Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

I cant stream HD video using Airplay

I cant stream HD videos using airplay and a specific iphone app that used to work properly before (Globo.tv).
HD videos from Youtube app work fine. Any idea on what is going on?
All softwares are updated to the latest version, wifi is fine, router is an Airport Extreme fully updated.
My iPhone is a 5S and the Apple TV is the latest one.
Mirrowing the app using the iPad and playing the Globo.tv app works fine with airplay, but i cant see the video full screen.

Updating:
Well, I tried removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing happened.
But yesterday i realized something: the Globo.tv is an app that provides some unprotected videos and lots of protected. To wach it you must have an account with them. Well, I do. And used to wach all videos with no problems. Well, I realized that at some "point" I now can only Air Play "opened" videos. All others protected with login process, does not work.
How login works: I need to login at the app once. Then I can wach any video I want.
Any idea what is going on?
Another info: I can start waching the video and then click Air Play. It won´t work. If i do the same with an unprotected video, it works fine.

What's netbet pro?
I'd recommend asking questions about third party applications in the vendor's forum, not a Microsoft forum meant for admin scripting.

While using airplay iPhone won't ring

While using airplay my iPhone will not ring. The music cuts out and the phone will vibrate for a short time but won't ring through the speakers like it did before this last update.
This behavior happens with both iPhone 5c and 4s.

Accessing external speakers while using airplay

While using airplay I am unable to use my external speakers through the audio system that I use. When I go to preferences and sound I do not see external speakers listed.
I have used this same system for over a year now, but now external speakers are not listed, only the internal speakers are listed.
When using my iPad I have no problem using the external speakers. The problem is only when using my MacBook Pro.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thank you for the response. I was afraid that might be the case. I've been trying to think through a way to connect the ipad so that I can use the connected speakers inside while using airplay to connect to the ihome speaker outside. It looks like it is one or the other. I didn't think about that when purchasing the speaker for outside.

Why can't itunes stream movie audio over airplay?

This is more a suggestion to Apple engineers rather than a request for assistance but any comments in support (or otherwise) are welcome.
So, it goes like this, I use my iMac as my TV, entertainment centre, etc at home and I stream audio from there to an Airport Express hooked up to my stereo. Using Airplay in iTunes and third party apps like Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil this works for just about anything: my music library, live TV through EyeTV and non DRM movies...but I like to download rental movies from iTunes and for some reason I can't stream audio from iTunes movies. I understand that this is a documented limitation of iTunes and Airplay, and there can be some issues with audio and video getting out of sync due to the buffering, but if Airfoil can do it, why not iTunes? The Airfoil video player is pretty basic, but it compensates for the buffering delay without any problems, and I can even use VLC to manually add a delay into the video track.
Would it be possible to include this as part of a future iTunes update? I mean, I'd much rather rent movies legitimately through iTunes than resort to other more nefarious means to be able to enjoy watching movies on my Mac. What's more, I have this pathological antipathy toward hooking things up with cables, so Airplay is the perfect solution for me and loads of other people as well, I'm sure.
So come on Apple, show you really do care about Airplay and let iTunes stream the movie audio so that I can enjoy my entertainment in High Fidelity.

Well, here's some good news!
Looks like a feature of Mountain lion that didn't make the front page solves my problem. To get movie audio over Airplay, on OSX 10.8 go to Audio and MIDI Setup app, make sure you have the Audio Setup window open (Window - Show Audio Window) and if your Airport or other Airplay device is online it should appear in the list of audio IO devices on the left hand side.
Right click on the Airplay icon and select "Use this Device For Sound Output" and away you go. iTunes (10.7 at least) seems to be smart enough to realise that it is playing audio to a streaming device and buffers the video accordingly. Viola! Glorious hifi sound sans wires.

Is it possibly to have iTunes music play out of both the computer and Apple TV while simultaneously using Airplay Mirroring to view the computer screen on the TV? Whenever I try, by clicking on 'computer' radial button for volume in iTunes Airplay, the TV automatically reverts to the Apple TV screen. I usually end up using preferences to 'bring back' the audio to the computert while leaving the picture on the tv, but this means i have to suffer from the inferior sound quality of my Macbook internal speakers.

Photo moves while using spot healing brush

I've been using the spot healing brush basically on every photo but recently when I go to use it and press Option to get a clone source and then click my mouse the photo will move everywhere the mouse moves and not allow for a touch up.
It doesn't matter if I'm clicking the mouse the whole time or not, it just happens when i click once while using the healing brush.
I've tried reseting work space reseting my computer everything and I'm just desperate right now to figure out how to fix it.
because my latest photo shoot is of a young girl covered in acne and the spot healing brush is the best when it comes to making it blend.
i've asked everyone i know who uses photoshop and they have no idea. I can't be the only person this has happened to.

I guess you meant the healing brush? (the clone overlay is not supposed to be active with the
spot healing brush)
If your using cs4/cs5, check Clipped or Auto Hide in the clone source panel (Window>Clone Source) and see if that's better.

Silverlight won't work in FF4.0, cant stream movies from Netflix. SL works ok in IE 7.0 What is wrong with FF??

I used FF to stream movies from Netflix until Dec2010. I have updated to FF 4.0 and now I can't down stream Netflix movies. I get an error from Netflix that says Silverlight is not working and must reinstall.
BUT......Netflix and Silverlight works fine with IE 7.0
What happened to FF4.0..and Silverlight??

