If it is a windows computer and is a 32 bit machine then you wont be able to see after effects on the creative cloud app.

I uninstalled After Effects, then, I wanted to reinstall it for some issues. My creative cloud then says though that I already have it. What do I do?

Search for the Adobe Cleaner application (not sure of its precise location), run it and start all over again. Make sure you have your subscription info.

Problems reinstalling after effects

so I got adobe cs3 master edition..
anyway, every program installed fine at first.. but here's the thing..
I had adobe after effects 7.0.. and a whole lot of plugins and presets.. and I tried to put the plugins and presets into adobe after effects cs3.. but I did a really bad job copying and pasting.. which totally killed the program. So.. I tried reinstalling it. It worked fine, but then got stuck on "repairing shared components".
so, I tried completely uninstalling it and then installing it again, and the same thing happens.
Does anyone know what's wrong?
some other things (don't know if they matter):
I have a vista laptop
I have plenty of memory left (like 88 gb)
I've waited about half an hour for it to finish "repairing shared components".. maybe it takes longer?

I have no clue what you did. It saddens me to say this, but the "Repair" function in the installer is useless, so most likely it has completely messed up everything. Therefore uninstall again and use the CS3 clean scripts before attempting a new install. Copying presets is ill-advised except for the ones you created yourself. Others from AE7 may not function at all in CS3, so there's no point in overwriting the ones the CS3 installer puts in place. As for your plugins - depending on what they are, a proper re-install of them may be required. Some plugins and plugin suites install additional files and store their paths in configuration files or the registry, so they may refuse to work without them.

Cant get after effects to install

Hi a bought Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 for the reason to get after effects but after i completed the installation the only application which did not download and install was after effects does anyone know how i can fix this as i only bought if for my work and it is a waste of money if i cant use it thanks

i am trying to install from adobe
i have windows vista 64-bit with 4GB RAM .
I installed it before on my com it works, but after i format my computer and want to install it back it shows this kind of message

Cant install After Effects

I downloaded a trial of After Effects CS3 and really never user it much. It expired and so without reading the readme file, I trashed it like most OS X applications.
My boss has bought a legit version of CS3 and am trying to install it. The problem is it wont install because it says it conflict 'with CS3' even though I trashed it.
I've used spotlight to try to find ALL After Effect files and trash them as well. The After Effects beta uninstaller doesn't work either, because of a 'database error'.
Is there a way I can successfully uninstall the beta version so that I can install the legit version?

That script erases ALL adobe apps doesn't it? I know that is an option. I guess that is what I will do, if there are no other options. I was hoping there was another way.

Your system does not meet the requirements if it doesn't show up. All video apps require a 64bit operating system, suitable processors, enough RAM and sufficient graphics hardware.

How do I reinstall After Effects?

I recently had a trial version of after effects and have since deleted it. I just purchased Creative Cloud and I do not have the option to download the program. I am only given the option to update. When I do that, the update fails due to the fact that it has since been deleted. Neverending circle right now. Any help?

i bought 1 single app (after effects) paid prepaid for one year.
install it on my iMac , but now i wanna install it also on my new macbook pro
but when i log in to CC and trying to download after effects it give me TRIAL mode!!
for some reason i never received a serial number or any code to activate my purchase ( i don't understand why)
i bought this full and paid in full...
this is cause me lots of major problems....
im also trying to get respond through the phone / chat ( NONE OF THESE METHODS ARE WORKING)
THIS is a frustrating situation for me right now as i need to use AE immediately.
please let me know whats the solution for this
as i need to get it ASAP.

Make sure you are installing the Creative Cloud and not the standalone version.
From what you describe you do not appear to be in dire need of resolving this immediately to get work done, though it is certainly your right to pursue getting it resolved as fast as possible. If you have the trial version installed you can use that - it is fully functional. Also, if you have it installed on another machine you can use it on there as well.
