Cant reactivat an old photoshop version

I gave my uncle the old photoshop version 8 and deactive both installations on my computer. I deinstalled the version on my computers too. I buy a new version 11 and installed it, it is working fine. But I can active the Version 8 on the other compüter from my oncle. But we receive some warnings that the version is not activated. And we have a permaned internet connetion too.
Only the deactivation is highlighted under the help button
Any Idea?

You need to contact support directly for activation/deactivation and other installation issues. It’s usually possible to start a live chat, if an Adobe agent is free, and often to get the problem fixed right away. You will need your serial number.

  • Old Photoshop version download (Photoshop CS, Photoshop 8.0)

    Hello to everyone,
i work for a small editorial company, i found out that we have some old Photoshop CS (Photoshop 8.0) licences and i want to use one of them, but the installation cds are missing.
Is there a place where i can download the installation file? I tried on the ftp server but i cant find my version, only more recent ones.
    Thanks in advice.

If I understand correctly, a license for Photoshop CS should entitle you to use CS2.

  • Old Photoshop version 6.0

Hello, not quite new to this forum but haven't been here a long while.
I want to reinstate my old Photoshop 6.0 onto my iMac. I just installed OS 9.2.2 on it so I could run this old app and it tells me it needs to find OTutilityLib. Phone support from Adobe could not help me out. Does anyone have an idea on this? It would be greatly appreciated. I don't need this app very often anymore and can't afford to buy the newest version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This is an Apple issue...

  • Acrobat Reader X cant's save "old" PDF versions

I'm creating PDF documents in PDF Format 1.4 for compatibility reasons.
The published documents will be opened in Acrobat Reader. If the user is using Acrobat reader X and saves the document it will be stored in PDF Version 1.5.
These PDF 1.5 documents could not be managed in the following automated process steps.
    (That's why I'm creating PDF 1.4)
How can I keep the PDF version saving a document in Acrobat READER X.
    Regards
    J.B.

We know that Acrobat Pro or Standard can save version 1.4.
We have more than 30.000 computer installations worldwide.
This would be a good deal for adobe to install the acrobat product instead of the acrobat reader only for viewing pdf documents correctly ;-(((
For security reasons and new features we are forced to update the acrobat reader version
For compatibility reasons we should use old versions

  • Download link for old photoshop version

Need link to download Photoshop Elements 6.0 to new computer

There is no known download available for PSE 6.  Version 7 is the oldest available.

  • I have a psd file made in Photoshop CS5 which I have to send to a Graphic Designer who works with the old Photoshop Version CS3. He can`t open the psd.

What to I have to do now? Is there the same possibility as in InDesign to export it as an Interchange Format (IDML), so that he can open the document without any problems?
    Thank you for your help...

Those are the three possible settings – which one have you chosen?
Regardless, if the psd file has been saved in Photoshop CS5 with Maximized Compatibility it should be able to be opened in Photoshop CS3.

  • Old photoshop version downloads not visible in My Products

I have purchased both PHotoshop 6 and 7 years ago thru Adobe.com, and need to download a copy to my new laptop but there are no download links.
    thanks ,Del

Nope, forget that. You will have to find them elsewhere. That is eons ago and they no longer exist even on the Adobe servers, so this method won't even work. That aside, they probably won't install on contemporary operating systems, anyway. You may be looking for something that is bound to end up in frustration and failure...

  • Old Photoshop Version

Can I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 with a windows 7 pc with a 64 bit processor

You are certainly welcome to try.  Feel free to post back any error messages you received.  Please do consider though that Windows 7 was not even created when Photoshop Elements 2.0 was the current software so it may not function on such an advanced operating system.

  • Photoshop 'version 8' update to CS5

I have an old Photoshop 'version 8' I have been useing for a long time.  Now that I have Lion on my mac I can't use it.  Can I update it to CS5?  When I go to the update it doesn't list Photoshop 8, but I hear it's the same as CS2.   I have the serial #  and it's under my name.

Photoshop 8 = Photoshop CS and that is not eligible for any upgrades anymore. You will need to buy a full new version.

Sorry, I do not understand your question.  What is your operating system?  Do you face any problems during the installation?

I downloaded premier- but now I cant find it in my apps- I uninstalled the old trial version, where is the new version I just downloaded?

Doing a factory reset will delete your Firefox install. Even if you move the app to the sdcard.

  • After trial I don't want Photoshop CC, how do I get my old purchased version of Lightroom 5 to work?

I previously purchased Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5 as stand alone software. I tried Photoshop CC for the trial month, which has passed. I am able to use my old Photoshop CS6, but when I try to use my old, purchased version of Lightroom 5 I just get a message that my trial month is over. How do I return to using my previously purchased, stand alone version of Lightroom 5?

It will be necessary for you to uninstall Lightroom and then reinstall from this website:
    Product updates
Once you do that you will be able to start right where you left off.

    Hi all,
I have CC subscription, and have recently upgraded photoshop to CC 2014, how can I uninstall the OLD photoshop CC version?
    Many thanks

I usually keep my old versions until I'm certain I no longer need them.

Before installing new activation-free version of CS2, during uninstall of old Photoshop, should I keep or remove preferences and should I use standard or advanced uninstall?

Thank you very much for that info.
Also, I believe I will need to choose the Advanced uninstall option because the Standard uninstall states it will keep activation data.  As I will need to use the new activation number, I think Advanced is the more thorough way to go.
    Thanks again.

  • Photoshop elements compared to old photoshop 7?

Hi, I've just updated my macbook pro, and cant put my old photshop 7 onto it.  really cant warrent spending on the expensive version of photoshop, so am thinking of elements.   So, just wanted to see if anyone could help with a few questions.  All i need photoshop for is for cropping, a bit of re-touching, and for desinging very simple layouts (for small adverts, cards etc) with some text on, thats it really.  all very easy to do  in 7, so would elements do for me?
    thanks very much.

It probably would, but the best advice i can give is to download the 30
day trial version of photoshop elements 9 and see if it does.
