Cant log in to my email account

Have an existing email account with Cox communications. [email protected]
I set it up on my Nokia 1020 but it won't connect! Called Cox but they won't help! aT&T can't figure it out either!

What exactly happens when you try setting up your Cox account on your Nokia 1020? Do you get any error message? Also, do you have other email accounts set up on the phone? If yes, are you getting the same issue with the other accounts?
Setting up an email address requires a mobile data or WiFi connection. Try testing it by visiting websites using the mobile browser. You may also try deleting the internet cache of your phone by going to Settings > Applications > Internet Explorer > delete history before re-setting up your Cox email.

You can just remove the account from Mail in Preferences>Accounts. However you would be advised to erase the entire hard disk and reinstall the system from the disks the Mac came with (which you must include with it when you pass it on). This will remove all your personal data, and also any additional software you bought (which the recipient has no right to use).

In mail app, you can remove the account and add theirs in settings>Mail, Calendars,Contacts.
or add theirs only and in mail, go up a level and view each inbox seperately.
The ipad is not designed for multi-user use however so it is not easy.

If you have an @mac.com or @me (MobileMe) name then the password needs to be kept to 16 characters or Less due a limit at the AIM server end.
Use iForgot to change the Password
A @me.com name associated with Lion/iOS5/iCloud will only work in Lion and iChat 6

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If this is the iMessages account in Messages is it the same Apple ID you use to login in here to post ?
If it logs in here the password is correct.
If it is another Apple ID does that work anywhere else ? (iTunes, a different login here)
If it is Password to an AIM Login can you login here ?
Apple Issued ID ending in @me.com and @icloud.com from iCloud will not work on that AIM settings page.
Go back to the Keychain and check the Access tab and check it is allowing Messages, IMAgent and Internet accounts if it is not allowing Any app.

Nokia C3-00 - Cant set up my Yahoo email account? ...

I recently bought the Nokia C3-00 on Vodafone but asked them to unlock it so that I could use my exisitng O2 contract.
I want to set up my Yahoo email account, but Im having great difficulty!
When I initially put my O2 sim card in, they sent me the settings for MMS and Web. I can get on the internet and I can access Facebook, but I cant seem to access the Nokia Ovi Store or set up my Yahoo email account.

When I click on the Mail icon on the Menu screen I have a message appear saying 'No mailbox created. Set up mail now?' If I click 'Yes' It says 'Use an existing mail address?' to which I also say 'Yes' and proceed to emter my email address, etc. Should this be happening as I notice in the video that Yahoo Mail is one of the options in the video, however as I have said I do not have that screen!

Fire your project manager for this new website revamp, fire the developers and get someone in who can transition accounts from one system to another without destroying the whole user experience. Absolute disgrace, don't message me about Apps and how I should log in to my account for offers when I can't do any of that. I would advise anyone new to EE here to cancel your account within the 14 day grace period, you'll have neverending issues from fake data charges, extortionate roaming costs, somehow paying for data when on Wifi and much more.
