cant see google chat in gmail only on FF4B2 . while using other browsers or the previous beta version, there was no problem

First, try to update to beta 3.
Second, it is likely that the plugin got disabled due to unproven compatibility, if you install this other addon [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/15003/ here] , it might solve your problem.

I cant video/audio chat, i can only 'text' chat

Hello,
So I have used iChat (version 4.0.9) in the past without any problems, but a few days ago when I went to video chat, like I have many times in the passed, I was unable to (the same thing happened when I tried an audio chat.) So I thought the problem was my computer so I restarted it, which did not help and then I reset and unplugged my modem, while my computer was off, which also did not help with my problem. I have another computer in my home which I have been able to successfully text and audio chat with on iChat, but it does not have a camera therefor I can not check the video capabilities.
When I invite someone to a video or an audio chat it sends the invitation but after the person accepts the invitation we both get a notice saying there was a communication error. But when the other person try to video or audio chat with someone, they have no problems.

Welcome to the  Discussions
Error 8 normally refers to a Port issue somewhere.
First Of all check the MAc Firewall
System Preferences > Security > Firewall
Use either Allow All or Allow Specific Apps.
If using Specific apps add iChat to the List (When iChat is started iChatAgent should also get added by the System)
In the Advanced Button make sure Stealth is not Enabled.
If you modem routes or you have a router then check how the ports iChat needs are opened here.
If the Mac gets it's IP via DHCP it is possible the IP it was using (Previously given) has changed - If you used Port Forwarding to open the Ports, these may not point to the IP the computer currently has.
In the Log the Buddy is coming back in subsequent repeats on a random port
(where it reads rip = Remote IP = Buddy and these move from port 16402)
There is no PING listed (I am not sure you even get this far) But make sure your Routing device is not Blocking Pings.

K8N SLI FI cant see my sata,s

just built the pc all working fine except it will not see my sata drives at all
i have enable all in the bios and also used my pata drives to get into raid setup, which worked
the drives just do nothing(there is power there and they are spinning)
also cannot be seen in windows(sp1)
i am at a loss as to what to try next
ive probably just set the bios wrong but i cant see where as the are only 2 menus which i think effect the satas and they also dont show in the basic config section when raid is diabled

the only option in the bios is to load optimal settings,which i did,still no sign of them, is that the default option?
i have tryed differant sata cables (all of them the msi version) to no avail
the drives were in my old pc and were used as a bootable raid with no probs. they still (in theory)have the data on them but im not interested in keeping the data.
they were previously running on a msi neo2 board and worked with the promise raid bios
both drives have run for around 7000hours and did not seem to have any errors on them
do they need to be wiped first or somthing i dont know how i can do it though as i have no mbs left to run them on apart from the current

Google Chat on iChat (non gmail Google account).

Hi,
I've been trying to sign into Google Talk via iChat but it keeps rejecting the username/password. I can sign in using the Google chat web client with this ID, as well as all the other Google services associated with the account. I'm now on Lion but it was also an issue on Snow Leopard.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi,
My understanding is that when you go to a Google Page you can sign in top right.
Once your Name displays then you can click and hold that to see the Account Setting option.
That will lead you to a page like this
In there "Talk" should be in the My Products Section for the Chat option to work.
If iGoogle is in that section you can go to that page (your iGoogle page) and Chat should load down the left hand side. (or the view I have set up places it there)
iChat should be set up as follows:-
iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts
Choose the Plus button at the bottom of the list.
In the pane that opens select the top item then choose Jabber as the account type.
Enter the name as it is for logging into Google.
Enter the password you use there.
Now if you have iChat 5 (And I presume iChat 6) you can then enter the Server name in the bits below the Password box
This should be made to read google.com
Click Done.
If this is iChat 4.x.x then you will not be able to change the server there
As the Account will presume the server name is the end of your Email address this will appear in the server Setting tab (As well as the message about Logging in not woring)
Open the server settings tab and change the server name to google.com
This obviously works as an alternative to the iChat 5 method above.
This Help Page seems to say that a "Google account" will work but also has a Note to say a Gmail account is needed to use GoogleTalk.
I have certainly seen people post here to say that they have Non Gmail Google Account and have Enabled talk and then added it to iChat. (AS described above)

You do realize that the SIM only contains account information for your wireless account.
Moving the SIM from phone to phone does not cause any of your iTunes content, contacts, email, etc to magically appear on the device.

Firefox doesn't natively block ads. However, there are some extensions that could affect ads. Can you check here for anything that might possibly be blocking or filtering ads or scripts (e.g., Adblock Plus, NoScript), or that modifies pages in any way (e.g., Greasemonkey, Stylish):

I just had this issue. Go into settings and reset the Apple TV after the firmware update. (note just "reset settings" and NOT back to factory settings)

I set up a blog through google with a gmail account. I was able to pull up the blog ap from the ap store. When I go into the blog ap on my iphone, page 1 comes up first.....this is the page that allows me to edit, add, etc. Unfortunately, when I go into the blog on my ipad, I only get the written information (blog) that I posted; there is no page 1 which allows me to make editions, etc. How can I get this information over to my ipad?

I personally suggest the new Drobo FS. Since it has an iTunes server built in and you can use any size sata hard drive in it it is better and a NAS that has to use the same size drives.
