When I download from the internet I cant run the program only save. But when I save it is not in that location please help

Hi, I have a new 16gb Iphone bought yesterday in Australia.
After setup I went to the app store and tried to download two free apps. They downloaded and installed ok.
Problem: When I try to run them the apps start to run but then abort back to the home screen and wont run.
I have tried restoring factory defaults via Itunes but that didnt seem to fix it.
Apps that come with the Iphone work.
I went to the store I bought it from and they dont know whats wrong and offered to get it repaired but I dont want to be without my Iphone. Im not sure if it is actually broken anyway.
Please help, Im desperate

The I Phone apps do work, but not if you have the latest software, if we can find a way of reverting it back a version everything will be o.k. The I Phone is not a great phone (very basic for texting and phone calls, you can't forward on messages or create contact groups etc...) but as an internet music video player it's o.k.
Hopefully with more updates it will improve in speed and functionality, you could take it back until that happens!?

Windows 8 may require you be in desktop mode to install instead of the "metro" or tiles mode.

You need to unpack the 7z file. You forgot to download the second part that contains the extractor app, but you can also use standard tools like WinZip.

I downloaded the latest firefox so I could use the firefox app for my new Iphone. I only have Mac OS X 10.4.11 and the new firefox wont run on it. Think I just found it. You need to click on the right hand side where it says Firefox 3.6.16 (under the search.
It's confusing because on the left the are some Firefox 3.6.16 for other languages.

Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

You should first uninstall iTunes completely.
This is not an easy task!

Then download the latest version of iTunes for your Windows Version and install it.

BC 2.1 cant run on my vista 64bit, can anyone help?

I did my installation of vista 64bit on my 2.4ghz macbook pro 15" (quite old model, about a year ago) and yes, i did download BC 2.1 and try to run on it.( i think most of the people cant use 2.0 for installing all of the driver.)
i saw someone was discussed on this forum about failed install for "Keyagent" and "MacHal" file.(sorry if i name it wrong.) I have a same problem as well, so i try to download BC 2.1 ( http://support.apple.com/downloads/BootCamp_Update_2_1_for_Windows_Vista64 ). The problem for now is i cant run that file on my vista! Should i download BC 2.1 32bit and try it or something wrong??

When you are running Vista, put your Leopard DVD in.
It should ask to run SETUP.exe and install Apple services, drivers, and Boot Camp, including Boot Camp control panel, Apple Software Update, Apple OS Switcher, Apple Time Services.
You will need to reboot.
And only then can you install and run BC64 2.1.
It can also be downloaded via the Apple Software Update control panel itself.
If your 10.5.0 DVD is not showing anything, it should open to /Bootcamp in Windows.
Call or check or buy 10.5.6. If it is OEM disc, some didn't have it.
If on the other hand you are using a program called MacDrive7 (commercial) it use to not work iwth 64-bit versions, and would prevent access to Apple DVD.

If you can... you need to Upgrade your OS X to 10.6.8
It is Not available as a download... It is a Paid Upgrade.

How to run downloaded drivers on Fresh Install of Labview 6.1 on a Mac G4 OS 9

I have just completed a fresh install of Labview 6.1 on an Macintosh G4 running OS9. I can run it and it seems to work just fine. I downloaded some drivers for an oscilloscope (HP 546XX) to run with an HP 54603b. When I installed, I went to open the 'Get Started.VI' I get a freeze and have to force quit out of labview. I am not sure how to resolve this. I am pretty sure that it is independent of the device, since I can open the vi's at least on another computer with no hardware attached. So I guess to boil my situation down. I have 2 questions:
-How do I get a fresh install on a mac G4 OS 9 to run downloaded drivers from the internet
-How do I ensure that I have the hardware configured on
a macintosh to run properly.
I really have little experience with macs so I am not really sure what my options are or what could be the problem so any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hmmm. I wonder if NI-VISA isn't installed correctly on this machine.
When LabVIEW loads a VI that uses a VISA name control on the front panel, it queries VISA for the installed devices. Sometimes this takes a few seconds, but maybe in your case, something has been corrupted and it's hanging.
To try to narrow this down, first run the separate program "VISAConfig". This should list your devices. If this works, this means it's pretty likely that VISA is installed correctly.
Next, run LabVIEW. On an empty front panel, select the "Controls->I/O->VISA Resource Name" and place it on the front panel. When you click on the arrow on this control, you should see a list of your devices. If this works, then that indicates that LabVIEW is successfully talking
to the VISA software.
If both of those succeeded, then we have to take a closer look at this particular instrument driver. Can you drop other VIs (say, Initialize or Close) without hanging?
If either of the first two steps fail, I'd suggest that you reinstall the VISA software. You may want to try the latest version of NI-VISA (from ni.com), but first confirm that it supports LabVIEW 6.1.

I have the same issue...I called Adobe and they said that Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 7 ...so I tried installing the suite again without Acrobat and still the same issue....does anyone know if this issue is resolved by getting the new CS5 suite??? I had the same problem after I gave my old iPad to my parents and tried to install Netflix. This is what you have to do: Open iTunes on your computer, the one you sync your iPad to. Then go to iTunes Store and search for and download Netflix app. After you download it, if your iPad is set to download new purchases it may start downloading on your iPad. If so, tap and hold to delete the app (because it is trying to install the new version on the iPad) Next step, go to the App Store on your iPad and find Netflix and it should say install since you already purchased it on the computer. Tap to install, and it will say the version is not compatible, tap to download a previous version. Click that and it will install the older version! One more thing, if and when you sync to your computer again it will say something like " Unable to install Netflix on your iPad" Just click the box to never remind you again, because it's trying to sync the newer Netflix app to your iPad, but it doesn't work so it displays the message. The old app will remain on the ipad. Hope this helps, good luck
