Cant open downloads with fire fox

Let me start by saying lets keep this as simple as possible please.
I cant open downloads with fire fox ,I have a gateway with windows vista 32 bit , and there are sometimes when i try to try some other things where i get ,,this is not a windows 32 app .. please help and keep it real simple for me to understand please

You should at least install the latest Firefox 3.6.28 version for your Mac OS X 10.4 PPC computer instead of the current Firefox 3.6.18 version.

I would backup, restore to factory settings, restore from the backup and then try again. If that fails, restore again but do not use the backup - restore as new. If the iPad functions OK as new, then slowly rebuild the iPad adding your apps, music etc, methodically to see if you can pin down what might be causing the problem.

I know we already had this feature, but it was through a modification, not an official feature. It is now an official feature and it is implemented quite well in my opinion. Also new - you can now modify the title/subject of threads that you posted right from the forum display - just click and hold on the link to the thread, and it'll change to a textbox. Then just click out of the box or hit enter to save!

Error while recording with fire fox (4.0) browser.

I am from ACS - MCSP QA Team,
I am getting the following error message , while recording with Fire Fox (4.0) Browser.
*"Cannot get a connection from the browser helper after 15 seconds. Do you want to*

Note: Before record , I Set the default browser as fire fox.

How do I remove Fire Fox as the default setting on my eMac computer. I am unable to open some files I need to open with Fire Fox.

I receive a newsletter that has information I need. Since I chose Fire Fox as my default setting, I haven't been able to open it. It was so easy making Fire Fox my default, but not so easy to remove it.

Icannot open any programs with fir fox -help

I cannot open anything with firefox. I tried to uninstall it so I could download again,, but I couldn't uninstall as it said I had to close flirefox before proceeding. As I did not have it open and I kept getting the same message I was unable to proceed. Can you help.

To clarify: the desktop icons have the Mozilla firefox icon and all the .exe files in windows explore also have the Mozilla firefox icon.

Autohotkey not compatible with fire fox 4.0.1

I have had problems running my macros from autohotkey in firefox. My Autohotkey macros worked perfectly in earlier versions of Fire Fox. Is anyone having the same issue? Tried to downgrade back to fire fox 3.6 but then my addons wouldn't work either.

When I try to open foxtabs, all I get is a black screen. I went to add ons for firefox and scrolled down to find foxtabs and seen a message with foxtabs that it was incompatible with firefox 5.0. I uninstalled foxtabs and installed speed dial which works almost the same as foxtabs. Thank you for your reply.

I would like to know which version of Acrobat are you using?
If it is Acrobat 10 , go to the "General" settings, and uncheck "Activate the protected mode at start up ".
If this does not work ,try uninstalling Acrobat once with the help of Cleaner Tool .

The try re installing it .Make sure all the third part software are disabled while you install Acrobat .

How can I go back to Fire Fox version 6 or 5 my school's website does not currently work with Fire fox 7

I just found out through my school that the online campus does not support Fire Fox 7. So I would like to go back to Fire Fox 6 which is what I had before. My school does say that it supports version 5, but 6 seemed to work just fine. Either way how do I go back to those versions? If you want the nitty gritty details, every time I attempt to send emails while logged into my campus account it won't send them. I don't want some stupid app or some crazy version where I have to have all of these accounts and stuff. I just want Fire Fox 6 or 5 back that's all.

Thanks for the answer. I am not new to IOS software but I don't really ever bother with it, have discovered how little I take advantage of the i-phones capability, in reality I still only really use it to phone, text, check emails, listen to music and look on internet. I'm not keen on jailbreaking it as I don't trust it to work so normally just update and leave it at that. Only reason I wanted to downgrade was because the update had stopped my bluetooth working but Kilted Tim solved that problem for me so am now not interested in downgrading software. I quite liked the things that IOS 5.1 gave me but wasn't happy with fact that bluetooth stopped working in car as it caused me problems. One day I might try and work out exactly what I-phones can do but on the basis that it's a phone all I really want it to do is phone, if that bit works I'm happy.

I can't even click on the open. Click tools, downloads, right click item but won't highlight open word. Also I can't restore computer to any earlier date. Yesterday I tried to to install samsung kies to work with my S-3 phone. When I click on that is says it had corrupted files. . I then restored mozilla. Nothing. I didn't lose any thing like history, browser history, cookies. Still nothing. Then later yesterday trying to follow so steps from mozilla I lost everything in history, browser history, cookies. I noticed I have on the desktop a old firefox data 2 folder with stuff in it. Tried to restore in safe mode and click on the downloads. No luck. Thought let me upgrade mozilla. Can't open download. And everytime I do download it says cancel first then I have to retry. Not sure if this samsung kies has anything to do with it. When to add remove programs and its not there. But it did download and 2 icons on desktop. Can't delete that program......

how do you open a .mdi format with a mac.. is it possible? i tried changing it to a .tif on my pc, but still cant open ... help

MDI files are Microsoft Office Document Imaging - a proprietary MS format
that I believe they were trying to get accepted in favour of PDF format -
it's a similar sort of philosophy, except that where PDF works on just about
every platform available, MDI only works in Office for Windows, v2003 and
higher (in fact, the MDI print driver appears to have been removed from
Office 2007). They are far more than " Microsoft's version of the .tiff
format".
Unfortunately, there are no ways to read these docs on a mac - even the
venerable GraphicConverter can't handle them. Can't you get your
correspondents to send the data in another format? Almost nobody I know uses
MDI. If they are scanned paper documents, then TIFF4 or PDF are far better
(and more widely available) alternatives.

You need to re-install iphoto as it is missing parts of itself.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
