Cant make a pdf from a postscript anymore!!??

I keep getting this error..How do i overcome it?

It looks like the job is being cancelled because of the missing fonts.
In Distiller, are the job options set to Cancel the job if the font is missing? Do the Font folder locations include folders where those fonts are found?
Is this all PS files, or just one PS file? Or just one application?

With Acrobat you do it exactly the same way as in earlier versions.
Adobe Reader cannot create PDF documents in any way.

How are you creating the file, exactly?

I am not too sure of how i can create an instance. Samples given are in VB, not in VBS.

How can I make a pdf from a frame in Indesign CS3

Is it possible to make a pdf-file from a selected frame in a Indesign-document?
Way, way back we were able to do this in Quark Xpress by using a plugin.
Is there a plugin like this available for Indesign (CS3) ?

Please define "editable"? Do you mean "fillable", so that a person can easily type in the blanks? That doesn't seem the right job for Photoshop.

Can I make ONE pdf file from those 4 images at one single stroke ?
(I have PS CS4 EXTENDED)

The answer is no, you would need Photoshop CS2 or CS3 to do this. This function was removed in Photoshop CS4 and CS5
You can create the PDF in Bridge though.

Can't pinch and zoom pdfs from HTML Resources anymore

After Folio Viewer Update there is no pinch and zoom in pdf from HTML-Resources.
Before the Update everything works fine in my Folios. Has anybody the same problem?
I rebuild a Folio V32, Only vertical, Standard PDF - same Problem. (iOS8.0.2. Ipad)

When I make a PDF from an AI file invariably I accidentally edit the PDF, not the AI file

[I'm a long-time user of Illustrator and the creative suite/cloud.]
When I make a PDFx file in illustrator I always "view PDF after saving". Invariably -- even when I rename the PDF -- I inadvertantly start editing the PDF as though it is an illustrator file, which the software permits. Of course, the source AI file isn't updated and I end up saving the revised PDF back to an illustrator file. It's a pain, confusing what little workflow management I have.
Although PDFs and AI's are essentially the same, I always consider the AI file the core source file and use the PDF for client review.
Is there a way to turn off editing of a PDF when I'm inside illustrator?

That seems to work. The PDF that is previewed is an acrobat file and not an illustrator file. I can't edit this [thankfully]. Unfortunately, just more to remember to do
There's no chec box in preferences that shuts off the feature I originally asked about?

I have the PDF file local and select it from the browse
button.
The path is absolute.
The address that IE shows is a MSN search for the PDF file
name - eg the file name is Students with learning difficulties.pdf
it goes to a MSN search and looks for Students with learning
difficulties.pdf web pages.
I test this in preview and does the above mentioned.
Do I need to save the PDF in a different location so
captivate can access it?
