CANT SEND NO SMS'S

the thing that says "Send SMS" is greyed out so i cant do ****. howw do i make it not greyed out so i can seenddd an smsss

If you are not in the United States (Or set your Location in the International Preference Pane in System Preferences and call a USA phone) you can not do this.

HI i was wondering if someone could help me i just bought a blackberry pearl8230 this week and i can recieve and send out phone calls,, i can recieve sms message but i cant send out a sms message it keeps giving me sms message error code 3, If somone can hlep me that b great i talked to a technician from my service provider today we did the battery take out reset the phone and all that and then he tells me he has to send it to support and could be another 3-5 days ,, HELP ME PLXZ

Hi badone45 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Did you buy the BlackBerry as brand new, or was it previously used by someone else?
If it was previously used, it is possible there is in an IT Policy on the device preventing SMS to be sent.
You can check to see if there is an IT Policy on it by going to Options -> Security Options -> General Settings
If you happen to see an IT Policy and there is something listed, you will need to do a factory reset on the device.
You can download the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac or Windows from http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ as you will need to back up your device first as all data will be wiped out when the reset is done.
To do the factory reset, consult KB18998 at http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB18998

Lumina 710 cant send group sms or picture messages...

hey all, anyone know why i cant send picture messages or group sms with the 710?
i am with TPG they said its because of the apn settings, i have set them and it didnt work...

Try to switch the Flight Mode on and back off. Also, if phone is connected to WiFi when attempting to send a picture message of group SMS, this may also affect the connection so turn it off then try to send an MMS or group SMS. If these did not help, try below possible solution.
Turn off the Group Text feature in the Messaging app.
On the Start screen, tap on Messaging tile.
Then tap the three dots (...) in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
Open Settings.
Slide Group Text to off.
The Group Text feature attempts to keep the messages in one chat thread by using MMS, when this feature is off, your messages to a multiple people are included in a separate threads.
Failure of this feature to work though means your MMS settings are not correct. Either contacts your carrier up for the correct settings for your phone or go to the Store, and download and install the Network Setup application which can be found in the Nokia Collection.

Cant send Group SMS in IOS

i am unable to send a SMS message to a group in IOS6. there is no group selection in message like there use to be
is there a bug in IOS6, if so PLEASE fix ASAP

Can you be more specific about the problem you are having? You may have to contact your carrier and tell them about the issues you're having. MMS and Group MMS often have issues on the carrier level and not on the phone.

Cant SEND texts - SMS error 3

i just got my blackberry curve 8330 today, i can do everything but SEND a text message. it gives me a red X with sms error 3. i called my service provider, they reactivated it, took battery out, even did a hard reset and then told me that i need to return my phone for a whole new one. is there a way to fix this without going and getting a new phone?

@Dmitriy Buldakov, have you found the solution to the issue yet? I have the same problem, no option to turn on MMS in my iPhone settings. I checked the settings on my friend's iPhone, which has the same iOS version as me (8.1.1), and the option is there. It's really annoying...

I Cant Send SMS on my iPhone 5 from Claro Chile in Argentina

Hello guys, i just bought an unlocked iPhone from Claro Chile, and i tryed to use it in Argentina. I have no problems using every app on the iPhone but the SMS has been some trouble. I just cant send any sms, i can't therefore, activate imessage or facetime. my iPhone model is the A1428 GSM, and im running iOS 6.1 i tryed everything, checking the sms data, restore the iPhone, and nothing i've reading that is a frecuent problem in the sprint iphone 5's, but mine is from Claro Chile.... I need some answers and solutions... if there's any... i contact Claro Chile and they told me that the problem is whit Apple... and here i'm, i also tryed to send a mail to [email protected] and i receive an automatic response.

Confirm that you have MMS Messaging set to On in Settings>Messages. If it is, check with your carrier to confirm that your messaging plan is properly provisioned for MMS.

Do you mean Sprint? Contact them. SMS is a carrier feature.

SMS or an iMessage?
There is no delivered indicator for an SMS or MMS.
If for an iMessage, unless there is a red indicator with the message indicating the message could not be sent for whatever reason, the message was sent.
