Cant sign in to adobe exchange

BNWT installation of CS6, updates and security patches installed as of today. another 17meg download gets adobe exchange installed.  I find the ext I'm after in the little AE window, and them all goes to hell in a handbag! Unable to log in! password and ID working fine everywhere else, (including here!) tried new ID.. results the same, a deadly embrace  (loop) of  "Please log in to see your products" logging in, enter password at this point, sign in, logging in, enter password at this point, sign in, logging in, enter password at this point, sign in... you get the idea?
Windows install of version CS6;  13.0.1 x32.
no updates available for AExchange app
extension manager CS6 v6.0.5.9
A search seems to indicate that this problem has been around for at least 4 weeks in various guises, is there a solution yet?

Hi gainer13,
Could you please provide the following logs to me at lesavage at adobe dot com.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Exchange\AdobeExchange.log
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\PDApp.log
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\amt3.log
Can you also confirm what point products you are using.
Thanks,
Lea

You're talking about this site, right Daniel?
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/
I just went there and found no problems getting search results, so the site appears to be working.
You might try clearing your browser cache (aka Temporary Internet Files), then close all instances of Internet Explorer (or whatever browser you use) and reopen.
Failing that, you might try clearing all your cookies.  Keep in mind that will cause you to have to log in to any sites you've got stored passwords for.

  • Why can i not sign in on Adobe Exchange?

I have tried to log in to get a Galley widget through Adobe exchange and im getting very frustrated it keeps giving me this " The login attempt timed out.  Make sure that you are connected to the internet, and try to log in again." i assure you i am on the internet. I can get on adobe fine through the browser. Is there a setting that i need to change? Have researched and have seen other people have had issue but none of them were able to help me. I even opened up another account and still would not log on. Can someone help?

I had the same problem. Widget Browser was being blocked by AVG's firewall.

    Thanks for the follow-up.
I did encounter the System Preferences applet you mentioned when trying to resolve the problem. It turns out that the applet isn't particularly reliable. It also doesn't address the "Access Forbidden" issue. At least that was the case for me.
I ended up using the Terminal / Unix solution presented above and am now back in business.
My beef with Apple isn't that the functionality can't be reenabled after applying some degree of work. It's more of a philosophical thing with me. People migrated from DOS to Windows and from Windows to Mac in search of simplicity. They wanted to get things done quickly and easily. To ask users to type in a bunch of arcane command line garbage just to host a local web site is crazy enough, but what makes this particular failure so reprehensible is that a perfectly functional user interface was ALREADY AVAILABLE. Some nitwit at Apple made a decision to remove that user interface and replace the functionality with a command line. That's just inexcusable. What's next? Will they ditch Pages and force people to use Unix VI editor for writing things? Why stop there? If they really want to go for the full 1990's experience, will the next edition of OSX block access to the Ethernet port and force us to use dial-up modems?
It's too bad Steve Jobs isn't still around to smack the originator of this half-brained scheme upside the head.

  • Adobe Exchange CC Panel not signed + Panel not loading (Win 8x64)

    hi there,
since there is no "final solution" for this, i have to ask here. hopefully ;-)
    Info
    a. Windows 8 64 bit
    b. all creative apps installed with "Creative Cloud Application" (no standalone or beta)
    c. all "Creative Cloud Apps" are up to date
    d. "Extensionmanger CC" version 7.1
    e. logged in with an Microsoft-Online-Account
    solutions tryed:
1, removed all CC apps via uninstallation
    2. run full run "Adobe_Creative_Cloud_Cleaner_Tool" to remove every trace left
    3. installed all the programs new and "udate" all.
    4. tryed to install the "AdobeExchange.zxp" via extension "Adobe Extensionmanager CC" gives the unsigned-fault every time.
    5. no panels open, nor any reaction if i try to invoke "Adobe Excange" from "Dreamveaver CC".
    6. fault in "Adobe Photoshop CC (32 + 64)" "cannot complete command because the extension could not be loaded. (kuler doesn't work also
    7. no matter if options "warning for unsigened extension" or " no internet access" are ON or OFF in any combination in Extension manager.
    8. update to "Application Manager" brings no change
    9. after new installation i did not sync from "Creative Cloud" anything, but does not help
    10. with synced "Creative Cloud" settings does not do anything better(more worse: it even screwed up all saved online settings)
    good to know
    I. Extensions install and can be used with an other local account on the same PC.
II. if i change the online account to local account and vice versa brings no changes.
III. "Extension Manager CS6" (with Fireworks) does everything fine
IV. No problems on my MacPro in same network with  same "Creative Cloud User Profile"

  • DW CC  2014 Window--- Extensions--- Adobe Exchange Option Missing from Menu Toolbar

