Cant send mail from nokia messaging email app

Hi All,
i use the the nokia email messaging app on my Nokia N95 8gb, and when i send an email from my tiscalli email address to another it do not get to the other email address, but if i send from my hotmail account it sends to the other email addresses ok, would any one know why this is , but if i use my built in email client to send email from my tiscali account it works fine from that one
any help apprecitated

Cant send mail from i phone 3s, with a tiscali account

I can no longer send mail from my tiscali mail account on my i phone 3s, or my ipad without going through web mail account. please can anyone advise

Isn't mail.virgin.net the name of the Incoming Server -- the incoming server, which you say is working is set up at Mail Preferences/Accounts/Account Information as to name of the server, Username, and password, along with entries in Mail Preferences/Accounts/Advanced for Port select for the Incoming.
However, if that is working for you, you must have it correct. For the Outgoing server, isn't the proper name for Virgin services smtp.virgin.net? In Mail Preferences/Accounts/Account Information, click on the arrows beside the name of the SMTP, and choose Edit Server List. Remove all, or all but one of any references to the smtp.virgin.net. Enter anew, or with the remaining server, click on the Advanced Tab there, and choose Use Custom Ports. Then enter the Custom Port to be Port 25, and set the Authentication to None, and have no entries in Username or Password. This is consistent with those specs I can online saying the SMTP does not require Authentication.
Also click Use this server only. Now if the smtp.virgin.net server is online, it should work.

Cant send mail from 1 account

I have 3 mail accounts on my powerbook, one is bellsouth. When I try to send mail from the bellsouth account, it tells me it can't use the selected server. Bellsouth won't let me use other servers ( including .mac accounts) so if I have to send mail when I'm connected via bellsouth I have to use that account. I'm able to send via bellsouth from my other notebok ( windows) so the problem has to be on the powerbook somewhere. I've deleted the account from mail, and re-added it a few times, all to no avail.
any suggestsion would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same configuration of email accounts in my macbookpro, ipad and iphone, but i cant send email from my ipad and iphone. The message appear in sent folder ( imap ) but the recipient never recive the mail.

Cant send mail from method

Hi All
I have a class that I developed, one of my methods should send mail.
I tried using the function : SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 in order to do so.
I also tried using the class : cl_bcs .
In both methods I have written commit work after activating the function/method.
The mail did get into my private outbox, but it did not reach SCOT ( transaction ).
I tried writing the same code as I wrote in the method inside a program and it worked fine ( including the SCOT part).
Do any of u have any idea why would the same code work in a regular program and not in a method?????

IPhone is sending mail from an old email address

This one has me stumped. I tried using a gmail account with my phone and decided I didn't like the way things worked (old dog). I liked it when I was just downloading copies of my mail from the mail server independently. So I deleted the gmail account from my iPhone and also from MacMail. It's no where else on any of my Macs or on my iPhone. Yet the phone is still sending out mail from that gmail address, so then of course people respond to it and I never check the mail there. By the time I remember to login to gmail, the messages are days old. Anyone have this problem and how do I exorcise the ghost of gmail?

You need to go to mail settings, open any account, then tap on SMTP. The gmail outgoing server is probably still in the server list, so delete it.
Also, you need to reboot after any email account changes. Hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears.

Sending mail from my personal email domain name.

Hi,
I'm fairly new to Macs and OSX and can't work out how to configure my mail properly. My mail works fine with my [email protected] email address, connecting to my mac mail and happily sends and receives messages.
I also have my own domain name which I have configured to forward all email to it to my user@mac .com. So far so good, but how can I have the ability to send email from my personal email domain and send it through the mac mail. My domain doesn't have it's own mail server etc.. it just forwards mail.
I would like to be able to have the option to send mail either from my [email protected] or my [email protected]

Cannot send Mail from Search shortcut "email [name of contact]" with exchange account

i have a Q10 with an exchange Account configured. Mail works fine from the hub but when i use the search feature of the q10 by typing "email [name of contact]" the compser opens but i cannot send. the account field is empty and when i press send the button gets greyed out. the email is not sent.
the problem seems to be that the default-account setting is not recognised when you use the search-shortcut-feature of the q10. when i compose a mail from the hub the account-field is filled right.
same problem has a friend of mine from another company. he also uses a different excahnge server/account.

try deleting mesages from the inbox outbox and saved folders there is issues when you have so many message the phone will not send text

Hello, I purchased a bluetooth dongle and connected it to my PC. I paired my PC and nokia 7230. I am able to send files from PC to nokia 7230 successfully. But when I try to send from nokia 7230 to PC i get service not supported. I am using windows 7. Any help please?

when u plug in your phone to your computer, on your phone select data transfer. If an error message apears on your phone saying its unable to connect, restart your phone and plug it in again. after selecting data transfer, your phone's memory should appear as a flash drive on your computer. select images for your pictures. the pictures are in folders arranged in date order. for videos go to the videos folder. the videos are in MP4 format.

Sending mail from Contact person email id

In Customer master, Under General Data tab, there is a Contact person which is having Email id.
The requirement is that to send PDF attached invoice automatically to the contact person (customer)from (Table : KNVK).
If the value for the email is available for that contact person, then only the invoice mail(attached PDF invoice) has to trigger to the customer. If not, mail must not trigger to the customer.
(Already code has been written for triggering of the mail to the customers and it is working fine).
Which fields I have to take into consideration for creating an access sequence. So that I can create a condition record in VV31.
Ex : Customer,Department, Contact person Function, Partner Function, Medium, Language.

VV31 has nothing to with the contact person. The logic is that whenever an output is triggered, it looks into the contact person details and if email is maintained, email will be sent to him
In VV31, you only have to maintain the communication strategy for emails. Your communication strategy should include internet/email as one of the communications. If this is done ,and if contact person has email id, it should work without any problem, of course, if the code is enabled for emailing.

I can recieve, but can't send mail from my shaw email.

FIRST - clean out your pc inbox and deleted items - everything will download and it's not fun deleting them. I've quickly learned you have keep your iphone email 'clean'
SECOND go to www.shaw.ca, customer care, log in and change your login password to comply with shaw iphone access: must be 6-8 characters, including at least 1 capital and 1 number. I suggest also changing your email addresses pw to the same thing as the iphone pw.

go to preferences
go to mobile access
click on Enabled
enter new (compliant) pw
THEN
Click on "Mobile Device Setup Instructions" - this gives you Shaw in/outgoing setting instructions for your Iphone. After you enter your id info on the first window and go Next be sure to touch POP then continue to set up everything (again using your new pw). Touch 'next' or 'done' (can't remember) - it'll start verifying - when the SSL error message comes up touch YES, will verify a bit more and then start working.
