Cant play flash games.

For about a year now I have been trying everything. I am on a second computer since then but after a Windows 7 update I lost the ability to play some facebook games like war of mercenaries and poker games like pureplay poker. I have tried everything in
EVERY forum. I have an older computer running XP in my garage and it works fine. I would REALLY like to know if there is a way to fix this.

do you use any kind of content blocking software like addblock+ / ghostery? These products can block flash based programs and you need to check their support site for how to remove them from blocking on valid sites.
Have you reseted your Internet settings? From control panel - internet options - advanced - reset
Have you removed all previous FLASH-player versions and tested your flash player works as intended

When I try to play flash games it uses my integrated Intel gpu not my dedicated Nvidia one. Other games use the correct gpu, however. Is there any way that I could possibly force flash to use the correct gpu? I can't change it through the Nvidia settings as it is apart of browsers and I can't change browser gpus.

Unable to find ANY GPU settings in Firefox.
I don't use IE or Chrome, so I can't say how to even check them.
Nvidia forums have NOTHING on forcing a browser to use a specific GPU, and I know Flash has nothing in settings to do it.

Computer is slow while playing flash games

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Cant play online games anymore

Hi,
Ever since I installed the new update for OSX, I cant play online games. Warcraft says "unable to connect to battle net". Medal of honor just crashes when I click "browse servers". Quake 3 says "no response from master server". Was working fine just a few days ago and the only change I can think that I made to my system was installing the OSX update. Could that be the problem? anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it?

1. Click on the Go menu in the menu bar and select the Home menu item.
2. Open the Library folder.
3. Open the Preferences folder.
4. Look for and delete the Preferences file and the Battle.net file if it is there.
What ports do you have open in the Firewall and Router?
In order to connect to Battle.net and allow others to connect to you the following ports need to be opened:
Diablo: TCP and UDP Port 6112
StarCraft/Brood War: TCP and UDP Port 6112
Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition: TCP and UDP Port 6112
Diablo II/Lord of Destruction: TCP Port 6112 and Port 4000.
Warcraft III: TCP Ports 6112 to 6119, unless you have changed the default in the Options/Gameplay screen for port forwarding.
Some firewall programs have preset ports available in their configurations that are often necessary to be open. One in particular is a connection to your DNS server. This usually takes place on UDP port 53.

Cant play online games

for some reason i cant play internet games on my mac any more and i really don't know why after when i upgraded my mac from snow leopard to mountain lion it stopped working with internet games

Does anybody have problems with the Macbook Pro Retina 15' fans being really loud even when playing flash games like candy crush or tetris?

So after a few months of using the MBP 15' Retina, I've discovered that the fans are incredibly loud even when playing flash games like candy crush or tetris.. are any of you guys having the same problem? Like all of a sudden from be quiet to unbelievably loud just as the games load. So yeah, hopefully someone has the same problem as I am having.
What I was thinking was that the MBP Retina 15' is such a beefed up laptop, it shouldn't require that much CPU to run flash games that are not even THAT graphically intensive to which making the fans that loud..

Believe it or not, Flash REALLY isn't the issue.
It's hardware makers making devices with less processor performance and requiring software makers to fit into a certain requirements of such. Namely iPhone, iPods and iPads.
Flash is designed to give a lot of features and work across many operating systems, browsers and platforms as a write once solution.
Flash has a certain level of processor performance requirement, which hardware makers like Apple want to build less powerful machines using less expensive processors.
Apple has removed Coverflow 3D effects from iTunes and discontinued the 17" MacBook Pro, leaving only the 15" as having a more powerful 3D capable graphics capability.
So Apple is obviously on a anti-heat/performance quest as they further thin up their hardware, trying to kill Flash by punishing Mac users who want to run it.
Flash runs without a fan sound on my older Mac with dedicated GPU and older OS X verison, no sweat.
Head to your System Preferences > Energy Saver and if you have it, uncheck Automatic Graphics switching, this will use the dedicated GPU and shorted battery life, but if your on power should reduce the heat and fan noise.
Another option is to use SMC fan control and set the fan default speed slightly faster, this will keep the machine slightly cooler and not trigger the higher fan speed as often.
If your running 10.8, you will need to System Preferences > Security > downloads to "Anywhere"

