You can create a new account on her iPad by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and entering a different Apple ID (which will become your new iCloud ID). Don't turn any of the sync settings on in this account; just delete the account and choose Delete from My iPad if prompted. This will remove the new account from her iPad, but it will remain in iCloud. You can then sign in with this ID on the iCloud control panel for Windows and use the new account as your own. Note: you will only be able to create this new account on her iPad if she has not already created the maximum number of accounts on it.

That sounds like IE wants you to install the QuickTime ActiveX control.
Go back to the page you're getting the message on. At the bottom of the screen, can you see a long rectangular box asking you to allow/install something? (Sorry, it's been a while since I've seen the box in question, so I can't recall the precise wording.)
If so, allow/OK in that box. After the ActiveX control has gone in, can you see the videos in IE? -

Why won't my SWF file attached to html play in Safari but work fine in Firefox?
I've tested the files in dreamweaver, on all browsers, and they work fine. But when I uploaded them to my site they only work in Firefox. The crazy thing is when I check the file in file management they work just not from the main site. What am I missing?
I have a MacBook Pro bought in 2010. I had been burning Sony DVD+R's without any problem.
Then I ran out of blanks and bought a cake of Sony DVD-R's. Put one into the drive and the
macbook spit it out. Launched Toast then inserted the blank again and Toast says "You can't write
to this disk". Quit Toast and out comes the blank.
The system info for the DVD drive says it can read/write -R, -R DL. +R, +R DL, etc. Anything.
I don't know what the problem is, but it is not a failing or dirty drive. I don't think it is a problem with
the blank DVDs either. It is probably a compatibility problem between MacBook Pros and
Snow Leopard/Leopard and -R DVDs. -

Someone said to open the application while holding down command + option and select the last option, but that did not work.Try downloading the latest version of iPhoto Library Manager and rebuilding. It create a new copy of the library which drops stuff like slideshows but if you can't get it to work I would try iphoto library manger.

It's no longer pre-installed for a number of reasons. Not the least of which is Adobe Flash requires such frequent security updates that any version installed at the factory is pretty much garunteed to be dangerously out of date by the time you get the machine in your hands.
Just go to adobe.com and download the latest version of flash player. -

So I go to make a new Apple ID, then go to my newly downloaded iCloud Control Panel for PC, and it says that this is a valid Apple ID but not an iCloud ID. I figured the only way to make an iCloud ID is to make an account on my iPod... BACK TO THE START! I can't because it gives me an error after I have created my account saying: "This device is no longer eligible for creating a free iCloud account"

When I select print from any website article while in Firefox it only prints a blank page. When I open same web pages using Safari, they print fine. Documents in other appliations print fine. Only Firefox documents print blank page.
Quit Safari.
Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:
☞ If running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar.
☞ If running an older version of Mac OS X, select Go ▹ Go to Folder… from the Finder menu bar and enter “~/Library” (without the quotes) in the text box that opens.
Delete the following items from the Library folder:
Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Preferences/com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences.plist
Preferences/QuickTime Preferences
Relaunch Safari and test. -
I have an iPod Touch and am going on a cruise where I have been told that Safari won't work on the ship so I need to download Firefox. My iPod said that Safari cna't download it from the Firefox website. I found "Mercury Web Browser" Firefox, in the app store (free) and am wondering if that is what I need? - I never heard that but it may be true. It could be that for some reason Safari can't be used to log into the network. Once logged in, Safari should work fine
- However, I see nothing that say the Mercury Web Browser is Firefox. I would contact the cruise line and ask if and how you use the ship's['s wifi for an iPhone or iPad (it will apply to iPod touch) -
I can't seem to use the 'Check seats' link on the Delta Airlines site when I use Firefox but Safari works fine. I get the message 'not available at this time' when using Firefox but when I go to Safari it works fine. I love Firefox but this sucks!
That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Sync of your calendar requires Microsoft of work with internet standards, in this case CALDAV. Microsoft have a 20 year or more inability to work with standards, apparently interoperability is not a goal at Microsoft.
So either use Microsoft products to talk to Microsoft web sites, or Use a procider that can work with web standards. Yahoo and Google are the obvious others.
Make sure to request CALDAV from Microsoft however, they will not learn their customers are unhappy if you do not tell them -
