Cant open CS6 with CC

I really hope someone can help me here.
I have a huge project for a huge client that I have to make some changes on later this month.
The AE project is 12 mb, but the project folder with all the avid AAF files, C4D renders etc is 194 gigs. I brought the project folder back out of storage onto my local drive, but now the project won't open. I am now on version CC, the project is CS6.
Ive tried everything I can think of, but to no avail. When I try to open it, the "open project" window opens, the bar sits at 1%, then nothing more. I have to crash stop it. I have also tried importing into a new project; same thing. I thought perhaps because the footage is much, it might take a while, so left it going overnight. In the morning still not open.
I fear it has something to do with the Avid AAF files. Is there some trick with CC to open a CS6 file with AAF footage?
Please Help! This is really worrying...

Sure. You can download the CC-enabled CS6 versions by manually selecting them from the CC website under the application icon. Or you can try this:

You should at least install the latest Firefox 3.6.28 version for your Mac OS X 10.4 PPC computer instead of the current Firefox 3.6.18 version.

Cant open .mdi with any mac application

how do you open a .mdi format with a mac.. is it possible? i tried changing it to a .tif on my pc, but still cant open ... help

MDI files are Microsoft Office Document Imaging - a proprietary MS format
that I believe they were trying to get accepted in favour of PDF format -
it's a similar sort of philosophy, except that where PDF works on just about
every platform available, MDI only works in Office for Windows, v2003 and
higher (in fact, the MDI print driver appears to have been removed from
Office 2007). They are far more than " Microsoft's version of the .tiff
format".
Unfortunately, there are no ways to read these docs on a mac - even the
venerable GraphicConverter can't handle them. Can't you get your
correspondents to send the data in another format? Almost nobody I know uses
MDI. If they are scanned paper documents, then TIFF4 or PDF are far better
(and more widely available) alternatives.

You need to re-install iphoto as it is missing parts of itself.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

TS3276 cant open mail with docked icon

I just received my new iMac and can't open the mail window when I click on the stamp mail icon docked at the bottom of the screen. All I get are the mail tabs at the top of the screen where I have to click on Message viewer to open up the mail window. Anybody have a fix to this? I want to be able to click on the Mail icon and my mail window opens. Thanks.

Cant open a file made with older aftereffects

i just downloaded this file from the internet it is a aftereffects template. i downloaded the aep file and tried opening with AE cs6. it said that it cant open cuz its made with a old version of AE. I am pretty sure that it should have backwards compatibility, i mean i would understand if CS4 cant open CS6 file. but if CS6 cant open CS4 file that's weird, and i am really confused.

Are you sure the file is CS4 and not AE4. CS6, according to the documentation CS6 can open AE7 and newer files.
The file could also be corrupted.

You cant open them with your phone file manager.

Just to assist those who might help you with this, please give the exact version of Photoshop CS6 you are running, for instance CS6 13.0.1.3.
I had already asked for that in my previous post, but I guess you didn't quite know what I was referencing when I typed "exact version".
Sorry, I cannot help you myself because I don't deal with that kind of 3D images, don't use Windows, and in all frankness I'm not quite following your last post.
Also please give the exact model of your graphics card, so they can check whether it is on the list of cards tested by Adobe.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
