Cant login to Bank of America to pay bills anymore with Firefox 4

I had bookmark's set to all my online billpaying accounts,like for example Bank of America. When I click on login, it takes me to a totally white blank screen now (in Firefox 4) and does not show me my site key so I can enter my password. This has happened on numerous sites. OR if it lets me into a site (like into my ING direct account, some "clickables" there to do certain actions are totally locked and I am not directed to do the action I request. I am having similar problems with AT&T Yahoo Mail that won't let me look at my contacts when logged in. It locks up for that and will not even display the contacts. I am getting frustrated with Firefox 4 because so many websites don't work as they used to work.

Unable to use firefox to axcess bank or pay online, bank tells me the problem is only with firefox.

I use a norwegian bank called Sr-bank (www.sparebank1.no).
The error i recived trying to pay told me to contact the bank and give them the error code "BID-2031" if the problem persisted, so i did.
I recived an e-mail from the bank saying that this was a Mozilla firefox problem and suggested that i switched to internet explorer or chrome. They also sent me a link on theyr bank page, which "explained" the problem. Directly translated it said:
"You use the Mozilla Firefox browser
Our experience is that the BID 2031 occurs for those who use Mozilla Firefox browser. We recommend you to try using a different browser such as Google Chrome, until further notice."
I wan't to keep using firefox, and i know that if i start using other browsers to axcess bank, it woun't be long before i don't bother using firefox at all. Please tell me you have a solution to this problem?

the main page is not the problem, it is the login/security check...
Anyway, my other bank (a local bank) dosn't seem to have any problem with firefox, so if the problem persist, I will probably switch permanentlly to the other bank.

I am sorry you are having issues with viewing your contacts. Where exactly are you trying to view your contacts? (ie Backup Assistant or Verizon Cloud). What happens when you try to sign in to view the contacts? Are you receiving any error messages?

Unable to login to accounts bank of america. Safari works fine Firefox will not load. says site is unavalible try later.

try to login to Bank of America account. I am able to get to the account summery screen but can not go to any account. Message comes up "site is busy or not avalible", this happens every time I try to try . I went to Safari and can login and go to all accounts.

Try clearing all history, cache and browser cookies, and then give the website a go.
If that doesn't work, try opening firefox in safe mode.
I know this issue is happening to quite a few people..

Payment method /w Paypal -or- Bank of America

I am a seventeen and a half year old that has a job and has just recently (in the past 1-2 weeks) opened up a checking & savings account with Bank of America. I am online with Bank of America and I have setup my PayPal account with my Bank of America checking account. I am having a hard time trying to find a method to pay for a 30GB iPod (Black + Engraving) from the website. Is there any way to use PayPal or the Bank of America website as an option to pay for the iPod?

I'm guessing you don't have a debit card with your new checking acct? If you do, use that in the credit card option. A debit card can be used as a credit card if it has the Visa, etc logo on it. Otherwise, you can use the Bill Me Later option, though by the looks of it, it will take considerably longer that way.

Bank of America

I have been researching this issue for quite a while. The basic issue is that when trying to login to Bank of America website I get the following error:
"Your browser sent a query this server could not understand. "
I get this regardless of the browser. I have attempted to use the latest versions as of this posting of Camino, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. I always have the same results.
If I logon to my Mac using a different profile, then I have no issue. So I know that the issue has something to do with something hidden in my profile.
I did migrate my settings from a previous Mac that was running Tiger if that is relevant. I am sure it is to a degree because I must have migrated the issue as I had the problem on that system as well.
Doing a sudo to root and launching the browser allows me to enter the site without issue.
If I go to Home>Library>Application Support and delete the Firefox directory, effectively resetting Firefox, I am prompted to import settings from another browser upon the launch of Firefox. I choose not to import anything. When I attempt to logon the "first time" to the Bank of America, it acts like it wants to go forward and then it redirects to the Bad Request page with the aforementioned error. Subsequent attempts immediately send me to this page.
I have attempted to delete Home>Library>Application Support>Cookies>Cookies.plist but that didn't seem to make a difference. I have also deleted the Home>Library>Application Support>Safari directory as well but that too didn't seem to make a difference. Of course, all the directories are recreated.
I have examined my Keychain and haven't found any relevant entries related to Bank of America that I can see.
My basic question is there some shared area that all browsers will plug-into on a Mac where this setting that is obviously throwing a monkey wrench into play?
Any ideas?