I discovered that this option is not listed in the menu though from reading Adobe Dreamweaver * Extensions it should be.
Then, I did a search and came up with Adobe Extension Manager CC at Adobe - Exchange : Download the Adobe Extension Manager.
So.  I thought maybe I had to install the Adobe Extension Manager CC and the option would then appear under the Window menu items listed.
I successfully performed the install of Adobe Extension Manager cc then started DW CC 2014..
    The option did not appear.
Now, I suspect I can use Adobe Extension Manager CC just fine (assuming here) but I would prefer to manage extensions as advertised in Adobe Dreamweaver * Extensions.
Can anyone give me some guidance?
    Thanks,
    Jerry

For anyone else with this problem it is a pain but, yes Arpit is correct. Uninstall Photoshop CC 2014.1, go to the Adobe site and sign in, go to Apps, download Photoshop CC 2014 again and install. It should open as 2014.2. Then you can see Windows>Libraries
I'm not sure why my system repeatedly would not see there was an update to Photoshop. That seems like a bug to me for a subscription based service. Wonder what else I might be missing out on?
Now I hope my Libraries content (which shows up in Photoshop) will now start showing up in the cloud online. It is missing. Ugh.
    Hope this helps.

  • Adobe Exchange Panel Extension does not install

As titled, after download the extension for CS6 and double click, the extension manager is opened.
But nothing is happed nor any notification or sign of installation.
And open PS, Illustrator, there is no "Adobe Exchange" in exchange menu.
Our system is Windows 8 64 Standard English with Chinese Traditional CS6 Master Collection.
If there is any clue would be appreciated.

Please update Extension Manager CS6 to the latest version 6.0.8 first. Click "Tools"->"Preferences" menu item in Extension Manager, check "Enable detailed logging" option. Restart Extension Manager. Try to install the Exchange Panel extension again. Wait for a while, quit Extension Manager. Send all log files under "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Log" to [email protected]
Note that "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData" folder is hidden by default. You have to check "Organize"->"Folder and search options"->"View"->"Show hidden files, folders, and drives".

  • Adobe Exchange panel doesn't appear in Dreamweaver CC

I've joined CC and I'm using Dreamweaver, I've also tried to download and install Adobe Exchange panel without success - I can see it in extension manager but the panel doesn't appear in Dreamweaver.  I'm beginning to regret ever signing up for CC as it appears to be very glitchy.  Could someone help me with this please.
    I'm running Windows 7
    Many thanks
    Maddie

    Hi Maddie,
Thank you for this extra information regarding the Exchange Panel not appearing. It's strange that the problem appears in both CC and CS6 - these use different processes and different installation directories for extensions and should be independent of each other.
    A few questions -
Can you please look in Task Manager when Photoshop CC is running and see if there is a process listed called "Adobe CEP Service Manager"? Do you have any "system optimisation" or security software running which may be blocking processes that you haven't expressly permitted?
In Photoshop CC, can you see any other extensions listed in Window -> Extensions? Upon installation there should be other Extensions available, for example "Kuler" - can you see this in the dropdown? This will help us to work out whether this is a problem with Adobe Exchange specifically, or if it is an issue with all extensions in general.
If you can then turn on logging as follows, that would be very helpful:
    In Registry Editor, regedit.exe:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Adobe>CSXS.4
Increase the LogLevel to 6. Then run Dreamweaver or Photoshop CC - Log files will be generated in: C:\Users\<username>\[AppData]\Local\Temp. If you are in Photoshop the log file will have the filename csxs4-PHSP.log, and for Dreamweaver it will be csxs4-DRWV.log. Please email these log files to me at fgregor at adobe dot com.
Upon searching the forums, there was another user who may have had the same problem as you (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1291469) - can you check whether C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4 contains CEPServiceManager.exe?
Regarding the "glitchy" issues you mention - this forum is for Adobe Exchange, but if you can provide a bit more information about what is going wrong then we'll try to redirect your question to someone else who can help.
    Best regards,
    Fraser

  • Adobe Exchange CS6, unable to log me in...

When I try to Download a panel from Adobe Exchange CS6, it says it is unable to log me in. When I hit Sign in nothing happens.

This worked for me. (everything is pulled from this post here.)
Delete the opm.db file on your machine
    For Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\OOBE
For Mac:  ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE for Mac. (make sure you can view hidden files in Finder or delete it from your terminal using rm ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db)
After you delete the opm.db file, you will have to log in again and everything should work.
It's just really annoying and kind of strange that I can be logged into Folio Builder and logged in online, but Exchange still won't sign in properly. Welcome to the world of cloud computing.

  • Where did Adobe Exchange panel go...On photoshop cc2014/64

    I cant find adobe exchange panel...is it not possible...on cc2014  and x64

The Adobe Exchange panel does not support the CC2014 release of apps because it is a panel created using Flash as opposed to HTML5, and CC 2014 apps only support HTML5 panels.
We have not rushed to release an HTML5 version of the Adobe Exchange panel because we are expecting users to use the new Add-ons website (creative.adobe.com/addons) to obtain addons instead of the panel now.
There are no definitive plans in place to create a CC 2014 compatible panel.
    Hope this helps.
