Cant sign-in to imessage and facetime

HELP!!!
I can't sign in to Facetime and iMessage..Done reseting the password of my apple ID.restored iPod Touch as well but still cant sign in to iMessage and Facetime. Please HELP.

I tried go to date and time preferences and change set automatically to on. Don't works.
Also I tried just rebooting my router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. Don't works.
I can't you use iMessages and FaceTime in other places with Wifi. Don't works.
Don't  it work outside of my home using 3G ... Don't works.

  • MacBook Pro keeps asking to sign into iCloud, iMessage, and FaceTime

    My wife's MacBookPro11,3 keeps asking her to sign into iCloud, iMessage, and FaceTime, non of which she uses.  She keeps clicking on cancel, but they just keep popping back up, one after the other.  She is using OS 10.9.3.  Any suggestions how to stop this non-stop cycle?  We've tried re-starting the computer, but that didn't help.  I didn't see anything in preferences that I could turn off.  She has just moved the pop-up window over to the edge of the screen so she can keep using the computer.  Thanks.

    Do you mean logging in and out of the MacBook Pro, or in and out of iCloud, iMessage, and FaceTime?  I will have her try logging in and out of the MacBook Pro.

    My pad run out of battery, after recharge I was no more able to sign in with iMessage and FaceTime.

    :go to settings on ipad, click on wifi, then on the right hand side just next to your wifi name there is a blue arrow, click on the blue arrow & look below, there will be a field called DNS, IN the DNS server field just copy and paste the following DNS servers, do not edit anything , just put as it is and also make sure they are no spaces at the start or at the end

    Having the same issue but it seems to be everything - messages, phone, contact, viber. It's made my phone completely useless!! I open it, opens it, doesn't load anything but the white page and then it goes back to the home screen.
    I can't even go back to a phone back up as it wont connect to itunes any more - says it needs to be updated - app store has no update for itunes.

    Go to Settings>>Message>>Send&Receive and check if your Apple ID was set or not. If not, set it properly.
    If it is still not working, unsign your Apple ID and select your mobile number ("+" "country code" "mobile number").
    Also check in: Settings>>Message if you turned on iMessage before. Here, turn off "Show Subject Field".
    Did you turn on iCloud as well?

    wifi is fine, apple servers r to busy to effectively use facetime and imessages right now is all. and activation error is due to high server traffic as well. keep trying or wait, thats it

    I somehow lost connection with both iMessages and FaceTime on my iMac and now unable to sign in.  I am able to access both the App Store and iTunes Store with my Apple ID and password.  I went through the steps suggested in the help section (TS3970) and all appears fine.  I am operating on a iMac running OS X Yosemite version10.10.2  I do not experience any problems on my IOS devices (IOS 8) running iMessages and FaceTime if this means anything.

    I of course already checked and I also checked iTunes, where else can I check?

    After doing a clean install of ML, I can't login anymore to iMessage and FaceTime. I'm correctly login to iTunes, AppStore and on my iPhone iMessage works good.
    The error is "Il server ha rilevato un errore durante l'elaborazione della registrazione. Riprova pi tardi"
    or in english
    "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later."
    The problem is in ML because with Snow Leopard I hadn't a single problems. I'm on iMac 21.5'' late 2009.

    it didn't work for me. instead, it created more problem.
    inexplicably, now i have duplicate inactive imessage account which i don't know how to remove!
    instead of looking for ways to activate the imessage & factime, now need to fix another thing...
    another thing which i tried reading the thread was to log in using safe mode. it didn't help either. same "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later." problem. it was too laggy and had to force a shut down. rechecked disk permission and found a host of permission problems.
    sigh...
    more problems....
    apple support is closed for holiday...

    It sounds as if you may have an issue with your iPad not being activated for iMessages or FaceTime. You can correct this by following the steps in this article -

    I've noticed I am unable to use my Apple ID for both Facetime and  iMessage; if I am signed in to one of them, I'm unable to sign in to the  other. I get in a loop of the phone repeatedly popping up a password  entry screen for the Apple ID.
    If I cancel the process and sign out of either, I can successfully sign  in to the other. But no matter which I sign into first, I cannot sign in  to both at the same time. >__< It's working fine on my other iDevices (iPad 1, iPhone 4), this is the only one having the issue. The issue has been happening since my purchase of the iPhone 5 last year.
    Any ideas on a fix? It's driving me nuts. I've even just restored my phone and still receiving the exact same issue. Thanks in advance for any help as I am at a loss. ;(

Afterwards I went to ensure iMessages was still signed in (Paranoia perhaps lol). Then I went back in and re-enabled FaceTime. The information was inserted back in, but Caller ID for Facetime was unchecked, so I selected my email address instead of phone. And both have oddly been working fine and stayed signed in since. No password requests at all.
    I have zero clue why this works, but it does. I only figured it out thanks to obcessive behavoir and inablilty to accept it was broken lol. Anyone else with the issue want to confirm if it works for them as well?
