Cant remove database from respository

I have a database that was discovered on one node which had a disk failure and was moved to a new node. This node will not discover because it finds the same SID is already discovered. When I go to remove the database to do a rediscover I get an error requiring me to deregister events for that node (the old one) when I go to deregister the node I get deregistration pending. This stays and the node reapears on the event list. So this prevents me from removing the node. Since the node is no longer on the old node I get oracle 1034 error. Any got any ideas on how I should proceed?

Cant remove music from my iphone

I cant remove music from my iphone. I have tried de-selecting the sync all music from itunes and it removes all music except 27 songs that are not even songs I have put on my phone. They are from my wifes library. I assume they were added through the cloud. I have turned off all cloud options but still cant remove the 27 songs. Anyone have any ideas?

I have also tried using the touch and swipe method with no luck. I have tried selecting and de-selecting the manually manage music and videos option with no luck. I have read a post that someone resolved this by restoring the phone but I have text messages that I need so I was hoping there was another way to fix this issue.

I have 2 itunes accounts. One from when i was living in Australia and my new one as i've moved to the USA.
With the latest IOS upgrade to my phone, songs re-downloaded to my phone, and i cant remove them.
This is annoying as ****! Especially when i hook my phone up to the car to listen to music.
The songs that i cannot remove all have the cloud icon, i've tried logging into itunes under both accounts to nuke them but the songs in question do not appear under any login.
I am getting so close to going out and buying a standard MP3 player to use for the car instead of the iphone. Something so simple as deleting songs you no longer want to listen too should not be so freaking hard!!

And apparently not doing so.
Instead of reducing, you have told iTunes to sync additional content to the device.
Connect the device to the computer.
Open iTunes and select what you want to sync.
Sync the device.

Cant remove folders from side menu

I recently formated and reinstalled my mac. I backed up my user folder before formating so after the install I copied it back(following instructions from apple's web site). But now, I can't remove folders from finder's side menu. I can drag a folder from the side menu to the trash and it'll disappear but next time I open finder the folder is back in the side menu. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you Ctrl click on the folder you want removed in the sidebar and in the menu that pops up, you should see "Remove From Sidebar". Try that. Also, make sure you empty the Trash to make sure the folder is erased if it happened to end up there.

Cant remove podcasts from phone.

Hi,
I cant seem to remove Podcasts on IPhone 4S that I downloaded on the IPhone.
I downloaded a couple last week, listened to them but didnt subscribe.
Synced with ITunes on my IMac and they uploaded from the IPhone to ITunes.
Deleted them from ITunes and re-synced and they uploaded again.
I cant get rid of them and its getting very annoying!

CS3 Cant Remove Tint From Brush Art

Hello,
I created a simple path, applied a stroke color, then applied an Artistic Ink (Marker) brush from the brush library. I then expanded the appearance of the brush-styled path, converting it to outlines.
The brush tinted the color to a lighter shade and I'm trying to remove that tint effect. When I select the expanded object, it shows the full-strength color is applied in the color pallet (for example, 100% Cyan), but it clearly is not that color (it looks like 80%). I can't seem to get rid of the lighter tint-- no matter what color I apply to the object. (Even 100% Black looks like 80%). The appearance pallet shows no effects, there is no transparency, no graphic style applied... What gives?

Okay, this is really stupid...
When I select the whole group with the Selection Tool, the Appearance Pallet shows Group in the top section and Contents/Default Transparency in the bottom section (with / representing a new line in the pallet).
When I select one object with the Direct Selection Tool, the Appearance Pallet shows Group/Path in the top and Stroke/Fill/Default Transparency in the bottom.
Clicking Path in the top section of Appearance Pallet changes nothing. Clicking Group in the top changes the pallet to show Group: No Appearance/Group in the top section and Contents/Opacity: 70% in the bottom section.
This obviously allows me to fix the situation, but I'd like to understand why Illustrator behaves this way.

Cant remove music from iphone in itunes?

I know there are similar questions but I cant find anyone having this problem. My iPhone 4, fully updated, has 94 songs on it, my computer and phone both agree on usage and space available. But under my iPhone, under music, it says i have 630 songs. but only those 94 in that list that are shown on my phone, play. And all 630 are in my library and all play. I want this all music on my phone to disappear. All 630 that show up on my iPhone music and the 94 on my iPhone, so that I can import new stuff and organize it.

It all depends on what type of media it is. If it is purchased content from the iTunes Store, then it will transfer. If it was something that was ripped from a cd and then copied to your iPhone, then it will not copy to iTunes. You can also download previous purchases as well.

Cant remove table from DSV - BIDS 2008 R2

I have updated the schema for a dimension table and it will affect the data type of the key field in the fact table. Im trying to refresh my DSV and I keep getting the error

Sold my iphone and cant remove it from icloud account

I sold my iphone 5 and it still shows on my icloud account.
1. I reset all before selling (Cleared)
2. It is listed on my account but not listed when I go to find my devices.

For removing a content database from a Web application, you can take steps as below:
1.On the Manage Content Databases page, click the content database that you want to remove.
2.On the Manage Content Database Settings page, in the Remove Content Database section, select the Remove content database check box.
If any sites are currently using this database, a message box appears. Click OK to indicate that you want to proceed with the removal.
3.Click OK.

Sounds like you want a clean system ... no trace of Oracle. Under Linux, the correct way of doing that would be
1) For each database, use DBCA to remove/drop the database.
Depending on the version of the DBCA, you may need to follow up with manually removing the "Oracle Data" directories, the "Flashback" directories (especially if they changed over time), and the "Admin" directories (where the alert.log and other trace files are kept)
2) For each set of software (ORACLE_HOME), use the Oracle Universal Installer to remove the Oracle software.
Depending on the version of the Oraclee Universal Installer, and which patches have been applied, you may need to manually remove the directories under the ORACLE_HOME
3) Manually remove the Oracle Inventory, as identified by the oraInst.loc file
4) Manually remove the /etc/oratab, /etc/oraInst.log and (if RAC has been installed) the /etc/oracle directory tree.
Under Linux, you can cheat - skip the DBCA and OUI portions of the first 2 steps and go to the manual deletes.
In Linux, I typically install everything Oracle under /u01/app/oracle as my ORACLE_BASE ... to clean the system, I simply "rm -rf /u01/app/oracle /etc/oratab /etc/oraInst.loc /etc/oracle"
Or better, just start up a saved VMWare clone, if this is not a real system.
