purchased music back onto a Mac, it excludes the music from other sources.

I am using MTS files. They load in PE fine. The problem is when I try to play them, I just get audio and no video. I have installed the latest updates. Is there a CODEX that I need.

I have windows 8.1. I have downloaded the mts files from my video camera onto my hard drive. I have loaded a subset of these mts files into premier elements and they show up fine. I can bring them to the time line without a problem. The issue is that when I click on them, I only get the audio and no video. Normally when you click a thumbnail, the picture shows in the large screen. That screen remains blank.

1. Graphics Adapter: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650
2. My driver before you response was 3/4/14   9.18.13.3523. I went to Nvidia and downloaded and installed latest driver 7/2/14 9.18.13.4052
3. Rebooted and checked APE and no change in the problem. Still doesn't show video when I double click an thumbnail or if I single click it does not show a video image in the large screen.
4. Some things I have done to try to resolve the problem.
     a. Searched this forum for a similar problem. I didn't see one.
     b. Did a web search to see if I could find a solution outside this forum
     c Went into "edit" and tried some changes in project preferences and setting to see if that would make a difference
     d. Tried to contact Adobe support to speak to a person but that seemed difficult and could never figure out how to do it.
5. I have always loaded AVI clips into this program and this is the first time I have tried MTS files. When I opened the new project, the program notified that I had to change something??? to load an MTS file and asked me if I wanted the program to do this for me. I said yes and here I am.   I seem so close to making it work.   Thanks

Plug-In very slow to load (first) applet - is IPv6 the problem?

I've previously reported a similar [problem on Windows 2000|http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa] which is also affecting Vista (though not as extreme).
Each time the Plug-In is launched there is a long delay before the applet is started - during this period I simply see the animated Java logo, no change to its (empty) progress bar and no chatter on the Java Console (trace-level 5).
There is no delay starting the applet when reloading the page or when subsequently visiting other web-pages hosting applets. With the "next generation" Plug-In the JPI is sometimes shutdown and then later relaunched. The delay occurs each time the Plug-In is relaunched.
For example, when I visit [http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml] the delay is 90 seconds on Vista (JRE6.0_12, IE7 & FF3) versus only 20 seconds on Linux (JRE6.0_12, FF3).
When I dump the running threads in the Console during the delay I noticed an IPv6 method call (stack trace shown at end) is always running - could it be the culprit?
I'll also try jstack as suggested in the other thread and report back.

Thanks SoCalGuy...I've been going nutzoid over this problem with the new Firefox 5 and later. Searched the internet and no credible solutions available. I've installed Firefox 6 beta 2 and same problem. Every time I shut down my computer and reboot, Firefox 5 (and higher) takes an eternity to start. No such issue with IE9 or Chrome. Been a long time fan of F/F but this has really tested my patience - no apparent fix and what has been suggested on the internet is a load of goobledygook. I had a similar issue but mine said cannot verify username and password as it was aparently incorrect!
To resolve this i went to generals: App store and clicked on my apple id. when a pop up shows click on view Applie id account. There select the payment process and select NONE in the type of card instead of your visa or mastercard. save it and then you can try getting into facetime., It should be good. It worked for me. Cant load firefox. cant load second firefox page

After loading the 3.6.10 version of firefox on both xp and on mac snow leapard, I experience a situation where firefox will not load. sometimes if it is already load and I just ask to open a second the page locks up and I cant load Firefox again without deleting the firefox process. Once I do that it loads.,
It happens on:

and a MACBook Pro running snow leapard.

The Apple TV 2 doesn't show up under devices like the Apple TV 1, to send video and music to the Apple TV you need to use the Airplay Option which appears in the lower right corner of iTunes.

No. Office 2011 for Mac is coded to run with OS X. In order to work on the iPad the app must be coded for iOS instead.
If you look in the iTunes App Store, you will find that there are many apps that allow you to work with Office files on an iPad.

If Software Update is offering the update then it would be compatible with your model. Unfortunately, you haven't provided us with any information on your hardware that would enable us to determine if it really is too old.
If you really wish to disable the update alert then the next time Software Update opens, select the update in the list then select "Ignore update" from SU's Update menu.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
