Cant send my photo book

Hi there
I am using iphoto 09 and have spent hours creating 4 photobooks of a recent trip. I then tried to buy the books but constantly get the error message - An error occurred while uploading one of your files. Please check your network connection and click retry to resend your file. I am sure the connection is Ok. I use the internet all the time with no problems and tried saving the photobook as a pdf and then uploaded it to another photobook site. I really want to use the apple photobook site though and dont want to have to buy my books elsewhere. Can anyone help or should I go elsewhere. PS. I have already made and ordered loads of books with apple, but havent done so in a while.

Boot into Safe Mode, preview the book as described in this Apple document, iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture , and if the preview is successful order the book while still in Safe Mode.

You can change the Print Store location from iTaly to Belium in iPhoto's Advanced preference pane:
Then try to order. HOWEVER, you still may not be able to order. Over here in the States the shipping address must be in the same country as the billing address of the credit card used. It may be the same way over in Europe.
Give it a try and see. Let us know how you fare.

i am in AUSTRALIA and i would like to send a photo book that i created with iPhoto to my girlfriend who now lives in CANADA...
How can i do it???

I know, thats where is my problem, because i want to to it as a gift...
my idea is to send it straigh to canada and not geting it here and then send it again because i know all the printing is from US
and i only have a visa card delivered in australia...
i was wondering if there was an other way to do it...

Why I cant send a buyed book outside of my country?

I'm in Spain and I cant send a buyed book from Aperture 3 to Sweden or Germany. One year ago I did it from iPhoto and all were perfect. Does anybody knows why is not possible from Aperture?

How can I print a photo book in Mandarin

I have just returned from Taiwan and would like to send a photo book to an amazing gentleman I met who only speaks Mandarin. I have access to a first rate translator, but couldn't find information pertaining to printing in this language. Thank you.

If the Mac supports Mandarin (I looked in the languages section of the System preferences and saw several asian languages but couldn't tell which, if any, were Mandarin) you might be able to use Language Switcher with iPhoto to create the book in Mandarin, preview it according to this Apple Document,http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 , and then order it.

It does seem you have tried most of the things that help other users.
Although you do not say which iMac you use, as I understand your post, yours has a built-in iSight. If that is correct, when you look in System Profiler and click the following items:
you should see your camera information. If not, your iMac likely needs professional service. Before you go to see your Apple Service Technician, you can consider any of the following items that you think might be relevant. Although some of the following are not a remedy for no iSight in System Profiler, they might help you or other readers who can see their built-in USB iSights in System Profiler but are still experiencing the "camera in use" error.
Do you use the "Mirror" widget in Dashboard? That is one application that people sometimes forget might be running.
If you use an HP printer/scanner, check the suggestion in this post by parkersal.
If you have not yet tried all relevant suggestions in How to Troubleshoot iSight, do so now. Be sure to check whether the problem is application specific as well as user specific.
I understand that you have already reset the SMC, but, if the reset and other Troubleshooting suggestions you perform now do not correct your problem, you can try the following:- Repair permissions.
- Then download and apply the appropriate combo updater for your iMac:
Mac OS X 10.4.9 Combo Update (iNtel) or
Mac OS X 10.4.9 Combo Update (PPC)
- Finish with another Permissions Repair, and then check your iSight and System Profiler again.Users have reported fixes to a variety of audio, video, connectivity, and software conflicts and unreliability issues after properly applying Combo Updates, but if your iSight still does not show in System Profiler, I think you should see your Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service.
Please let us know what it takes to get sorted.

Can not change the shipping country for photo book delivery!?

Would like to send a photo book, but can not select the country. Below the field of the address data, is the country: United Kingdom. I live there currently, but would like to send the book to Germany! What is the problem there!!??

Try going to your iPhoto preferences and setting Germany as the print product country and see if you can do it - don't forget to change it back
