Cant log in to itunes store with apple id

just created a new apple id. never done this before. now trying to login to itunes store but it doesn't recognize my id or password. i know id is good since i'm using it now to post this issue. i've also clicked redeem itunes gift card, uploaded card number so account is working but still can't login to buy something. this BITES!

You can reset the email used for your Apple ID. You can add additional emails for recovery. I would add at least two more. After your verify those emails, reset your password.

I have trouble accessing itunes store with apple tv. Can anyone help me?

i have same issue. netflix is fine. Itunes on an appletv is slow and then times out.. cant connect to server. Is the server, or a pipe, just overloaded?

Many people have two Apple IDs, one for iTunes, these forums, and possibly hardware registration, and another created for use with iCloud. It's a common error to get them mixed up: you need to log into iCloud with your @me.com email address, not the ID you use for iTunes if this is different. If you want to reset your iCloud password go to http://appleid.apple.com and, again, sign in with your iCloud login.

I try to understand...
I was using the 2e Gen appl tv with a 720p Tv... and all was perfect...
Now, i have new Smart Tv LG 1080p with 120hz...
i change my apple tv for a 3e Gen with the full 1080p
But, when a go with Apple tv to "Computer" and listen a movie i buy on Itunes Stores
I see some "LAG" sometime, like if was playing in my computer to a Game and using my internet to dwl others thing...
If i use Youtube, of video buy on Itunes stores... all its okay... only when is a movie...
Someone can help me??

The big problem is when I start a movie on my Pc and switch to my appel tv with airplay, or, when a go watch a movie directly with appel tv... all movie i listen have some Lag during the viewing. Its not fluid...
the Appel Tv is good for 1080p 60hz
my tv can go to 1080p 120hz...
i don't know if its maybe that the probleme... my tv have a to hight 120hz for the appel tv who have only 60hz ?

Buying music from the iTunes store with Apple TV.

Since changing to the new Apple TV I can't find a way to purchase Music directly from the iTunes store. I can rent and buy Movies, so IO'm sure there must be a way but I can't seem to work it out.

I have been unable to log into the iTunes store with the Apple ID and password I have been using. I have money on my account and don't want to lose it by signing out. I have also tried to reset my password without success...

I've been having the same issue since Friday, just before I updated to iTunes 8. Whenever I try to connect to the store, it says:
"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The network connection was refused. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again."
My internet is working perfectly with all other applications. This is incredibly frustrating! There's a specific album I want to purchase but it is not available anywhere else for download.

Unable to Connect to iTunes Store for Apple TV Purchases

For the past 2 days I have been unable to make purchases from the iTunes store with Apple TV. I get the message "Unable to connect to iTunes Store. Temporarily unavailable. Try again later." Despite this message, I have a valid internet connection and I can still connect to the iTunes store to preview movies and TV shows content with my Apple TV. I just cannot make any purchases. I have logged out of my apple id and verified that I have the right password. When I log back into Itunes store from my macbook pro, it tells me I need to verify my billing info and asks for my apple id and password again. I enter it and it just circles around and asks for my username and password again. Its just a loop. What do I need to do?

Logging in to iTunes Store on my Apple TV

I have just got round to updating my Apple TV and everytime I try to log in to my iTunes account, it says that either the Apple ID or Password is incorrect, although I can still log in on my PC.
I have tried both of my iTunes accounts and neither will work. I've made sure I'm using all lower case, and made sure it's trying to connect to the correct countries store.
What's interesting is YouTube doesn't work either, but when I go to look at TV Show Previews and Film Trailers, they work and play fine, it just won't let me sign in to my accounts.
Any ideas?

I was on the phone with Apple support this morning for 2 hours.
If you have an @aol.com email address as your Apple ID, you cannot log onto the iTunes store on the Apple TV. The technician told me it's a bug they did not come across during testing and they're working now trying to resolve it. He said they're not sure if it's on the server side or if it's the v2 firmware.
The technician tried to convert my account as shown in the link (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=307459) That did not work either. The solution for now is to go to https://myinfo.apple.com, log in and change your Apple ID name to something else besides an @aol.com address.
He said it looks like we'll be getting a 2.0.1 update very soon to resolve the issue.