I have tried with program RFFOUS_T - Payment Medium USA - Transfers/Bank Direct Debits in ACH Format. The output generated is no where near to the format.
Does anyone know whether SAP supports such format or any program that will help to generate the DME file from the payment run ?

Safari won't let me pay bill in Bank of America

My Bank of America account works fine if I use Internet Explorer. Safari seems to work fine except that after listing bills to be paid, Safari does not highlight the "Pay Bills" button. The button remains dark. I've trashed preferences, ran permissions etc. Any body got any ideas. Thanks

1. There are no viruses for Mac. There is currently one trojan, but the latest security update from Apple is taking care of that. Additionally, you can take a look at these:

I do not have any anti virus software on my Mac; if there is ever a virus, I will use ClamXAV (free). Your computer's worst enemy is, frankly, the user who downloads things they don't know, possibly from questionable sites. Microsoft viruses can't do your Mac any harm since they can't read the Mac OS to do harm; however, you could unwittingly be forwarding one in an email to a PC friend. I don't forward attachments unless I know the source.

New computer with Firefox 3.6.8 could not login to Bank. Used to work. The fix for me was deleting the bank's cookie. Got to Tools-Options-Privacy-Show Cookies-Remove your banks website and try the Login again. This worked for me.

EBill and Bank of America

Is anyone receiving an eBill in Bank of America for their Verizon Wireless account? If so, what are your Secure eBill, Auto Pay, and Papperless Billing settings in your Verizon account set to?
I have been trying for weeks to set this up and every time I try to request my ebill from Verizon in BoA I get this email response from BoA
We're not able to activate e-Bill service for Verizon Wireless (account ***********0001) because: Verizon Wireless is unable to process your request for eBill enrollment, as your subscriber account is not currently eligible to participate. Please contact Verizon Wireless for details (W)..
Common reasons for this problem include:
Billing and service address inconsistencies. You should always use your service address, not your billing address, when enrolling for e-Bill.
Wrong account number. Make sure you use the correct account number when enrolling for e-Bill.
Primary and secondary account holders. Make sure you are using the primary account holder's information (such as name, Social Security number, or tax ID).
e-Bill enrollment at your biller's website. In some cases, billers don't allow you to register for e-Bill at Online Banking if you're already enrolled at the company's website.
I have tried all kinds of settings for Secure eBill, Auto Pay, and Papperless Billing. Does anyone know how to get Verizon Wireless eBills working in BoA?

Bank of America Platinum Visa (Slightly Secured)

Good Evening FICO Community, Well two months ago I received a mailer for a Bank of America Secured card offer. The beauty of this offer is that I only had to pay $99.00 and they would give me $500 CL. I read it twice to ensure I was reading the exact thing, and I was. With that new source of information, I decided to take a chance as this would lead me to having a Prime card with the current cards in my wallet. Well anyway, weeks pasted and no card, but a letter stating that I had been declined. I was kind of deflated, but two weeks ago I received a letter from BOA indicating that they had made an error with several online applications. Could it be, I was actually going to receive a card. Long story short, I called and they said they still had my application under review. Yesterday, in the mail I received my shiney BOA Visa with card member status 15. I almost cried! To some, that would not be big deal; however, I have only had my scores go over 600 once and that was at the time I applied online. Now they have dipped 20 points below, but I plan on paying off the balances I have. My real questions are; does anyone else have this card and if so did they increase it after a year or so?

I totally agree with you in regards to spending a little and PIF. Unfornately, I have balances on my CAP cards that I have to get down before I charge on the BOA. I am very excited to have received it as I never thought I would with my scores. I believe in second chances and I believe this and my Discover Secure are opportunities for prime credit offers again. Bank of America Past Due Question

Hello Everyone! So not to long ago I product changed my Cash Rewards to a Travel Rewards card and had automatic payments set up on my Cash Rewards but did not realize that the automatic payments did not transfer over to my new card. Now it makes sense as it's a new card #. I was lucky enough to catch it before the next statement and just set up a payment and auto pay. My question is would this count as a derogatory mark on my credit report? Will it also effect my history with BOA? I've never missed a payment so not sure how this works. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Something similar happened to me with Amazon store card. I had entered the bank account number incorrectly so my paid in full did nothing. Called immediately and explained what had happened and corrected my account number. No negatives appeared anywhere. That was Synchrony. I suggest calling Bank of America asap and explain and cite your payment record. Good luck!
