Cant see font in Pages
Good Morning!
I have been trying to download a font for the first time onto my Mac but am having difficutly accessing it. I have dragged the font into fontbook and can see it displaying there, but when I open Pages I cannot see that font as an option in the drop down menu of fonts.
I'm brand new to Mac and am a bit stuck - any help would be appreciated, thank you!

First you can check to see if the font is disabled (see section “Disable and enable specific fonts”). You can also follow the section titled “Validate problematic fonts”, and if needed - remove and re-add the font.

Cant see Font edge option in FW C4 text property inspector
That pretty much says it I can no longer see an option to change the Font Text for anti alies to smooth etc.
Any help?I checked to see if was the font or some setting I set accidently... it was just not visible. Didn't matter which font and there was no setting to stop showing or to start its was just the normal text property area.
The good news is...It just came back all of a sudden. Not sure when it did so I don't know if it's a bug or I did something to bring it back

Cant see the page links text in my main & side navigation bars
Hi
I published my site to Mme yesterday and I have noticed a few problems have come up. The main problem is my main and side navigation bars. In the top nav bar you cant see all the page links text, they should show up in white. I can only see them when you roll over the page name (this is in grey) and that is the rollover colour. Not sure what to do to get the text colour to stay white all the time so it is always seen once it's been clicked. It just disappears, but is still there if you roll over it
My side nav bar, the text should also all be white and when you roll over it turns red. For some reason when you click on the page link it turns grey and stays grey. I also want the page links to stay white once clicked on

I cant see sinhala fonts in newer version of firefox.i have this problem since i upgrade new vesion
like i explained in question,before i upgrade newer version of firefox.i can read sinhala(sri lankan language) words.but after i cant see.but if i use windows internet explorer i have no problems.........plz help because firefox is my favourite.
I assume that you have installed the fonts.

You will have to disable downloadable fonts to make Firefox 5 use a locally installed font.<br />
That will however effect all pages that use downloadable fonts.

You can set the pref <b>gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled</b> to <i>false</i> on the <b>about:config</b> page.
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily. -

Well as I can see from other questions asked people are already aware that when you hover over a link the link preview appears at the bottom of the page instead of the status bar.
Other people have said to install https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
Well thats fine for me to do that but what about the users who come to my site and cant see my toolbar at the bottom because the link preview (with a long URL) is obscuring it? I cant tell them to go and install an addon, what bright spark thought of this I find it very disrupting.As far as I know, [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ the Classic Theme Restorer add-on] is the only way move the Reload button outside the address bar.

That being said, I should point out that you can reload pages in other ways.
* Right-click any tab and choose Reload.
* Right-click an empty area of the page and choose Reload.
* Press F5.
* Press Ctrl+R (Mac: Command+R). -
WHy not open fore flashplayer. I'm starting to hate my iPad because og it, ther are so many tings i cant see and do on internett because flashplayer cant be installed on ipad.i hate it!!!
IT's up to them to redo their pages to be more compliant with the rest of the internet. Flash, as a program, is like a VCR. Still usable, still functional, but its days are numbered....may be numbered in the thousands, but its a program that people literally block and disallow from their computers. As far as some are concerned, it's legal malware.
I personally love the fact that I can avoid all those '2 meg take over your browser and screen' ads with my iPad. It is frustrating to find polls and the such that don't function, but that's when I just pull out hte laptop and use that. And on any given day I run my laptop with flash deliberately turned off and blocked...and its's amazing how fast the internet is without all the massive ads.
There are some browsers in the app store that work with some flash sites (there's none that are universally compatible....part of the problem with Flash as a program, it doesn't even work consistently from comptuer to computer)
Skyfire and Photon are two names I've seen recommended. You can give them a try and see if they work for you. -
I cant see the control f menu or the bottom of web pages unless I "restore down" to a smaller window size.
The problem is when you maximize the window -- it is even bigger than the area available? Or the problem is that normal windows are always too large and have to be resized manually?

Since you have a modem/router, you must continue to use the Beetel modem/router on your network.
The Time Capsule can connect to the Beetel modem/router using a wired Ethernet cable connection and produce a separate wireless network. You would NOT want the Beetel router and Time Capsule to both try to produce the same wireless network if they are located close together, since this will likely create interference problems that may prevent devices from connecting to either the Beetel orTime Capsule wireless network.
The exception to having the Beetel modem/router and Time Capsule produce the same wireless network would be if you can locate the Time Capsule at least a room or two away from the Beetel modem/router. An Ethernet cable can be run up to 300+ feet or about 100 meters with no signal loss, so you should be able to locate the Time Capsule anywhere you want.
Are you able to consider this option?
Another option.....if you cannot locate the Time Capsule in another room......would be to configure the Time Capsule to use the same wireless network name and password as the Beetel network and turn off the wireless on Bettel modem/router.
Important.....there is no guarantee that the printer will be able to connect to the Time Capsule wireless network, so you should expect to start over and set up the printer again.
Yet another option would be to turn off the wireless service on the Time Capsule and use the Beetel wireless to back up your computers to the Time Capsule, which will act as a wired hard drive for the network. If you select this option, the Time Capsule can be located close to the Beetel modem/router. -
I can open up firefox, but I cant see it on my screen (the small thumbnail says its open)

Sometimes the Firefox window gets off screen and continues to open there. One technique you can try is the following:
While the Firefox window is active (you can judge by the Windows task bar, press Alt+Spacebar to display the system menu for the Firefox window.
You may or may not be able to see the menu, but if you do, its position in an upper or lower corner provides a clue as to where the Firefox window is lurking. If it's on the right side, tap the m key and use the left arrow to move the window to the left. If it's on the left side, tap the m key and use the right arrow to move the window to the right. Similarly, if the system menu appears toward the top of the screen, use the down arrow to move the window down, and vice versa. It may take many presses. Does that work?

Is there a way to download additional fonts into Pages? If so, where can I find them?
I was wondering if there was a way to add new fonts to Pages. I recently purchased a new iMac that came standard with Pages. I'm resisting the urge to install Microsoft Word as I prefer Pages in many ways. However, I'm frustrated that I can't use/find any unique fonts to add to Pages like I can do with Microsoft Word. I create documents that I sell online and would love to be able to only use Pages for this purpose. Instead I find myself having to reformat documents in Word just to get the font I want.

Go to the App Store and type Fonts into the Search bar. You will see a large array of fonts you can download. Many of them are free. I downloaded the MacFonts Holiday fonts last year, and they show up anywhere I have a font dropdown.
With any of the MacFonts, you just download it, then follow the instructions for moving them into your FontBook app.

My app store (iPhone 6) doesn't refresh since november 1st in the screen appears i have already 11 updates but i cant see it
