Cant send mail after updating to IOS 7, using icloud and online

Someone else with the same problem? I can recieve but not send mail, using may online and icloud accounts, i am sure i`m using the rigth smtp and ports

    Is anyone having difficulty sending mail after the most recent ipad IOS update?  Getting message saying that cannot connect to outgoing server.  Know server is fine for other apple devices.

    Can you receive emails on the account?
    Reset/restart your router and try gain.
    Try deleting the account and setting it up again.

    Apple update has made a useable and great device now useless. I use my iPad for work exchange email and now can't send or receive. Why release a product without checking for major bugs like this. Have had to delete all emails in outbox and constantly have to manually I close app to reset. Not happy apple!

  • Can't send iMessage after update to IOS 7 on iPhone 5

    After I update to IOS 7 on iPhone 5 the iMessage function seems not working properly. when I trying to send iMassage the "sending" bar loads up to 90% (slowly) and then stops dead and doesn't move. It stays at that 90% mark until it either starts working, many minutes later, until I delete the message, until it goes to "sending failed" or whatever it says with the little red "!" it will not automatically send by text even the iMessage function is not working. This problem wasn't happened all the time but regularly. This problem happened when I update to IOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and also happened in my friends' iPhone 5 with IOS 7. After I restart everything will back to normal until it crashes again.
    Anyone who get the same problem like me?

    I found the same solution, resetting network settings. Sure we have to re-input Wi-Fi network passwords, but it's not a big deal. What is a big deal is that this solution is temporary -it works for a day or two and then the problem returns, for both me (iPhone 4, 7.0.2 Verizon) and my wife (iPhone 5, 7.0.2 AT&T). I've just reset my network settings for the 2nd time since installing iOS 7 on launch day and 7.0.2 on it's launch day.
    C'mon Apple! A little help here? I really don't want to have to do this every few days.

  • No push mail After update on iOS 4.1

    Hi, I have now updated to 4.1 on a 3gs and no longer receive push for my gmail accounts. I can manually fetch mail ok but push no longer comes through. My wife has also updated to 4.1 on a 3G with no data but still gets push on wifi ok on the same gmail account.
    Also, when I open mail it only updates the default account inbox now not both, I have to go into the inbox of my other account for it to update the mail.
    I have deleted accounts and set up again, restored and set up as new phone with no change to the problem.
    I can only assume this is an Apple fault not gmail as my wife's gmail push is working fine.
    Any suggestions would be great as I really miss push notifications for my mail.

    After further research it has come to pass that a new update iOS 4.2 is coming this month, in Germany this is done to correct the Summer/Winter time changes?????????. The best we can hope for is that it will also correct the connectivity problems with the 3G and 3Gs users that had updated to iOS 4.1 and incurred signal loss and dropout of connectivity. I have solved my battery problems(runs down within a day-due to constant signal loss and searching for signal) by turning off ALLLLLLL features on my iphone, no running apps running, etc. This drops battery usage to 3-5% per day and I can still receive and make calls. I can do the same with any bottom of the line phone, and this is not why I purchased it. My iphones are all stock and have only updated and loaded apps from iTunes, if the problem persists my next phone will be from Finland again.........

    I don't know if it could be coincidence, but I had been receiving and sending email all day long until I installed the latest update (10.5.5). Since the installation completed, I have not been able to send mails (receiving is okay). The program keeps trying, but just keep son trying with nothing happening.     Consider yourselves lucky. I can't send or receive email or connect to the internet AT ALL since installing whatever updates came down this morning (9/24/08). I can connect to my wireless and I can connect to AT&T using my USB wireless 3G thingy, but I can't access email or the web.     After updating to 5.0.1, I can no longer send composed mail or respond with a reply. Works fine if I go out of mail, open AOL from safari. When I try to send from mail, a box opens stating message sent to outbox as respondant does not allow relays. Any ideas???

    Tried this, no difference. I was on the Apple Care service for over 1 hour with same result, no change. Any reply or new composed mail is sent to the outbox file, message states, " a copy has been placed in outbox. The recipient ...... Was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying." same reply or message sent from mail started from safari goes through perfectly.

  • I can't send mail after updating to mavericks (10.9.2) . i have to quit and restart mail each time i want to send an email - i can't believe apple have done this so amateurishly - please can someone help ???

    i cant use mail to send an email. it goes to my out box and then eventually comes up with this dialogue :
    "An error occurred while sending this message using the SMTP server “(null)”
    Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent."
    I have to click Try Later and then quit mail , then restart Mail and then if I am lucky the email will be sent. the next time I have to send an email the same thing happens . I have to click Try Later and then quit mail , then restart Mail and then if I am lucky the email will be sent. I have to go through this everytime i want to send an email. its a really time consuming vicious circle which is extremely annoying,
    can someone help please ???????

    Window ▹ Connection Doctor
    Click the Show Detail button. A drawer opens. Try to send a message and post the text that appears. Anonymize any personal information before posting.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    If you have backup the photos, you can get them up by restoring.
    At present, iOS 8.0.0 and iOS 8.0.1 have many issues, you can wait until Apple solve it or downgrade to iOS 7.

  • Native Mail app unable to get new mail after updating to iOS 5.0.1

    Just after I installed 5.0.1 (OTA) I've noticed that native ios mail client is unable to get new mail messages anymore. I have three seperate mail accounts (Gmail, Hotmail, iCloud) connected to my iPad2 and none of them works after this software update. All I get is three seperate error messages (Cannot Get Mail) one after another for each account, same kinda of messages as you get once you try to open your Mail app with no internet connection, but this time it's not an issue as my iPad is connected to my home WiFi which is working just fine.
    I've tried to restart my device, checked mail settings, made sure all the passwords are ok by typing them once again for all the accounts and I managed to get confirmation that they're ok with no difficulties using the same device.
    All other apps that uses internet connection seems to be working with no problems as well.

    Any ideas?

    Once I got new mail messages to each mailbox it seems that everything got back to normal.

    Im an owner of an Iphone 3gs.
    When I updated my software to IOS 6.1.3 I started having network issues such as my phone would go on searching, it would search for signal and then No service after few minutes it would restart and when its on again it would show me Connect To Itunes screen, I tried connecting but nothing happens and if I just leave it as it is it will just keep on restarting and showing the same screen sometimes I might get lucky and the phone will start working again but No Service and if I turn on my 3G for the times Im outdoors it will just restart again so 3G is also another problem I have got. Today I decided to take it to an Apple Store, the guy restored it and now what happens is that it switches on and is showing me the connect to Itunes message but with black backround and i cant do anything it keeps on restarting and showing the same thing. Please if there is anyone that would like to spend some time with me to help me out, he would be more than Welcome.
