Cant publish HELP~!

Quick question--I just switch computers and transfered my HOME folder to an external HD. This will be the media drive that I use for all my movies. I just created another iMovie and tried to create another iWeb page with the finished product. When I do, a completely new iWeb site comes up? How do i get my new movie to open up on my old webpage?

You need to go back and get your Domain File from the original Home folder; the file is in this location in that Home folder. Transfer this file to your new machine and place it in the same path in your Home folder, replacing the Domain file that is there now.
Just a word about your work in iWeb...remember that all pages created in the application, all data and every element, is retained in this single Domain File. Varkgirl has given us a great little automator app which can be downloaded free here for duplicating this file. Use this app to duplicate and store backups of your Domain file frequently.

How do I search for a phrase in a published Help?

This is probably a very basic question, but I've been unable
to search for a phrase in a published Help. For instance, if I want
to search for the phrase:
subject information, I've tried "subject information",
(subject information), subject NEAR information. I've received the
same list of "hits" for all of these, but when I search for the
phrase in any of the topics, it doesn't seem to exist.
I am using Adobe RoboHelp HTML 6 and use the WebHelp layout.

Basically you have two options.
1] Use ZoomSearch as described on my site. It is low cost and
gives much improved search options.
2] Upgrade to RH8 as that introduced phrase searching in
webhelp.

I think this has do with the digital booklet having a media type of "Music" instead of "Books". If you do a Get Info on the document you will see this under the Options tab. Unfortunately, this is greyed out for me and I cannot change it. Could it be that because of the Media Type for this file being Music instead of Books, iBooks is causing the download to fail?

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

There is nothing to help with. There is no way to view the pictures in PhotoStream from the iCloud website.

I cant publish the script!!help!

i want to create a veiw in the client database,so i create a script ant then publish it(in mdw).
at first,everything is ok,and i can find the view in the client db.
but ,then i have to modify the view and then i republish it .but now,i cannt create the view in the client db,and i cannt find the script in the mobile manger !!
what's the problem?

By default scripts only ret run on client database CREATION (ie: first sync when it is creating the tables and database files), updates to scripts do not trigger a re-run (most scripts consists of create view, create sequence etc. and therefore would generate an error if executed more than once)
if you make changes to the script then on the client delete the odbc, concli.odb and <application>.obd files, and then run msync to re-cretae them
For development where you are going around in circles a few times, i personally would create a sql script eg:
drop view x;
create view x ..........;
then copy this to the client (if the client is windows you can create the script there, but PDAs etc. tend to have some issues editing files other than .doc/.txt)
go into msql, sql tab and in the entry field type
/<path>/script.sql
and press the execute button. this will run your script. Only once the script is stable would i include it in the application and test the download part.
as for the script not being visible, mobile manager does not always tell the full truth - if you are using MDW you should still see the script definition

Cant Publish site through IWEB 09 FTP server in my computer

Hi everyone, I have trouble publishing my site in FTP server in my computer. Each time I tried, its saying my password is not correct.I have Macbook pro 10.5.6 intel. I tried publishing my site through another computer and it did!. I dont know whats wrong with my computer. I have Protec Mac antivirus installed. do I have to remove it? I have tried to disable its scan and still not successful. I have my own domain and purchased a 3rd party hosting service.

thanks for the reply. yes I can publish it using local folder. But the web site address in browser is sooooo long and starts with file://user/admin/folder/name of my folder/name of my domain name/page name in my web site. Not a good business image and looks so unprofessional I have specifically purchased a domain name and I would prefer it would show up when a client type my web address.
What I dont understand is that It has published from my husbands computer. Isnt the reason why we buy software and install in our computer is for us to be able to use it whenever we want to? (of course with compliance to rules and regulations) I have Ilife 09 and cant use the IWEB. I know that something is causing this "behaviour" in my computer because I am able to upload my site from another computer. I have to borrow my husband's computer everytime I need to update my small business web site.
can anyone suggest something I can do to resolve this issue?

.exe file disappears immediately after publishing, i cant publish. It only happens with 1 project.

I just spent a long time doing work, hit publish to check it out and i cant find the published file. I publish again but watch the folder and the .exe published file appears but then immidiately disappears after its done publishing. Other projects seem fine. I have no idea what to do, i tried copying and pasting my .dir file and opening the copy and publishing it but the same thing happens.

edot: apparently deleting one of my .png images from the cast, even though it was never used, seemed to fix it mostly. I get permision errors sometimes though.

Live Webcam and Netstream.publish HELP!

Hello! Im new to the forums. Im working on a project for work and im using FMS 3 and AS3. I've gotten to a point where google cant help me anymore. When I get my webcamera with flash and allow the camera to be used it then opens a netstream to the FMS server, which for some reason doesnt work all the way. I can see the new stream being published but i just stops and you cant view it. Here is my code.

Need Siena/VS publishing Help / Support

Hello!
I get an error in VS on a New update of my Siena app. Last time i did this, Siena was Beta 2. Now it is Beta 3, and I get errors whan trying to make a Publishing Package in VS.

I have tried to write replys in that post, and I have sent an email to SienaCom AT outlook DOT com, With link to all the files in my app. Have not got any replis, not even that they have resieved the recuest for help and will look at it.
Where else can I get any support for my problem. I get demotivated of not beeing able to publish, and make my app better.
Just waiting for some help from somewhere. But am not sure where to get it, if no response here.
Hope someone can help me with the problem, or point me in the right direction to someone that can, and will help.

Here is the test results, Fail on this one thing, the rest is PASS. Have not failed before, when I used Beta2 to publish.
Here is the error in Event Viewer, and it talks about default.html…. Line 219, Column 9. …. Whatever that is. Is there a way to show Lines and Colums in VS?

I am building report using xml publisher. Problem i facing was ,
1. I created the template in RTF and attached to data definition
for eg: my rtf is
sno item quantity price ( I created this field in table structure and mapped to xml data)
Total Price ( this also i am getting from data definition)
The below is sample constant sentence for my client and typed just below Total Price ( field i mentioned above)

2. When i ran the report, if my data definition return 5 lines means , i am getting PDF output Correctly in single page (1st page)
3) If my data definition returns lines more than 8 lines means, I am getting PDF output with Table structure values with item, in 1 st page and Constant sentence in 2nd page of PDF
4) If my data definition returns lines between 5 and 8 means, I am getting PDf output with table structure values with item and some of Constant sentence of my client in 1 st page and few of the constanst sentence in 2nd page.
Actually my need
Even if the data definitions exceeds more than 5 lines the constant sentence should be placed either in the first page or in the next page based on the no. of lines in the data definition.
How to resolve this... any approach most welcome. Wat changes i have to make.

XML Publisher Help

We currently have a payslip report that has been developed using Oracle reports, but for this to run we have to change our NLS_LANG setting from UTF8 to WE8ISO8859P1.
The problem with this is to apply patches Oracle have told us we need to have the NLS_LANG set to UTF8.
As a result Oracle have said that:
The only available workaround for generating PDF on a UTF8 character set instance is to install and utilize the XML Publisher product or upgrade to E-Business Suite to Release 12.
We don't have any plans to upgrade to Release 12, so I am looking to use XML Publisher. I have a couple of questions:
Is this an add-on?
Where is the best place to obtain navigation guides and tutorials to teach myself this?
I have had a look at some of the pre-defined templates already and I am not sure how to create my own rtf file so that my required fields are passed to the template.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
