Cant see airports on pc, but they work fine on ipad, what's going on ?

ive got 2 air ports, neither are found when i do a search with the airport untility on my vista laptop.
i plugged them in with a network cable and they are found, somehow i have programmed them, and they work fine with my ipad and iphone. when i unplug the network cable,the dam laptop will still not detect them, if i go to Configure Other in the airport untility and type the ip manual, it will connect and it says its fine etc.
they are still working fine with ipad/phone
ive removed all firewalls/anitvirus incase that was it but no joy.

I have that exact same problem! It plays albums fine. But individual songs including ones downloaded from iTunes either skip or play the music of another totally different song. All play fine on iTunes and my iPhone... Got this one to replace my dying 5th gen classic.

ALL my ad-ons just stopped working one day, but they work fine on my other computer...

I didnt do any specific update, and I dont even have many ad-ons, the only ones i really use are ad-block plus and download statusbar... i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the ad-ons, and firefox as a whole. but that didnt change anything. on my other laptop i have the same settings and versions and everything and its working fine.

You may have some corrupt files, see [[unable to install add-ons#Corrupt extension files|corrupt extension files]] for details of the files to remove. If one of those files is corrupt it can cause problems such as add-ons not working.

After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I cannot connect to my Airport Extreme on the 5GHz band (2.4GHz works fine)...what's going on?

I have been having intermittent/no wireless success on the 5GHz band of my Airport Extreme. I'm on an iMac early 2008. It was working fine before upgrading to Mountain Lion. I have tried many things (deleting the wireless network, readding it, changing settings on the AirPort Extreme, deleting the 5GHz network on that and readding it, running diagnostics) but nothing has fixed it. I can switch to the 2.4GHz band and it works flawlessly. This must be a software problem since it only started happening when I upgraded the OS.

No it isn't, I have tried 4 different mountain lion machines connected to a 5Ghz and it works just fine. It is with your machine hence we need to fix it
create a new location and see if that fixes your issue, If not trash Macintosh HD/Library/System Configuration
That is a folder so trash it > restart the computer > create a new location

I have trouble with website links not working but they work fine on I.E. it's a problem on quite a few sites .

The problem I'm having is the links are just unclickable . I have checked all the settings and everything seems ok , but the links are not working . Everything is fine in I.E. and I am not having any problems , it appears to only be when using mozilla . After a bit more troubleshooting... This appears to be a CSS float clearing issue. In a page with both left and right floated containers, if the float is not cleared in one of various ways, Firefox may render the page properly, but the hyperlinks do not function. By clearing the float in the application of the page footer division, I am able to correct the problem in my web page structure such that all browsers render correctly with working links. When you experience this problem, you won't be able to do anything to Firefox to correct it, the page owner will have to resolve their stylesheets, unless a patch or something comes out to address whatever causes Firefox to behave this way.

My i pod will not play videos they just freeze but they work on itunes

my i pod will not play any videos that i put on but they work fine on i tunes, they play but 1 second in to the video it just frezzes and you can hear anything so what is wrong.

Have yu tried the standard fixes:
- Rest. Nothing will be lost

If you Go to the app store on your phone, then go to updates you should have a purchased icon at the top.
Click on that and it will show the apps you have downloaded before as they are stored on the icloud.
Then you should be able to click on the app and redownload it, not sure if it will charge but its worth a try.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

When i preview my site all my images disappear but they work in dreamweaver? No broken links i can see them clearly in dreamweaver but i cant see them on the prieview in my browser, its just happened all of a sudden.

Im keeping my files in one folder if thats whay you mean, all sorted properly,

Trying to configure two older AP Express devices but Airpot Utility 6.3.1 (631.4) does not see them. They worked fine last week until I switched to from a DSL access point to a Xfinity / Comcast / Arisis router ... any suggestions?

Same problem. I have really relied on teh reliability of Apple products, but it seems that the hardware is more reliable than the software support. I've been configuring my extended network (Time Capsule, Airport extreme, and Airport Express) with the Airport Utility 5.6, but the new version 6.3.1 doesn't support the older extreme and airport express (boo!). That's hard to believe that that the newest utility wouldn't be backward compatible with older devices. What's the point in that?

i was wondering if it is possible, this person i believe uses a Android or Iphone, for the camera to be turned off for video chat? I can never see the other person but they can see me - and i can see myself during the video chat. My video which they see i also see takes up the whole screen. This issue also is the same for when i use Windows and video chat with this person.

You have to enable it in SKYPE. Open up Sykpe click on tools then select options . When that windows opens select video settings. Then you well see select webcam click on White box select your web cam choices. Windos 7 HP computers it is called HP web camra filter. I just close out the filter stuff if I am not using it during chat session. Some HP computers call it cybrlink web cam. If your web cam isn't listed yet the web cam still works in other applications your Skype software might be corrupted. Just uninstall Sykpe and reinstated it back with a new copy download http://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/skype-for-computer/ If you are still having issues please let us know. Thank you frrw.

Go back to iTunes, select the Music tab, uncheck the 'sync music; button, then hit apply.
