Cant start up Itunes
I deleted Quicktime and I found out I cant run Itunes without it.
So, I removed Itunes and Quicktime off my comp. Reinstalled Itunes+Quicktime and when I tried to start it up.
It says, "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
I tried reinstall everything again and its still the same. Now, I cant even update my songs on my nano.
How do I fix this?
same too! i have read loads of articles on similar problems with opening itunes in hope that the solutions would help me but they haven't!!!! i have even restored my pc in hope that itunes would go bk to normal but no such luck

The first thing you need to do is to check if Quicktime works, iTunes can't work if Quicktime doesn't.
If Quicktime doesn't work, give the error message in full, then go to Control Panel and try to start Quicktime preferences - give any erroe message in full.
Have you installed any of thre following Codecs?
ACE & K-Lite mega codecs package, QT alternative, Storm codec

When I plug in my Ipod Touch to my computer I can not access my Itunes library. The following message appears "The program cant start because MSVCR80.dll is missing." Also, another message appears as well - "Error 7 Windows error 126" as well as APSDaemon.exe.
I have NO IDEA what the heck to do.
Any ideas?

You may have to follow the slightly more detailed steps in whichever of these two applies to you.

Rebooting into safe mode may be needed to delete any folder the instructions say you should remove. You may also find this Microsoft Fixit helps to remove stubborn components. It has taken some people several attempts to completely clean iTunes and supporting software before they have been able to successfully reinstall it.

trying to install the newest version of itunes on my pc and am getting "program cant start because msvcr80.dll is missing from your computer" reinstalling doesnt work. and then it says error 7 (windows error 126). Any help would be appreciated. Using Windows 7 enterprise on an hp Z600
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

First try updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5, using an installer downloaded from the Apple website:

It took about an hour to upgrade my iphone. You're also left a couple of times with a blank screen on the iphone whilst it does things in the background which is a bit confusing. Suggest you wait - it starts doing things again (like reload your apps and then your photos etc) after you think it's finished. It's finished only when it says it is.....

i started my itunes account on my first computer and just got a new computer. i downloaded itunes and authorized my computer but i still cant edit songs on the second computer. it also wont save things from my phone like playlists. lastly, it says i cant even play my songs without internet connection. what did i do wrong and how can i fix it?
Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

why cant i download itunes on my windows 7 pc? i used to have itunes on my pc once but it was not uploded for a while and got deleted...and now i have tried to download it and all i got was "thanks for download itunes"...after that i have tired to dwnload it from another web browser and ive got the same thing.....!!
Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.