I just updated to the new Firefox and it wouldn't stream my Netflix movies. I was getting an error code related to Silverlight. I called Netflix and they had me enable my history and that fixed the problem. Their tech support, said the history/cookies must be enabled to stream movies. Hope this helps! (I also followed the prompt on the screen from Netflix with this error code to delete my old saved certificates, etc.)

Audio Output while using Airplay

I have a rather unique requirement that has me stumped. We have an Apple TV driving a projector that does not have audio output so when we mirror the display from the iMac using airplay we want the audio output device to be "Internal Speakers" but that can not be selected in System preferences. Does anyone know a work around for this configuration or will I have to get seperate amplifier and attach it to the optic audio output from the Apple TV?

Well, since I can't imagine this being a feature of Airplay I assume we're either hitting the limitations of the technology, or it's a bug. Knowing Apple I suspect it's a limitation of Airplay, perhaps because audio and video are sent out as an integrated stream?
I agree, this does suck, since all I have to use as audio is the tiny 1 watt speaker on my Epson projector! I can't even use audio out from the Apple TV, since all it has is that useless optical port. Very frustrating indeed.

The videos I watch on my Apple TV from my iMac while using AirPlay are VERY slow and delayed

Hi, I just bought an Apple TV and I'm just trying to watch some movies and videos wirelessly using AirPlay from my iMac so I don't have to conect it directly to my TV. The videos I intend to watch are already in mp4, there's nothing wrong if I watch them on iMac though. My Internet conexion is not that bad I watch Netflix and browse the Web and stuff from my TV Software and it never stops or gets delayed, it only happens with the Apple TV. Speaking of which, I already linked my Netflix account with the Apple TV and it works PERFECTLY fine, no delays or frozen pictures, it's just this problem with airplay. I have a Belkin Router for my home network. I already updated the Apple TV software and there's no improvement.

I have a similar issue with my Home Sharing. Everything plays just fine on my Apple TV except when I try to play a movie using Home Sharing. If I choose the same show or movie from the Purchased section of iTunes it works just fine but nothing ever loads for me on Home Sharing.

Blocking mouse movement while using a motion icon

Hey guys,
now that I know how to automate items in authorware by using the motion items I do have the problem that during the time, when the animated items moves along a specific predetermined path the mouse cursor is still on the screen and can be moved by the participant/respondent. I need the mouse cursor either to disappear or to not be movable during that time. Is there a possibility to block out participants entry (mouse movement) while the motion icon operates?

Can you block the onscreen keyboard of iphone while using airplay mirroring with apple tv?

i would like to use airplay mirroring for presentations but when logining into say youtube or email i do not want my keyboard being replicated on the big screen. Is there an option just to mirror everything except the keyboard?

mirroring size if perfect, i want to block out the on screen keyboard when loggin into something or any typing what so ever. This would be more for privacy when doing extended presentations where i would not like to go in, shut the mirroring off type my password into xxxx and then reapply mirroring to continue on with my display.

Stops streaming movies while watching

Movies rented through iTunes keep stopping as though the stream can't keep up to the player, however speedtest is showing a download rate of 30mb/s on both my iPad, and PC. Netflix movies work fine, as do movies on my Sony blue ray player. There must be something wrong with iTunes site?
my Apple TV is connected via gigabit Ethernet, through a dlink media router (not wireless)
i tested the movie on my iPad same problem? (I think I paid for the movie twice, go figure? This is another issue ?)

I sent 3 screen shots 1 of firefox plugins, 1 programs, 1 Internet explorer addons I don't see anything in IE about adobe except for pdf viewer? I can watch justin tv streams on it and firefox though. They both just do the stopping thing every now and then. THanks again

Thanks. You mentioned you had Shockwave in IE. Check in Toolbars & Extensions via Manage addons, do you have Shockwave Flash Object listed and Enabled? I just want to be sure on that. There is another Shockwave Active X that is for Shockwave Player, which is different.
Now I don't know if you have turned off the hardware acceleration feature which is turned on by default with FP 10.1.
If you don't, then go to youtube, bring up a video and right click on the video. Then click on Settings and then Display Settings to turn that off. I would use both the IE & FF browsers and do that.
It is also recommended to update the graphic and video drivers to the latest versions. Sometimes just turning off the H.A., will work.
Try that first and see if there is any improvement.

How to restart movie play using AirPlay

I have an iPad 2 connected to Apple TV which is connected to our HDTV.
Click Video. Select a Movie. Start playing the movie.
Click the AirPlay control and send the movie to Apple TV.
After a couple of minutes the iPad screen will go dark.
If I double tap the Home button the Video app appears.
There is a 'Slide to Unlock' slider at the bottom.
And at the top there are controls for the movie play. Volume, Skip Forward, Skip Back, and Pause.
I tap the Pause button (without using the 'Slide to Unlock' slider).
The movie stops playing.
Now I want to restart the movie. But the 'Play' button does not respond.
The Volume and Skip buttons are active. But the Play isn't.
The only way I can get the movie to start playing again is to slide the 'Slide to Unlock' slider.
Then tap the Play button.
Is this the way it is supposed to be working?
I find having these controls available from the double tap of Home extremely convenient.
I'd just like to know if there is a way to restart the play without unlocking the screen.

I called Apple Support on this.
This is working like it is supposed to.
The 'Resume/Play' button is disabled until the screen is unlocked.
The other buttons will work.
A suggestion by the agent was to change the screen lock controls when using this function.
Now that I understand that this is the expected behavior I know what to do.