If it's saying that you need to close firefox before you can continue, do this:
# Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del
# Click Task Manager
# After this, you'll want to left click on the process which says "firefox.exe".
# You'll also want to close ANYTHING that says "plugin-container.exe", as this is what holds firefox's plug in's and is part of it.
If what you've said above is true and it's complaining that you need to close firefox first, then this is all you have to do.
Alternatively, if you can't find task manager, simply restart your computer; Firefox doesn't boot on start.
You can also make sure that ALL windows are closed from Firefox, including the download window. Any of the above should fix your problem.
I also noticed you stated you're using firefox 5.0. The most recent version is 6.0. You can go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/ to download the newest version.

No signal while playing flash games

Hi,
i need help with a problem. Everytime i play a flash game (casino) on my pc my monitor goes black en i see the message 'no signal'. My computer is still on but doesn't respond to anything. Even on/off doesn't work. I have to pull the plug and restart the computer. Any1 know what could be wrong? Every driver etc is up to date and it only happens with flash games. Games like world of warcraft have no problem.

thx for your response. I tried what you said but after an hour of playing i got the problem again. Some times it happens after 4 seconds and sometimes after 4 hours. Btw this is my second pc were i have this problem. My old pc had windos xp and now i have a pc with windows 7, 2.60ghz and 8gb ram. I replaced the ati radeon 512 mb videocard with a nvidea 2gb but still have the problem. I tried it with and without antivirus etc but nothing helps. Again games like world of warcraft have no problem at all. Only (casino) flash games i downloaded and the ones i play online.

Just want to tell you guys flash web browser on iPad is in appstore for a long time now.
It is called "ISWIFTER", I just want to share it for people who does not know it. Well if you knew it already, good.
But you need a strong wifi to be able to enjoy it.
It also works on any iOs device such as iPhones, iPod touches. Enjoy it.

But it does use Flash to play it, the App creator simply packaged/embedded the Adobe Flash Player with his content.
Apple allows Adobe Flash, and Adobe Flash Content, Apple just makes the developer include the Flash Player inside the App.
So yes, it is a Flash game, just played inside an app instead of a webpage, but its the same flash player.

Hi, have a hp dc 7700 USDT with a DC 7700 SFF board in it, 4 gig ram, 750 gig HD, xp pro, 32 bit, just recently windows started shutting down the pc and restarting on it's own only when playing farmville, (flash game).. really weird.. what I have done >> I have done a full malware & virus scan with advest, a couple threats found and deleted, did a chkdsk on it, performed a restore to a earlier date, still have the same problem.. ran JRT and no threats found, has anyone seen this before?? other than farmville, there is no other problems with it, my other dc7700 cmt's don't have a problem when doing farmville.. have to fix it,wife's pc..

Have you checked to see if the computer is overheating while gaming. Games are intense and can cause heat to rise. This can definitely cause the computer to restart unexpectedly. There are many FREE programs that you can use to check the temps.

I have been working on this issue for over a month now, I've tried everything that I could find on the net. I've uninstalled/installed flash player numerous times. The last fix that worked, for a while anyway was, I checked the box in IE tools/advanced; Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering. That seemed to work for a week but my gameplay progressively got slower over time and now it barely loads. I don't understand how it got worse over time. I used to play these simple FB games without any issues, now they're choppy, slow, and barely load. I have Windows Vista, IE 9, and the newest flash player 11.0.1.152. I've downloaded a registry cleaner and a Malware cleaner, went through all those motions. I've scanned and defragged ; disabled all the add-ons in IE 9. I cleared all the cache's I could find. I can't figure out what the issue is; I used to play these simple games without any issues
