Cant send outgoing messages from Outlook

Yesterday I had a problem with my outlook e0mail account. I deleted the account, changed the password and now although I can receive mail I cannot send mail in the account. I keep getting the error message :
Task '********@btinternet.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 authentication required - Your email could not be sent. To fix this you must make a simple change to your email client (known as SMTP authentication). For advice visit http://www.bt.com/smtp'
On typing in the web page it no longer exists.
Can anyone else help here.

You need to make sure the 'My server requires authentication' box is ticked. See screenshot

PIN communication is for messaging between BlackBerry devices.

TS4268 i cant send picture messages from my 4 s on vodafone au

Hi Guys.
Can anyone out there solve this issue for me please.
I cant send a picture message from my 4 s, but I do recieve them! I thought if I received them then I should be able to send them.
I am stumped here!

Cant send Facebook messages from the hub

Hi,
I can recieve Facebook messages to my hub, but when I reply my message dissapears and it shows I am sending a blank message with a red block and white clock next to it(where the check mark or delivery sign would be to the left). If I leave the hub and come back theres no trace of me trying to send a message.
Also when it tries to send it always shows the same time, 7:45pm Dec 31, 1012.
Anyone else here have this problem or know how to fix it?

To clarify, your data and time is showing as Dec 31 1012? Or when you go to send a Facebook message you are seeing that as the date?
Under Settings>Date and Time check to ensure the device date and time is accurate.
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or the mobile network when you go to send the message?

I am able to send fine from my gmail account but not from my comcast and optimum accounts. Any advice??

I've downloaded iMessage but can't send a message from my macbook

hi people, Ive downloaded the imessage facility to my macbook pro and all the messages I send between my ipad/iphone show up in the screen but I cant send a message from my macbook, the send icon doesnt appear in the text box. It allows me to type in a message, add a smiley but then nothing. Help please ,in language this old brain of mine can decipher )

Some of us do have the advantage of using iChat before we moved to Messages - which is where on the Mac we learnt to send by using the Enter Key.
Messages does add the ability to Send to iOS devices using iMessages and is almost as old as your Mac and we have all been trying to find out how it works.

Cant' send Hotmail messages

I've setup my hotmail account using the wizard and I can receive messages but unable to send any.
Can anyone help me with the outgoig server settings for my N900?

Both Yahoo and Hotmail are web-based mail, so the only way you have to send an email from there is by using their web interface.
But...SMTP is a weak protocol and you can send a mail as someone else just by setting-up the From header to any valid mail address.
For example you can do the following:
Address me = new InternetAddress( "[email protected]", "John Doe" );
Address someone = new InternetAddress( "[email protected]", "Bad Guy" );
Message m = new MimeMessage( session );
m.setFrom( me );
m.setRecipient( Message.RecipientType.TO, someone );If you send this message from your mail server, you will be efectively impersonating John Doe from a yahoo account.
However, this mail will not be sent from yahoo but from your own mail server (please, don't do this!!!).
What you are trying to do is to use yahoo or hotmail as a SMTP server, but as far as I know it is impossible.

Can you send an email from your computer to the ePrint service?
If so it may be that your phone is not supported. Here is a list of email clients that have been tested:
Outlook 2003, 2007
Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail
Apple Mail (iPhone, iPad, Macbook, MacbookPro)
BlackBerry mail client
Nokia/Symbian client (Nokia)
You can change your account to locked mode from your ePrint Center. Once you've changed it you just enter your email address on the allow list.

The outgoing server in my Comcast account is - smtp.comcast.net - I would assume that yours is the same.
razmee209 has a great suggestion - go to the settings for the Comcast account and tap on the outgoing smtp server, then tap on the smtp server under the Primary Outgoing Server - make sure that your password is correct in the next window.
I discovered that I had to change the password in there a while ago when I changed my email password and I couldn't send email from my iPod Touch.

Go to Settings/ Messaging/ Send & Receive on each device to set the contact points to be reached at, and to set the "from" address when you start a new message. It sounds like your iPhone might be sending messages out as one thing (e.g. an iCloud address) but set to not receive replies only to your phone number. Make sure you review settings on each device since you may, or may not, want to have them common.

If I have a codetable in database that has new or modified values I have to refresh the codetable in my J2EE application.
Most effective way would be send a message to initiate a table reload from J2EE app, but I don't know how to do this.
Now I have a background thread that regular reads the table and looks for changes.

In this example, the messages are going to Oracle BAM.. your message could go to your J2EE application listening to its own topic/queue.
an alternative idea.
you could also just cache your lookup table with something like Oracle Coherence and than try to ensure that all changes to the lookup go through Coherence, so that you won't need to do notification from the db up to the application. the application and the lookup data management tool would be using the data grid for management of the lookup table data, and the data grid (coherence) would persist the lookup data changes back to the db.

You need to link your iPhone number to Messages - and Facetime if you use it. For Messages go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at. If your phone number is showing there, select it as your Contact address. If it doesn't appear in there, take a look at the end of this article for help.

HT4623 Unable to send text message from iphone 4 to a non-iphone.

I have just bought an Iphone 4 with ios 7.1.
And when i am trying to send text message from my phone to a non-iphone devices it just showing a green (text background & loading bar), but still after some time the message was not getting delivered.
As per the apple support. I have already put +91 for all my numbers even deleted & create new contacts.
But the problem is still there.
I have also tried to change the setting for iMessage (On/Off).
So, please suggest.

Thanks for getting back to me. I did understand that part, but didn't get
wheather you could reply to a message you had received. I understood that
you could not originate a new text.
