Cant restore back up from iCloud as password not accepted

when trying to restore an 1phone 5s from iCloud back up my password is not accepted..i then go to iforgot, change my password retry the restore process and get the same issue.I have tried turning find phone off, starting again but still cant access back up because password not accepted.

I can't change my DNS settings. I'm trying to restore while setting up my phone. If I change the DNS settings while on the phone, and then restore the phone and try to restore from the back-up on my iCloud, it won't save that I've changed settings to use Google's public DNS. I would log onto my university's secure wifi instead of their guest wifi, but unfortunately I can't. because that involves an installation, which I can't do if I restore my phone and am trying to set it up.

You backup the phone memory data through PC Suit to your PC-I find it more convenient to backup the data on PC.

My old ipod was stolen and have just bought a new one, I can quite clearly see my old ipod in ' manage and storage' but each time I restore from that date of last back up I still don't see my music?!

It will only restore music purchased from the iTunes store that was on your old iPod when it was last backed up.

The backup will first restore you app data and other settings, it will then restart and restore your camera roll photos, apps and other purchased media.
If you're concerned about losing purchased media you can always transfer them to your iTunes librarry first. To do this, make sure your computer is authorized for all Apple IDs used to purchase your media (in iTunes: Store>Authorize This Computer). Then connect your phone and in iTunes go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This way, should anything go missing you can always sync it back from iTunes.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

It shows my old expired Apple id (my old email address). There is no option to change the id and even when I put in the correct password for the old id (used originally) it kicks me out with the message ""Your Apple ID or password is incorrect" .. this is true as my apple id is wrong but I cant change it. Reseting ipad, we are asked to restore info from icloud or itunes. If we choose icloud, the info will be restored, but the apps on the ipad should be downloaded from app. store! because icloud can't save the applications. and If we choose to restore with itunes, the apps will be loaded quickly ,But still we need our info in icloud. and if we go to icloud backup , from ipad settings, we just have one choice: back up now! that backs up the new info, not our backed up info. but we need our backed up info.

It restored the backup that was made on your computer 6 months ago, which did not contain those photos. You're wasting your time trying to find them on the phone. They don't exist.
Hopefully, your friend syncs her phone to her own computer on a regular basis. She needs to plug her phone into her computer and restore it from her last backup. That will restore it to the state it was in when the backup was made.
She also needs to get in the habit of extracting the photos on a regular basis, like she would from any other digital camera.

I believe only the most recent backup is saved in iCloud, if that's what you're asking. If you haven't done an iCloud backup since May, then you could restore from it. Otherwise, I believe it's been overwritten.
