hey guys. i just bought iphone 4 from ebay and im out of USA
i need to know IMEI number to unlock my phone, but i cant see that number
when i open this phone its asking activation and i cant access to main menu so i cant use that #*06# or generals-about
is there any another way ? to know this phones IMEI number? i dont have original box or info of this phone, only phone

whether its a iphone 4s or iphone 5 your only hope to track it is through the find my iphone app. if you didnt do that then you cant track it. call your local law enforcement and put in a case about it

A missing IMEI # is a critical failure. Usually the result of jailbreaking/hacking.
Regardless of the cause, the phone will need to be replaced. There is no way to correct a missing IMEI. -
My Iphone doesnt turn on after updating. It keeps on blinking the apple logo, after seeing the low battery image, i tried to charge the iphone. After charging for 30 minutes, it still wont turn on but keeps on blinking the apple logo. It has been blinking for 2 days. Then I tried to connect to itunes, but itunes cant recognize the device. Did you create a NEW account using the instructions in Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card using an email address you had not previously used with Apple?

On the other hand: Did you purchase your product from these firms like Amazon? If yes, this is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.

Itunes messed up my restore and now doesn't see my ipod. What should I do?
I performed a restore on my Ipod Touch (bought new a couple of years back) and itunes tells me there was an error and the restore could not be completed. Nice that it still manage to delete all my information, contacts and goodness knows what else (I chose to backup my files using the itunes function), btw.
Anyways, now my ipod just has the "connect to itunes" picture. My PC doesn't recognise my ipod, apart from Apple Mobile Device under USB controllers in the Device Manager, and itunes doesn't see or try to do anything with my pod so that I can use it.
I've tried this solution http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 but that didn't help and I reinstalled itunes and Apple Mobile Device Support, but to no avail.
What should I do? I'm using Windows 7 HP x64.Put it in DFU mode.
It's a common thing among jailbreakers. No one else really needs it, but it should allow your iPod to take the official firmware of your choice.
Here is a copy from a jailbreak help guide I will not link.
Please note that this will not jailbreak your device, so back off, moderators.
Method (1)
* Attach the phone to the pc
* Turn the phone off
* Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds
* Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.
* At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work. -

If your iPad mini powered off unexpectedly and will not power on, try these steps, which apply to the iPad mini as well:

Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
